Nestled at the woods edge and named after our resident owl, Hooting Haus is a European styled cabin retreat close to all Penn State offers. The gourmet kitchen's rustic charm features a zinc island, butcher block counter and natural stone wall. Entertain guests at the artisan crafted pine table while dining next to the antique fireplace. Relax with a hot tub soak, then cap the evening sharing stories under an inky sky gathered round the fire pit with a soothing hot toddy or mug of creamy cocoa.

Cottage in Warriors Mark

Our Cottage was originally the Barber shop here in Warriors Mark. It was eventually converted into an efficiency apartment. I completely renovated the Cottage over the summer of 2024. The space is very comfortable and inviting with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The space is perfect for a couple. The loveseat easily converts to a full size bed 51x72 inches. It is comfortable for one adult or 2 children. Close to fishing: Little Juniata, Spruce Creek, Raystown Lake.

Little House in the Big Woods

This is a carriage house where you will feel very comfortable in the newly renovated home. It is secluded and peaceful with beautiful wooded views but a quick drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Walking up a set of steps will feel a little like a house in the sky. It overlooks the mountains. There is a beautiful deck to sit outside and enjoy that view and the peace and quiet. There is a fire pit located on the property to continue that cleansing of all stress and worries.

Orchard Guesthouse

Private, cozy cottage with lots of extras. Wake up after a comfortable night's sleep to a breakfast of eggs from our chickens, prepared in a well-appointed kitchen. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Originally built as a carriage house in 1820 along with the adjoining stone home and a second stone building originally used as an out kitchen. This rustic cottage has been tastefully modernized and has a queen sized bed, full size refrigerator/freezer, gas range, large screen TV, heat pump that supplies air conditioning and heat, hot water shower and outside grille and fire pit.

We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home.
