A Wonderful Stay in Reggio Emilia with Exceptional Hosts Paolo and Maura are outstanding hosts who made our stay in their lovely Reggio Emilia apartment truly memorable. The space is spotlessly clean, peaceful, and very comfortable, with a beautifully appointed bathroom and the convenience of a dishwasher and clothes washer—everything we needed for a relaxed and easy stay. They went above and beyond in their hospitality. Paolo even recommended and arranged a tour for us at the nearby Consortium of the Red Cows, which turned out to be a fascinating and unique experience we’ll never forget. The apartment’s location is ideal for exploring the region—Bologna is close by, and even Venice is doable as a day trip by car or train. We made the trip and returned the same evening without trouble. We highly recommend visiting this lesser-known gem of Italy—Reggio Emilia is rich in culture, charm, and authenticity, and Paolo and Maura’s apartment is the perfect home base.

Tommaso's house is in an ideal location: in the middle of the fields, so very quiet, but a 5-minute drive to a very well-stocked supermarket. It also allowed us to quickly reach both Modena, Reggio Emilia, and Parma, and their wonderful and little-known surroundings.
