Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rutland

Beautiful home that is about 15min from Manchester, which is wonderful to walk around (shops, restaurants). The home is secluded on a nice piece of property in the woods. It was a charming getaway with a wood-burning fireplace and great amenities (games, dart board, hot tub, etc). Highly recommend!

Cute Vermont farmhouse that had everything that you needed. We enjoyed Cooking inn and hanging out in the living with the fireplace. The hot tub was so much fun after a cold day on the mountains. There is a cute little coffee shop and super market only 10 minutes away.

Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Keen and thoughtful attention to details, from the well-appointed kitchen with pristine coffeemaker, to toiletries, to first-aid items to name a few. Comfy lodging for my party of three’s two nights. Thanks, Karen.

This is our second stay here. The house is roomy and clean. We even had a visit from the neighborhood bear!!! Location is perfect and private. I highly recommend.

Stephanie was an Incredible host! The listing matched her description and the property looked even better upon checking in. Stephanie maintains this property really well and I couldn’t have felt any more at home. The home was clean and had a perfect cozy feeling to it. In addition, this was really close to the mountain, which made the getaway even better. I enjoyed the privacy and waking up to a nice snow dusting before my trip to the mountain. Brianna is a wonderful host, very friendly, always available and ready to help in anything we may need. The house is like a Dream House. Lovely living room with a fireplace, TV and a big and comfy sofa. Every room in the house was excellently decorated with a high test and good sense of space making you feel warm and welcome, like your own home. The surroundings are so beautiful that you even have a river running in the backyard. Like fairytale stories. The most amazing thing is the Kitchen fully equipped with seasonings, coffee, tea and beautiful crockery and pot sets. Everything you may need for a memorable vacation is here! We loved this place and definitely we're going to come back. Thank you very much Brianna, you're amazing!

We had a great weekend at Spencer's place. The lake is beautiful. We had a great time doing morning and evening paddleboard trips. The cottage is fantastic. So much attention to small details. Beautiful design, clean, clutter-free, beautiful views, and everything that we needed. A very well-stocked kitchen with nice utensils and appliances. A great place to unwind, relax, and recharge. We would definitely return.

We've stayed here several times and it has become a home away from home when visiting our daughter. We enjoy staying here because the place is so peaceful, clean, quiet and has all the comforts of home. This will continue to be our place of choice when visiting the area.

Great spot right next to Okemo! The cabin was better than the photos, felt really homey and clean.

My daughter and I had a great time. We were able to bike several times straight from the house, and the town had everything we needed for a local run, food shopping, and restaurants. It was a perfect little getaway!!

Super convenient location. Minutes away from town but still very private and peaceful. Jill was very communicative and helped with recommendations. Apartment was clean and wonderful. Very spacious and comfortable. Hot tub is a definite plus. Would highly recommend.

The best option for 4 or less people near Middlebury VT. As a previous Vermonter for 3 years, I love the coziness and all the artifacts inside - all seemed very authentic to a Vermonters lifestyle. The hosts are super nice, very friendly, and proactive in providing instructions. The kitchen is especially well-equipped with everything we needed to cook for 4 people, which stands out from all the Airbnbs I’ve previously stayed. We come to VT quite often and it’s disheartening that this is the first time of us finding out about Docs place… Will definitely comeback!

Dianne is an absolute gem. She goes above and beyond to make your stay truly incredible. Our family had the absolute best time at her cabin. It was filled with snacks and food that we all enjoyed. The waterfalls and waterfront are an experience we won't forget. You can feel the peace the moment you step out of your car and will leave feeling so refreshed. My two kiddos enjoyed every bit of their stay along with our pup. Truly an amazing little cabin and an amazing host!

We came for the weekend to get away for our anniversary and loved it! The cabin was cute and cozy. The property was beautiful with lots of space for our pups and I loved hanging out by the little creek. Super close to the nearby town but still secluded and felt very private.

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect for us and our dogs—plenty of room to relax, a fully stocked kitchen, and super comfortable beds. We especially loved the fire pit and cozy wood stove for chilly evenings, and the coffee setup was a great bonus in the mornings. Brooke was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

My wife, two year old, two dogs, and myself stayed at this beautiful property for our anniversary. It was an easy choice for us as they were able to accommodate our two pups which was important to us. Something that also appealed to us was the playground, which was a few feet away from our cabin. This all made it so easy for us with a toddler and two dogs to vacation with ease. Our host were incredibly friendly and very open to helping us if we were to have any issues or concerns, which we did not because the stay was perfect. I would highly recommend to families or people with pets. Our toddler was very found of the lively and very sweet donkey. Thank you so much for hosting us. :)
