One of three AirB&B listings on our 10-acre property atop Harper's Hill, it is surrounded by woods and a short walk up from the Puget Sound where you can fish from Harper pier or kayak over to Blake Island. The Southworth ferry terminal is just over a mile away providing direct access to both Seattle and Vashon Island. Harper is the perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

The 2-room, non-smoking space has its own entrance and patio, a king-size bed, full bath, and roomy living area with fireplace, MCM furnishings and a wet bar. Owners live upstairs. A relaxing ferry trip from West Seattle or Fast Ferry from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private walk in cottage, right on the edge of the water. Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the cottage.

The Carriage House is attached to the owner-occupied house by a shared wrap-around porch. As you'll see from the pictures, we are up on a hill overlooking Sinclair Inlet and the majestic Olympic Mountains. We are downtown Port Orchard, so restaurants and a myriad of cute shops are just steps away, as is the lovely waterfront. You'll have the house to yourself to relax in the serenity you deserve. You can get to and from Port Orchard by ferry from Seattle, so a getaway with no car is doable!

Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.
