Places to stay in Brinnon
Our home is located on the Olympic Peninsula, just steps from where the Duckabush River meets the Hood Canal. We have tried to create a cozy and rustic space for guests to relax in! The cabin is conveniently located near lots of hiking trails, and several public beaches. Prepare to be completely engulfed in nature, as the property is home to many interesting and rare plants and trees. Come sit in the hot tub, while bald eagles fly overhead, or head to a public beach and find a bounty of oysters!
You'll have the entire two bottom floors as your own during your stay! This includes a bedroom with office space, a bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, dining, and living room. You'll also have access to the whole property including gardens, patio, fire pit and hot tub. We hope you find our home to be cozy! Please enjoy all the snuggly blankets, the propane fireplace and the reading nook! Help yourself to any foodstuffs, and make use of our capable kitchen! We have a collection of board games and movies to keep you entertained. We have plenty of extra towels and bedding available if needed. The top floor is our private space for our personal belongings, so we have it roped off.
If you are looking for a solid meal and a great view, head north on Route 101 to the Geoduck restaurant/bar. Sit outside on the patio and look out over the canal! If you’re looking for some oysters, head south on 101 for 10 miles to Hama Hama. They have a large outdoor seating area and the yummiest oysters around! There are an endless amount of hiking options in the area including Dosewallips, Mt. Walker, Mt. Jupiter, Duckabush River and lots more!
  • This cabin is so beautifully tucked into the woods with so much greenery and beautiful views so close to beaches and trail heads with an amazing oyster place down the street (Hama Hama) strongly recommend! The place was sparking clean and decently stocked with food stuffs. You will love it!

  • Shane & Taryn’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin was so cozy and we loved having the ability to jump in the hot tub after a full day of hiking! Their cabin has everything you would think you need for a weekend away - and more! We were super impressed with how well stocked the home was and how many different cooking appliances and utensils were at our disposal. I would highly recommend staying at their cabin , as I’m already trying to figure out when my wife and I can come back!

  • This is an amazing little home in a beautiful place. It's very close to several small towns but also very secluded and private. It has everything you need and feels like home. We really didn't want to leave and definitely hope to return again. Shane was very nice and helpful.

  • This place is better than it looks. It’s very quiet, very cozy, and is filled with items you don’t normally find all assembled in an AirBnB. (board games, DVDs, hot tub, fireplace, endless snacks, cooking materials, etc) Would love to revisit to hike more mountains nearby.

It is a total paradise and a place to totally get away from it all. Breathtaking view of Hood canal from every room of the house or from the expansive many level decks. Make your way down the staircase to the beach where you can swim, fish, crab, or paddle out in the kayaks . On the front deck relax in the hot tub, sauna, in the cool evenings sit at the fire pit outside, This is an amazing getaway that will be unforgettable-you will definitely feel like you are on vacation here
The three separate rooms offer an amazing view of the Hood Canal. From the living room you can gaze out on the sunrise or on the expansive porch that you can hang out on or at the BBQ on the outside covered deck with the table and propane heater or relaxing in the hot tub. The access down to the beach is an easy way down with decks to stop enjoy the view. You can clam on the beach or go out on kayaks and paddle just down the beach to the Dosewallips Wildlife Estuary or
This is a quiet neighborhood, it is right off hwy 101 with a little land and road between. It is a small town with a gas station, bar, restaurant, general store and that’s about it. There is hiking and many water sports in the area. If you bring your food you will never want to leave.
  • This place is a GEM. We came to celebrate a birthday for the weekend and truly had a wonderful time. The views are to die for and the amount of space on the property really is great for a group. There are multiple tiered decks, beach access with unlimited oysters you can grill, kayaks, a hot tub and sauna, all with beautiful views of the Hood Canal. I would love to come back in the summertime!! It is pretty remote so I would recommend doing groceries before coming here. There are a number of beautiful hikes to choose from within 15 minutes! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone coming to the peninsula.

Our stay was very comfortable and we loved the wonderful extras, such as an espresso machine, cozy blankets on the couches/chairs, kayaks, heater for deck, string lights on deck, lovely hot tub, etc. There are a couple restaurants nearby and hiking trails too.

  • Beverly’s home was the perfect place for our girls weekend. The hot tub was excellent and it was very nice being so close to the beach. The beds were comfortable and there was extra bedding and air mattresses to accommodate everyone.

The accommodations were so wonderful and the bed upstairs in the loft was so extremely comfortable. I personally loved the kayaks, I’ve never done it before and it was so much fun. Thank Allison for an amazing get away cabin!

  • This place is an awesome place to relax and enjoy friends or family. We had everything we needed and especially enjoyed the movie collection since it was pretty cold and stormy while we were there. I hope to come back sometime in the summer to take full advantage of the beach, kayaks, and awesome bbq setup!

    Jordan2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • This has been a spectacular experience. The view, privacy, kayaks, nature, close trails were exactly what we were looking for. There were a lot of games and movie options available for entertainment in the house as well.

Enjoy waterfront views in a quiet private cabin. Eagles frequent the property on a private beach. It's a wonderful base for exploring nearby Olympic National Forest, Port Townsend, Sequim and Olympic National Park. It's located half-way between Hoodsport and Port Townsend. Minimum 2-night stays on Fri &/or Saturday night bookings May-Sept are greatly appreciated.
The cabin is on Dabob Bay. It's about 45 minutes south of Port Townsend and about and hour 1/2 from Port Angeles, the Victoria Ferry and the Olympic National Park Hurricane Ridge gateway. You may see lots of wildlife. You can see seals, seal lions, and eagles just about every day. The eagles hang out in front of the cabins pretty much full-time late fall through August. Brinnon elk herd is usually around town, but has also been along our road a few times this winter,
This is located at the site of the former Rainbow Lodge Fishing Resort operated by family members until the early 1970s. Yours is one the last remaining original cabins, Seal Rock Resort was just down the road. It's a beautiful, quiet location and is now home to many retirees and weekenders.
  • A slice of heaven

    Linda2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy little cottage on the water. And the eagles were spectacular!

  • Super cute, clean little house. It fit us comfortably and was close to plenty of great hikes and beaches. The heater in the bedroom will heat up the house well. Plenty of dishes and pans for cooking. Great view out of the windows and on the patio. It was great to wake up to the waves and seagulls.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our winter weekend getaway here. Our host, Lynne maintained great communication even though she’s not nearby. The houseboat had literally everything we needed for a weekend stay. It was super clean, well maintained and well appointed. We brought our groceries with us and had lunch and morning espresso at the marina galley. So comfortable and relaxing we didn’t really want to leave it. We went hiking at Dosewallips state park (just a couple of miles down the road). Gorgeous hike through the woods and along the river! Then we ate dinner at the Geoduck Restaurant and Lounge - obviously a favorite local spot. Friendly service, good food large servings. Both the hike and the restaurant are just a couple of miles from the houseboat. All in all - wonderful gem of a place to stay :).

  • This little excursion to the northwest for a destination wedding was the best! Beautiful part of the state. Our 1st time on a house boat. Truly like camping on the water but in your own cabin. Windows open all night, stars overhead through the sky light. Quiet and peaceful. Great experience!

    Kathy2019-08-25T00:00:00Z

  • This was such a wonderful space. Great amenities and an amazing view. Would 100% book again any time of the year.

    Adrienne2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The views from the house are stunning! Inside, everything is clean and modern. It’s easy to cook and still enjoy the views. The stairs to the beach are steep but stable and we were able to get up and down with a 3 year old no problem. It’s a great location to explore the Hood Canal and the east side of the Olympic National Park. We would definitely book again.

    Francesca2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great space for friends to catch their breath. Only went down to the beach once since there wasn’t much space to walk along the shore. Great clean space!

    Shalom2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible! The wall of windows looking over the water is beautiful and just as it looks in the pictures, making the living/dining/kitchen space really stunning. There are actually more rooms than the pictures give one to believe: a master bed with a king-sized bed and attached bath; a 2nd room downstairs with a queen bed and large closet, an upstairs room with a queen and single bed, and then a TV area in the open, loft up with a futon. So very spacious. And the kitchen is large (though peculiarly laid-out and not especially well-equipped). All in all, a perfect getaway - though you can get this same place a lot cheaper on Vacasa (the firm that runs the house).

    Priti2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely would stay again. Had a great getaway

Get out of the Rat Race A quiet and peaceful getaway spot. No man made lighting is seen at night or sound, just the mountains and the Dosewallips River singing a melody. This spacious cottage on riverfront is fully equipped for living, cooking and laundry facility. Two miles up the Dosewallips River Rd from hwy 101, surrounded by National Forest and private timberland. A gateway to hiking in Olympic National Park, and exploring the Hood Canal. Five day minimum …. three persons maximum
Over the river and thru the woods ..... Just a stroll down the trail to the river, no other persons will be seen - just a private and unspoiled wild river to enjoy. There is a futon in then livingroom for an additional person Ping Pong in the garage downstairs, for that rainy day ..... (see pics)
This rural location is surrounded by timberland and National Forest. Our river frontage is unique. The Dosewallips is the largest of the rivers coming from the East side of the Olympic Mountains. The section of the river fronting our place has no neighboring houses. The opposite side of the river is unspoiled woodland without habitation for miles - frequented mostly by our local Elk herd (see pics). The river sings it's tune day and night - great for sleeping.
  • A super quiet and spacious place to stay with great access to Olympic Forest trails. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable weeklong stay and Kenneth was really helpful.

    Steve2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Carriage House had bags of space and was very clean and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable during the whole of our USA trip. We were there to walk in the local area and enjoyed the peaceful setting close to the walks we wanted to do. Ken was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. We loved the table tennis!

    Caroline2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect place to stay while you explore the Hood Canal region. The house is fitted rather basically, but has every basic item you need. We really appreciated Ken & Myra’s kindness and thoughtful nature, and loved having the river right by the house.

    Laura2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Expect peace and quiet, tall trees, river below you can hear while you sleep, user-friendly kitchen, wonderful jacuzzi tub, comfy furniture, and close to so much beauty and adventure, including an amazing waterfall just up the road. Near kayaking, hiking, pizza.... what more could we ask?

    Susan2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place! This is the perfect blend of rustic with modern conveniences. We spent an extended weekend, and had everything we needed and more. This trip was a getaway with the 13-year old before getting back into “school mode”. He is a 6’-2” baby, so we are always worried about him having space to move around without us all feeling claustrophobic. This place was ideal. The high ceilings, large living room and sizable bathroom (not to mention the ping pong table and second bathroom on the bottom floor) gave plenty of room and felt very airy and spacious. There is a separate bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Both beds provided restful sleep. Surrounded by trees, there is plenty of privacy, but also ample space to be outdoors — even a field across the street where my husband and son took daily walks. Although there is no oven (there is a small toaster oven with “bake” setting), I was able to prepare a variety of meals on the ceramic range-top. I always travel with my own when using a place with a kitchen, but you will want to remember to bring along whatever seasonings you may need — including table salt and sugar. The fridge is a nice size, as is the microwave. There is coffee maker, as well as electric tea kettle. There was a small supply of coffee, but bring along tea if that is your warm beverage of choice. The main bathroom has a beautiful jetted tub made for long, luxurious soaking. We all enjoyed that tremendously. Lovely, quality towels and linen add to the feeling of “home”. Kenneth met us when we arrived. Genuine and gracious, cooperative, thoughtful and responsive. He gave us our privacy, but we knew he meant it when he said to ask if we needed anything. I am always impressed and appreciative when people open their spaces and allow you to use them as your own for a while. This is one of those places — impressive and welcoming. We have definitely added it to our Favorite’s list, and plan to visit this hidden gem again in the months and years to come.

    Shawn2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very quiet. Easy to find. Clean, great bathtub! Ping pong table was so much fun. Close to hiking trails. Really enjoyed our time there.

  • Our honeymoon was perfect, because we stayed in this house boat. Lynne was the perfect host, she gave us all of the details of the rental, then went above and beyond to reccomend some beautiful places and great restaurants when I had mentioned we were on our honeymoon. She checked in to make sure we had safety arrived and found our Airbnb successfully. The house boat was even more adorable than we had expected, with beautiful sky lights and cozy furnishings. We were thrilled to spend some time together in such a relaxed environment. We will be back again soon, and Lynne is top notch!

  • Skip & Sue were exceptional hosts. We sat & enjoyed our coffee every morning peering out over the water. Location is close to downtown shops & a nice walking path along the waterfront. Very quiet & peaceful. We enjoyed our stay.

Escape to Seal Rock for a relaxing and fun-filled experience. Enjoy nature at its very best. Our home (3080 square feet) with the first floor wheelchair accessible and includes a large gourmet kitchen and a more than ample dining room, table seating for 14, and large living room. All five bedrooms you can choose a king sized bed or two extra long twin sized beds. This beautiful property (1.91 acres) backs the Olympic Nat'l Forest and offers 135' of low bank waterfront and fantastic views.
Seal Rock is a favorite location for multiple generations coming together to have good quality time together experiencing activities they may not have tried before. Crabbing is a favorite activity (seasonal), picking oysters, digging clams, hiking, etc. Our girl groups really enjoy our home, the five bedrooms can be made up with all king sized beds or two extra long twin sized beds in every bedroom. We are wheelchair accessible on the main floor with a roll-in shower, roll-up sink, grab bars for transferring from a wheelchair to the toilet, shower stool, etc. There are local restaurants to enjoy. Let your stress fade away in our water view six person jetted spa. Take in fantastic Mt. Rainier and Hood Canal views around the fire pit, we provide a moderate amount of firewood, kindling, starter paper, and lighter. Explore Hood Canal in our 12' aluminum row boat, we provide life jackets, crab pots (seasonal), crab bait, etc.
It is unusual to offer a large waterfront home on Hood Canal that sleeps 16 people in beds. We are in a remote area but surprisingly close to Seattle, there is no public water or sewer system at all in our area. We have a wonderful well with clean good tasting water that produces over 60 gallons per minute. Even though we have a great well we want our guests to conserve water. We just improved our septic system from two bedroom to seven bedroom. We are ready for large groups. The back property line is the Olympic Nat'l Forest. There are waterfalls, hikes, fishing, crabbing, shrimping, oyster picking, clam digging, restaurants, etc. very close by or from our property. We look forward to groups enjoying this wonderful home.
  • Our party of 10 adults agreed unanimously that this place was truly a 5 star experience. Every aspect of our weekend; from check-in, to cleanliness to location was a step above our usual experience with Airbnb. (And we've really not had bad experiences previously). There's no way to over emphasize the beauty of this location, the comfort of this home and the thoughtful and gracious touches by the host. The kitchen is fully loaded with all kinds of cooking gear, spices, and towels. The beds were large and clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were huge! with plenty of clean towels. And the water views! Every moment worth noticing the beautiful views of Hood Canal through the many large picture windows in this home. Your money is very well spent here.

  • Lovely, spacious home in excellent condition. Plenty of cookware in the kitchen for preparing meals. Gorgeous views of the water.

  • What a great place to bring a large family to. Lots of space, huge dining table and a kitchen stocked with everything imaginable! The house was spotless and Tammy, the host, left many thoughtful touches. We used the offered bait, crab pots, boat and went crabbing (after getting a license from the local store)! We would definitely stay here again!

  • Our group, of 5 families, had a great time at Tammy's place. There was plenty of space for us and everything was clean. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful sights of the PNW.

    Pamela2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • There is nothing missing from this home. The view is beautiful, a hot tub, row boat, fire pit for marshmallow roasting. Very spacious uncluttered home, many different places to relax in. Our stay was a rainy-stormy one, but enjoyed by all.

    Holly2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic home near the water with private access to the water. Spacious living spaces and kitchen is very well stocked with necessary cooking items.

    Mike2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Tammy's place is a great spot for a multi-family get-away. If you hit the ferry right, it's a quick trip from Seattle and has ample room for three or four families. Starting from making the reservation, Tammy was very accommodating and thoughtful about meeting our needs. The bedrooms can be set up as kings or double twins and they were set up exactly as we requested. She also provided very clear instructions on getting to--and into--the house. The house itself is in a great location several miles north of Brinnon and Dosewallips State Park. The kids enjoyed swimming and crabbing right from the beach and the excellent clamming at Dosewallips (and you can get your shellfish licenses from the Brinnon General Store). They enjoyed the smores basket that Tammy thoughtfully left even more! The house comes with a row boat, life jackets, fishing poles, clamming and crabbing gear, and an outdoor steamer so you have everything you need to enjoy your seafood harvest. It's also an excellent place to paddle board, but don't be surprised if the eponymous residents of nearby Seal Rock come to say hello!

  • This unit is split into a studio which has one bedroom and a main unit which has 2 bedrooms. The views from the place are astounding and on a sunny day, you can spend time on the open deck. This place is dog friendly which is why we chose this place. We wanted a place which had great views and accommodated our fur friends. There is an open seating area which is amazing with glass roofs. On a sunny day, this is a perfect place to have your morning coffee.

  • This house has everything needed to view the canal, explore the canal, and the fresh air. Everything necessary for most anything needed to complete the stay....lovely

    Janie2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous, unique property! We couldn’t get enough of the deck. The water is full of seals, and it was so much fun taking the boats out to see them. I also spotted lots of bald eagles. I highly recommend the 15 minute drive to Hama Hama for oysters.

    Jen2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Amazing place.

    Joe2019-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • This house has lovely water views. Great place for moon and sunrise. Excellent location for hiking and boating in Olympic National Forest and Park and Hood Canal.

    John2019-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • The view from the living room, sun room, and deck is everything the pictures show and more. We went in the winter so weren't able to spend as much time on the deck as would like, but I could imagine spending the whole time there in warmer seasons. The whole house was very spacious, the loft was a real treat, and we had plenty of room for all six of us (four households). The beach wasn't open to any clam or oyster digging, but you could go just down the road to the state park, and you're only 15 minutes from Hama Hama. It's also not very secluded at all with neighbors directly on both sides, but it also meant a short walk to the Geoduck, which is a great local pub. All in all, it was a beautiful house, perfect for entertaining and/or relaxation!

    Mariah2019-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great view in a wonderful home. It was so comfortable and relaxing and a perfect surprise for my son and daughter and law visiting from Texas. Incredible view and sunrise and we all enjoyed the wild life-especially the seals. Easy access to nearby hiking trails and exploring area highlights. Tom was very responsive to questions. Great hosts.

    Ann2018-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time! We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks in the early morning when the tide was low, and the seals followed us all around. Great well-stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking fresh seafood from Hama Hama. Three sinks so handy for prep! Such a beautiful spot. Nearby (3min drive) Dosewallips Park was fun for finding clams and oysters. Great views and a big beautiful deck for watching the sunsets.

Lovely cabin near Triton Cove in Brinnon, WA. Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but close enough to Seattle where its not difficult to get to. Beautiful view of the Hood Canal and all the oysters you can eat. A perfect place for a family getaway, or if you're hiking the Olympic National Forest. Come relax and enjoy a wonderful time on the Hood Canal.
A picturesque cabin near Brinnon, WA. Beautiful view of the Hood Canal and minutes away from the Olympic Mountains. There is an upstairs with 2 beds (Full and twin) and a bath and a downstairs with .5 bath, bunk beds, a king and a queen size bed.

  • Matt's place was comfortable and has a great view of the Hood Canal. It was an affordable and large enough place for the whole family to come together to spend the Thanksgiving holiday. It is pretty remote from things, but this was the perfect way to focus on family time. Beware that there is a very steep ladder that connects the upper and lower floors which was a bit of an adventure to climb up and down. Otherwise a great space for a family get away!

  • We stayed at Ellen’s place for Christmas Eve/Christmas and we couldn’t have been more pleased with her place! The views were incredible, it was clean and there was plenty to do inside while the weather was less than fantastic. We did make it down to the beach which was a nice little break from being inside. The kids are already planning a trip back in summer! Ellen was great at communicating and being available if we needed her.

    Kayla2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I spent two nights at Ellen's, it was every bit amazing. Beautiful lake house with great views. Comfortable space; fully equipped kitchen. We bbq'ed on the deck. Short drive from Rocky falls. Secluded and quiet. Would highly recommend.

    Anam2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time! Honestly, the location can't be beat. The house is great: comfy beds, AWESOME decks, a nice little fire pit, and a generally really nice stay. It was a perfect place for our family to connect and spend a long weekend together. I would absolutely stay here again! While you're there, go to Hama Hama Oyster Farm- it was outstanding and probably a 10-15 minute drive max.

  • Excellent house in scenic location. Excellent host in all aspects.

    Fred2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • The location is stunning. The house is roomy and clean. The amenities were so fun. We used the beach, the fire pit, disk golf, the decks, the air hockey, the ping pong, the game cube, the Legos, and the movies. It was a great home base to enjoy the beautiful nature all around. We went on drives and hikes and enjoyed the local restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. I highly recommend this property.

    Jennifer2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Two spacious decks plus a fire pit and shared beach access mean no shortage of ways to enjoy the water and setting. The owner really went above and beyond by calling the day before our stay to see if we had any questions and offer local recommendations.

    Tess2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, views, and beach. Great DVD collection and basement games for kids, including air hockey ping-pong and indoor basketball. 2 kayaks were easy and awesome to use during our stay. We read prior reviews and brought foam mattress pads for the twin bunk beds, which we left at the house for our hosts and future guests.

  • Very good host, I had a rough day and came several hours after my check in time and he said it was no problem and showed me to my room and it was very cozy but not to little just perfect, felt like I was staying in a cabin. He wasn't loud at all upstairs and didn't disrupt me or anyting because he knew I needed to study. He even went out of his way and printed out some stuff for me which was awesome. Bed is comfortable. I like the privacy there is a door with a chain lock on your side and a chair in front of it so you can feel safe someone not barging in as well as two locks on the main entry door. You have your own bathroom that has a steam shower if you want to relax or you can just have a regular shower, shampoo if you forget and body wash, even television like not just a couple of channels and Wi-Fi worked great. This was my first experience using Airbnb and it was a great first experience.

  • Marla’s home in Brinnon was the perfect charming getaway for five of us on a long weekend! Everything was clean, well organized, easy to find, and plentiful for our needs. Well stocked kitchen with all pots/pans/utensils for cooking big meals. Lots of towels for multiple hot tub visits :) We were not expecting the dirt road leading up to the house but at an appropriate pace and with careful attention, it’s manageable in a small car (Mazda 3 made it no problem). Marla responded to our questions promptly and was happy to help. Thank you for a lovely weekend, we will be back!

  • Had a great time at this quaint secluded get away.

  • We had a memorable stay at Evolve's place. The hot-tub had a wonderful view and was perfect for our group of 6. The house was very neat and tidy and was thoughtfully done up. The hosts have stacked up a lot of amazing board games that kept us entertained for a long time. We did not have any trouble finding the place but you might want to download offline maps as we did lose cell reception when close to the place. It was a very relaxing stay and would love to visit again.

    Madeline2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This house is incredibly beautiful! The view is breathtaking and all of the bedrooms upstairs have sliding doors that open so that you can listen to the waves crashing as you fall asleep. The beach access is steep, but it’s nice to have your own space to explore the ocean and wade in at your leisure. It was also wonderful to have access to a kayak to take a spin out on the water. The deck was well furnished and was a great place to eat our meals! All of the bedrooms were well designed and spacious. The kids bunk bed room was a hit! A great way for kids to have fun! Overall, it’s an amazing house and I’d recommend it!

  • This place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful! It was really hard to leave as I felt as though I was staying at a mountain retreat. I saw deer come up and eat many times in front of the big downstairs window, such a treat! It's a great space and they are fantastic hosts! Nancy & Tom made us feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment we stepped into the house. They are very family oriented and great conversationalists. I appreciated the privacy they gave me as I work from my laptop during the day. Even when I broke an item, they were so relaxed and kind about it! The hot tub is in a perfect spot. During the day, you can see the mountains from it. We also enjoyed the spa-like shower and appreciated them letting us use their washer & dryer. I'd return again for sure! Thank you, both!

  • Second stay with Nancy and Tom. The place is spacious, clean and has amazing views. Nancy and Tom were very accommodating and flexible- I found out I needed to change my reservation due to work travel, and Nancy and Tom worked with me to get the issue resolved and reservation altered. Thanks for the hospitality Nancy and Tom!

  • Tom and Nancy are outstanding hosts. The home is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. My wife and I stayed here for 3 months for contract work and we had the best summer. The space is very comfortable and all pictures are accurate. The views of the Olympic Mountains are amazing. Tom and Nancy are very kind and excellent hosts :)

  • I cannot say enough good things about Nancy and Tom, as well as their gorgeous house! They are two of the kindest, most welcoming, accommodating and friendly people I have ever met, and their two dogs, Cricket and Indie, are awesome too! I stayed with Nancy and Tom for two months, and they made me feel right at home- even prior to me moving out to WA state, which put my family and I more at ease since I was moving across the country alone (Nancy and Tom feel like family to me now, and I’ll forever be grateful to them for that). If you’re looking for an amazing Airbnb with two super fun hosts and breathtaking views, Nancy and Tom’s place is the way to go!

    Hayley2019-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is my first experience with air bnb and Nancy and Tom made it absolutely amazing, the pictures don’t do this place justice. It was super clean the scenery was stunning and the host are the nicest / coolest people you’d ever meet. If they weren’t booked I’d stay as long as I could.

Welcome to the bright and cheerful Hazel Studio! This airy space is stylishly appointed and ready to become your home base as you visit our beautiful part of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Peninsula, and the quaint town of Poulsbo.
The Hazel Studio is one of two rental units on our property, and is located upstairs, above our garage. You'll have your own entrance, with an easy keypad lock, that will usher you into the interior stairwell. Soft glowing step lights will guide you up the stairs, even if you arrive late into the night. With vaulted ceilings, ten windows, and a clean, neutral color palette, the space is radiant regardless of the conditions outside. The ductless mini split system is super quiet, energy efficient, and will heat or cool to keep the temperature just right. If you require total darkness to get a good night’s sleep, fear not! Our custom blackout shades pull down easily to provide a dark sleep environment. If you prefer to wake naturally with the daylight, the east-facing bed nook will provide an energetic way to greet the day. The queen-sized, all-natural and certified organic latex mattress is firm, with a plush top layer to alleviate pressure points. The feather down comforter and pillows, along with the OEKO-TEX certified 100% linen bedding are thermo-regulating, high-quality, and so beautiful. *Please keep in mind that the bed is positioned up against two walls, and there is a sloped ceiling on the entry side, so this may not be the ideal space for those who are mobility challenged. The kitchenette provides you with a retro-style mini fridge, a portable, single induction burner, a convection microwave oven, and an electric kettle. As natives of the coffee-obsessed Pacific Northwest, we know it is a very personal ritual, and with that in mind we provide a few of the most classic brew methods; a Chemex pour-over carafe, and a French press. Ground coffee will be available for the Chemex carafe. We also stock a variety of teas. Our kitchenette contains the basic tools for simple meal preparation, and some staple pantry items. Lovingly collected and curated pieces furnish the Studio, and every effort has been made to maximize the small space while maintaining a gracious, open feel. Reducing our environmental impact, while providing the best possible guest experience, is a high priority for us, and we are continually seeking out ways to further this goal. You will find these efforts throughout the Studio space; from the use of natural materials in the furnishings, to compostable trash bags, and plastic-free bamboo toilet paper and laundry detergent. We clean the space using natural products and ingredients, and we prioritize zero-waste packaging. A few things to note: *This is our full-time home, and we really live here! We have help in managing our spaces when we travel ourselves, but this is a business and a lifestyle that we find incredibly fulfilling and for which we take great pride. As such, you will see us working around our yard and property, as it is a constant work in progress. We have many interests and hobbies, and so those may also be visible at times. We are always cognizant of not disturbing our guests, so noise-generating activity will typically not take place during generally observed quiet hours. *The opening of the garage doors is slightly audible, but the openers are the smoothest and quietest available, and we won’t be using them earlier than about 8:00am. *Because we live here, we also have friends and family over, and while we entertain our own guests in the private portion of our house and yard, it may at times be visible and/or audible. *We also have another guest suite listed on AirBnB, and those guests will also be accessing their own private entrance on the back side of the main house. *At this time, there is no dedicated outdoor space for Hazel Studio guests, however we hope to change this in the near future! *While there is no parking on our property itself at this time, the adjacent street parking is plentiful.
Our neighborhood is the heart of "Old Town" Poulsbo, and is perfectly positioned for so many activities! It's a pleasant, 6 minute walk to Historic Downtown Poulsbo, with its wonderful shops, restaurants, and the gorgeous waterfront park. Starbucks is a five minute walk away. There is a bus stop just two blocks from our house, from which you can catch the #390 bus to the Bainbridge ferry, and hop over to Seattle.

  • A beautiful experience at hood canal. Waterfront. On high-tide the water is right up to the property and on low tide there is a lot of sandy areas for kids to play in or walk on. The place was clean and amenities were great. Julia was very responsive and a great host. Easily reached by SMS. The place slept our group very comfortably. If you come here definitely get a fishing license, we had a feast of clams and oysters! The fire-pit outside was great and firewood was even provided! The BBQ had propane and the view from the deck was great. There was even rosemary, sage, and chives in the garden. With an apple tree with great apples. This was an amazing experience in Brinnon overall!

  • This lake house was wonderful; just steps from the water. The host was very nice and friendly. The weather unfortunately was not conducive to enjoying the lake and the things that are provided for you but it was early March so not a surprise. Would love to return in the summer. House is nicely decorated, comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommend to anyone.

  • Jeffri is a great host! He provided homemade bread and snacks to make our stay more enjoyable. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and were clean, inviting and comfortable. The adults and kids especially liked the pingpong table, games and big screen TV.

    Shannon2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived at Jeffri's home at night. The house was large, with lights, a warm fireplace, candles and a sweet bread waiting for us. Wake up to the calm lake view in the morning for a lifetime. There are three boats that can be used, many life jackets, a lot of rides in the room, daily necessities including everything, two two-meter wide double beds, good mattresses, comfortable sleeping, and quiet and friendly neighbors. There is a gas station convenience store three minutes by car, five minutes to the wildcat hiking trail, ten minutes to seaback seaside park, fifteen minutes to winco and Safeway in Bremerton, and one hour to Olympic National Park. This is a great vacation spot to explore National Park and Seattle, thank Jeffri and family for their care and love, and look forward to meeting again.

  • Marvelous getaway! Jeff is the kindest, most helpful host ever, and the home is super comfy! There are tons of amenities for enjoying the lake, kitchen appliances and all the dishes, cooking gear, etc. we needed to whip up meals, and super comfortable beds. Plenty of board games and hundreds of DVD's, so much to do indoors or out at the property, and sightseeing all around since this location is right in the middle of Kitsap Peninsula. We absolutely plan to be back. Thanks for everything Jeffri!

  • Less than 2 miles from two trailheads that have really great ORV trails. The view is beautiful. The second you walk in, you can feel the love and lake vibe. There’s so many convenient touches and even an Alexa set up so you can ask questions and get the music going. There’s Netflix and a snack bowl and the beds are so comfy...beautiful bedding and stylish place. The host was kind and attentive and also respected privacy. I was amazed at how delicious the home made bread was. We even had enough to make French toast the next day! There were games, like all the beat games...ping pong, laundry....all the best things for a weekend away. We will def be back to stay when we go dirt biking at green mountain and Tahuyeh .

Please let us know if you have something special to celebrate, such as a birthday, anniversary, or honeymoon.
  • Absolutely worth the visit! The amenities were great and the cabin was clean and neat upon arrival. Jennie and Scott were great communicators and made the process easy. We will for sure be back!

  • Relaxing little cabin in a great area. Beautiful views.

    Karissa2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Was a beautiful cabin, freshly decorated looked brand new. Wonderful amenities and nice touches like a stocked fridge with optional purchase items. Local information about things and places to see, and centrally located to everything in the Bremerton area. Ample parking and beautiful wooded lot

    Dave2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We loved being the first guests to stay at Jennie and Scott’s mountain cabin! The cabin is nice and roomy, and the accommodations are great! The coffee and tea station is wonderful to wake up to, the bed is super comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, the kitchenette was perfect for small meals and they even offered a mini bar with drinks and snacks for purchase! It was great to crack a cold beer upon arrival! Also, the Brita in the fridge was wonderful. It was nicely surrounded by trees with lots of windows to admire the outdoors. We enjoyed our weekend getaway to Silverdale!

This private, cozy cottage is perched on a hillside offering mountain and pastoral views to the west, with a private, custom waterfall bath and queen bed. There are 5 acres of mountain and sea views, extensive Japanese gardens, ponds, fir and cedar groves. This is a peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). National Forest and Park trails are ten minutes away.
The cottage is set on a hillside with beautiful westward views of the Olympic mountains. The setting is private and quiet, with guest access to the extensive gardens, ponds and water features. The cottage is about 250 square feet including the private bath. One entire wall of the cottage is glass with private views and a deck that wraps around. Inside there are warm wood floors and a custom bath that features a waterfall shower with stone from the local river. The cottage has cedar shingles and a metal roof, and is well insulated for heating and cooling. I have recently added a new kitchen (JAN 2019 with a two electric burner stove top, deep sink, waist-high fridge with freezer and microwave for my guests convenience and added independence. While individual guests and couples have found the cottage to have more than sufficient space, if you are considering bringing your dog, you may want to review again for space considerations. I've hosted a number of dogs large and small but I did have one guest who found this an issue with her large pet dog.
The cottage sits on a remote hillside with Olympic mountain and valley views. My neighborhood is populated with Douglas Fir, alder and cedar.
  • This was our second stay at Wabi Sabi Cottage. We love it and we hope to return many time over.

    Libby2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely experience staying here. Brian has built a beautiful and unique cottage, the location is peaceful and secluded and the view was great, I’d love to come back in the summer someday when everything is in bloom! The kitchen is small but perfect for making a simple meal. Brian is a generous and welcoming host. Easily the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at.

    Monica2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Brian’s place is so incredible, this was our second visit! This place is truly a gem. From the light rain falling on the roof at night lulling you to sleep to the beautiful views you get when drinking your coffee on the porch. Brian also makes the best homemade breakfast, never turn it down! I couldn’t believe that he’d even remembered after two years that I didn’t like eggs! So if you’re reading this, book a stay here. Your mind body and soul will thank you for it.

    Kimberly2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic stay in a fantastic set up in a stunning area with endless thoughtful touches.

    Libby2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet, serene, and comfy place to stay in a beautiful, natural environment. Will definitely stay here again!

    Cora2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Brian is a wonderful host and the cottage is terrific. We had a great weekend getaway and the location was perfect.

    Scott2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect, cozy getaway! The cottage is thoughtfully built and furnished, and Brian was a wonderful host - making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Don’t miss out on his delicious breakfast! Note that the kitchen is small (exactly as shown in the photos) so best not to plan on big gourmet cooking endeavors.

    Kara2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very happy with our stay at Brian's place, the space is interesting and comforting. Brian was very respectful and hospitable. Would definitely recommend.

**Formerly called Harrison Street Guest Suite in Downtown Poulsbo** Welcome to our cozy guest suite! Our apartment is stylishly furnished and ready to become your home base as you visit our beautiful part of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Peninsula, and the quaint town of Poulsbo.
Hawthorn Suite is one of two guest spaces on our property. The guest suite is attached to our home, but is accessed by a private entrance at the back of our house, and is on the ground level. The space is quiet, and cozy, with a bit of a rustic vintage vibe. In the bedroom, you’ll find a queen size bed with feather down comforter, and plenty of storage space for clothes. The living room sofa is extra deep and very comfortable, and will sleep one person, like a twin size bed. Extra bedding will be supplied if necessary. The eat-in kitchen is stocked with the basic tools and dishes, but please feel free to ask if there's anything specific you're hoping to find, and we will do our best to accommodate it! **We recently added a small Smart TV to our guest suite, but some of the older photos of the space do not reflect this. The TV is currently set up for Netflix streaming using a guest profile**
  • Britt's place was beyond ideal. I was in the area for a sports weekend and coming back to this inviting and warm place each night was exactly what I needed. Location is close enough to the main part of the very charming town to walk to one of the local breweries in the evening. I'm already planning my next weekend visit and if Britt's place is available I won't even bother looking for other places to stay.

    Sarah2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful space!

    Amir2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • My Husband and I had so much fun staying here. Britt, really thinks of the little things which was nice. The bed was AMAZING, pillows great, so comfortable. Plus she provided a fan in the bedroom! So nice. Didn't need to go hunting for anything, everything we needed was right there for our use. Very cute place, homey and inviting. We'd definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

    Sherry2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable and relaxing. It was convenient to everything and more than met our needs. We will definitely stay there again if available.

    Dwayne2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Britt’s place was exactly what my daughter and I hoped for as a jumping off point for our Poulsbo adventures. Great location, will definitely stay here again!

    David2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for 2 nights. Our stay was so comfortable. It was nice having a full kitchen to have relaxed meals in, especially since we got a good amount of snow during our stay. The puzzles and games were such a good touch and allowed us to fully enjoy our snowy evening in. Check in was very easy, the location was incredibly close to the downtown areas and a main road but still very quiet! Amazing stay!

Here on Miami Beach, or "my yummy beach" as a certain three-year-old once called it, you will have front-row seats to the grandeur of the Hood Canal where the Olympic Mountains rise majestically from the depths of the sea. Our unique cottage resort is situated right on the water's edge. Cottage #2 is the middle of three attached units.
Go for a swim at high tide, right off of the giant stone stairs. Take the kayaks or SUP boards for a spin. Take a short stroll to the neighboring state park and wander the forest trails. Have Seabeck Pizza deliver your dinner by boat.* Soak in the hot tub while watching a spectacular sunset. Fall asleep to the sound of the sea lapping on the shore only a few feet away! *seasonal; reserve in advance
Scenic Beach State Park is nearby.
  • What a beautiful place. The view is spectacular, then add a soak in a hot tub while listening to waves and staring up at the full moon!!!! We would love to stay again.

  • There is simply no beating the views at Yummy Beach. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat to unwind and relax then this is the place for you. The hosts are amazing. We booked last minute, but they went out of the way to respond quickly before, during, and after our stay. We highly recommend Yummy Beach.

  • What you can expect is one of the best views to relax to. In front of you are the Olympic mountains, and to the right you'll find a hot tub. This place is perfect to relax, meditate, and just have a great time. Enjoy what the pacific northwest has to offer. The pictures are real.

    Oleg2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This was a cute little place. Lovely views, comfy bed, great location, and communicative hosts. Be clear that this is a room in a 3 unit complex, so not totally private. Also, you share the hot tub with the other units and can only use it 4p-8a. Thought it was a great price and a wonderful area. We will be back for sure.

  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for the second time over this last weekend and we were, once again, not disappointed! We both had the pleasure of meeting DJ, the host, and he was very friendly and we could tell how much he enjoys sharing his place with others. We cannot wait to come back again soon! The location is just unbeatable and it is the perfect place to relax and get away from the lull of everyday life. Thank you so much DJ and Karen!

Come relax in this large bedroom with a great view of Wildcat Lake. Our hope is you will find this room with a queen size bed comfortable for reading or watch a movie which are available for our guest. Out side is a large deck with secluded hot tub. • We had a wonderful stay at Dean and Karen's home! Everything was spotless, the room comfortable, and the hosts unmatched in their hospitality. We had a great time in Bremerton and highly recommend their home for your stay!

    Meagan2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Come to Dean and Karen's to make new friends with your hosts as well as to enjoy: waking up to a view of a lake with Evergreens and the Olympics as a backdrop, an airbnb 'home' experience (not just a room), swimming/paddle boarding/rowing a boat on the serene lake, plenty of outdoor seating choices such as a table and chairs, chairs around a fire pit, and chairs at the end of the private dock, and a hot tub. Everything is human scale, just enough instead of too much, leaving my son and me perfectly satisfied and relaxed with a mere two night stay, and having firm knowledge that we've gained two new friends with whom we communed over s'mores, fishing, and talking.

    Amy2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Dean and Karen are outstanding hosts. We so enjoyed our time at their place - amazing view, and stellar hospitality!

    Carolyn2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Dean and Karen were wonderful hosts and their place is truly a hidden treasure . It’s just minutes from Sea Beck one of the most beautiful places you will see on earth with an abundance of oysters at low tides ! Their home was right on the lake , they let you use their boat and you could fish off the pier . There was a relaxing jacuzzi with a Veiw of the lake . Don made us an awesome breakfast and Karen could not have been sweeter ! It was better than staying at a 5 star resort . The room upstairs was very comfy and private . We will stay again next summer for sure !

    Nancy2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Dean and Karen are outstanding hosts - this is a perfect getaway and close to town.

    David2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Dean and Karen are unmatched in their hospitality and kindness. They make you feel perfectly at home and as part of the family. The lake was warm and excellent for swimming, and the room was cozy and relaxing. This is a must stay when visiting the Silverdale area.

    Jacob2019-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Really beautiful view of the lake!

    Sean2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Dean and Karen are great hosts. There when we wanted to get local info, but also left us alone to enjoy our space. The lakefront setting is idyllic. A soak in the hot tub in the morning was the perfect way to start the new day.

  • Everything you'd need all in a convenient location!

  • At Kell's studio, you will get a lovely little kitchenette with a mini side-by-side, a small washer, a small dryer, a small microwave, and a toaster oven. The platform bed is firm but comfy with a down comforter. The bathroom is roomy since there's only a stall shower. You'll get a flat screen TV, but Bainbridge Island is so beautiful, you might end up like me and never even try to turn it on. The only problem I encountered was that I had no T-Mobile cell service at this location, and T-Mobile service on the island is spotty at best. But the free WiFi was great, so I survived!

    Cynthia2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Kell's place was great! I brought my dog along with me and we came for a retreat away from the city. It was really close walk to Hawley cove park. Would definitely come out again for a retreat!

    Nancy2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Even though we never personally met Kell during our stay, he was very responsive to my messages and txts leading up to the trip and during our stay. We did not have a vehicle during our stay and the studio was truly only a 10 minute walk from the ferry ( if even that ). I definitely recommend the short walk to beach in the morning during low tide, it was in the beautiful cove with Mt. Rainier in the distance. We also walked downtown, again just a short walk, and tasted the local beers, wine, coffee, and food. The she studio was exactly as advertised, very comfortable for 2 with ample seating, a lovely fireplace which quickly warmed the entire space, a large kitchenette offering a deep sink, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster oven, coffee maker, some utensils, and a washer and dryer. The bathroom was roomier than expected for a studio. If you are a light sleeper, you could hear people upstairs, but from reading the other reviews I expected that and it did not bother us. Overall, great quality for the price and would recommend!

    Jes2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • The place was modern, efficient and very comfortable. It was a nice walk to town as well as the park and water near the house. Also very quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to go back!

  • Really cool space. Very clean. Fireplace is really nice to have. Easy walk to ferry/ downtown. Great shops supermarket. And if yer lucky a kitty named Branch...

    Tobias2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, cozy, comfortable place in a great location. There's access nearby to a trail leading to the beach. It has a gorgeous view of Mt. Rainier and the ferries coming and going. Also a super easy walk to the museum, downtown, and the ferry terminal. A great option for a stay on Bainbridge, especially if you want to do it car-free!

    Sarah2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Kell’s. It was the perfect place for a cozy weekend on Bainbridge Island, the fireplace was a lovely touch. The studio is in a quiet neighborhood, and is within walking distances of the ferry and the strip of shops. Kell was very helpful and responsive during our stay. I’d be happy to stay here again or recommend it to a friend!

  • Super cute place to stay! Loved the location, waking up in the middle of a forest. Nicole is great! Responded instantly to any message or questions I sent. Favorite was the heated bathroom floor 😍

  • Outstanding airbnb experience! Accommodations were clean, up to date and as described. The location was central and easy to find. Hosts were beyond helpful, attentive, and respectful of space and needs. I have rented many houses and have to say this experience reiterated the importance of knowing your craft, paying attention to details, and a flawless execution make all the difference. Thank you again!!

  • Nicole's place was very clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Nicole and her family live in the upper portion of her home and I honestly couldn't even tell they were there. I really appreciate the level of privacy they provided and thought the heated bathroom floor was a pretty cool feature. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking in this area.

  • Where do I start?! It was amazing! So clean, so cute and such a beautiful location. We were even so happy to have a toddler-safe/proof space with a pack-n-play to boot!!! Definitely booking here again next time we are in the area.

    Olivia2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy. The lock box proved a challenge sense I wasn't used to maneuvering the movable portions. Pillows, best I have ever used! Didn't have a stove unfortunately. But had plenty other amenities! Even heated bathroom floors!

    Ashley2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • This space was beautiful, and very comfortable. It was so quiet and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The host added some special personal touches (snacks/hot cocoa on the counter, and a personal note!) that really made our stay special.

  • Nicole has done a great job, we felt at home, the beds were very comfortable and it was extremely clean and cozy! They put a lot of thought in to making their guests feel welcome and relaxed.

  • Great place in the forest near Silverdale, Bremerton, Poulsbo, Brownsville areas. King bed, heated bathroom floor, king bed and small kitchenette make this a nice place to stay! We'll definitely look to staying here during our next visit to the area! Thank you Nicole for the kind hospitality.
