Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Roodepoort

As advertised, this is indeed an oasis in busy Johannesburg! The directions were very clear, location was easy to find, and check in was easy. The space itself is lovely - spacious, very clean, and extremely well-equipped. Little details like lovely shampoo, conditioner, and soap and the kitchen being pre-stocked with coffee, eggs, butter, milk, and all sorts of spices for cooking made us feel right at home. This is one of the best AirBNBs I've been to from an attention to detail perspective. The garden is also lovely, and the cottage is very private and secure. The location is fantastic - close to everything from Sandton to Parkhurst to Zoo Lake. Liza was proactive and friendly with communication, and has really put the time into making sure that we were safe and comfortable.

My stay at the place was great. It had all amenities with a little extra. It’s in a great location with a very peaceful surroundings.

Our stay at this stunning home in Sandton was absolutely unforgettable ♥️! The best Airbnb house I have ever stayed in. The location was perfect & the house itself was simply breathtaking, such luxurious furniture, the private huge pool was spectacular, an amazing jacuzzi 💦 with a massive flat screen tv 🫶🏽, a spacious garden, luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. The pictures really don't do enough justice to this place. The daily housekeeping was a delight and was incredibly impressed by the attentive service provided by the stuff. Their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile made our stay truly special. The house felt incredibly safe, peaceful and secure with its own private entrance, providing us with complete peace of mind throughout our stay. Communication with Michael was excellent both before and during our stay. He was incredibly responsive and helpful in answering all our questions. I loved it ❤️❤️

I had a great stay at this modern bachelor apartment! The space was clean, well-designed, and equipped with everything I needed — from a comfy bed to a functional kitchen area. The décor was minimalist but stylish, creating a cozy atmosphere that felt like home. I especially appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and quiet surroundings, which made it perfect for both relaxing and getting some work done. Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly and responsive throughout my stay. The location was also convenient, close to local cafes, stores, and transport. Highly recommend this place for solo travelers or couples looking for a comfortable, well-maintained Airbnb!

What can I say?! An incredible spot to spend a few peaceful days in the city. it felt like a home away from home the second we walked through the door. Our hosts were fantastic and made us and our pups feel welcome the entire time we were there. The pool was a delight, and the view over Sandton was glorious. I can't recommend Alex & Gideon, or their cottage, highly enough.

What a hidden gem. Beautiful, well looked after modern cabin next to the river. All you need is there. Place is well stocked with all essentials and even more to keep yourself occupied. We had the best time and felt right at home. Thanks to our host for having us and making sure we had everything we needed. Great experience, will visit again!!!

My husband and I ended up making a last minute booking late in the evening. Dev was accommodating and very friendly. The place is cozy and stunning and we felt right at home.
