  • Lovely Shepherds hut, cosy, warm and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location, we really enjoyed Llansteffan beach and castle which is nearby. Friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. Many thanks for the delicious bread and lighting the log burner before we arrived. Hope to visit again :)

  • We came slightly later than we had originally said and were still met warmly, Andrew had already put on the stove so we arrived into a wonderful warm space. We were soaking wet coming from a walk in storm Dennis so we were especially grateful for this! We were presented with some utterly delicious home cooked bread and shown the amenities and left to it. The cabin is gorgeous, comfortable and was warm enough to dry us and beat our chills in no time. Lovely hosts and a gorgeous space.

  • The hut is immaculately clean and cosy. Every detail is perfect. It's a lovely quirky space, perfect for couples! We would have happily stayed longer, one night just wasn't enough. We were greeted warmly on arrival and even given the most delicious homemade bread which we enjoyed later with butter and jam. The cabin smells wonderful! It's been lovingly decorated and looked after. There is a pub across the road, no more than 2 minutes walking, and plenty of public footpaths nearby. I would highly recommend!

  • Cannot express how amazing this place is! Me and my partner have just spent the weekend here and loved every minute! The cabin itself is stunning , full of charm with lots of little thoughtful touches. Homemade bread on arrival was so tasty! The bed is extremely comfortable and we both had the best nights sleep! Everything you could possibly need and more. We will definitely be returning to this little gem!

  • We loved our stay in this cute and cosy hut after a long days cycle. The log burner kept us warm all night in frosty January, and the homemade bread was delicious! We look forward to staying again in the summer, to enjoy sitting outside the hut on the decking.

  • We had such a lovely time at Nicola’s place! The cottage was so lovely and cosy! Nicola had the fire going for our arrival so it was nice and warm. She was so helpful with loads of knowledge on local things to do and gave us fab recommendations for events going on. Nicola is so friendly and approachable and was there straight away if we needed anything! The cottage was completely renovated by herself and had loads of nice little touches to make it so homely. Honestly I was blown away by her skills in carpentry! We love sight seeing and we managed to see so much in one day! We went to llansteffan castle first which had a gorgeous beach and stunning views from the castle. We stopped for tea in a little cafe and sat outside soaking in the sun. We then went to tally abbey and were awestruck by the magnitude of the ruins. From there we went to dryslwyn castle and Payton’s tower which again gave us the opportunity to take in the stunning views of the countryside. We then had a quick stop off in camarthen town to see the castle and have a quick nose about the shops before heading back to the cottage for a lovely cosy night in front of the fire. Overall we had such a fabulous time! We will definitely be returning to complete our tour of historical sites that we didn’t manage to do on the Sunday due to the storm. Which is fab as it gives us the opportunity to stay with Nicola in her beautiful cottage again and get to play with her stunning dogs!

Lovely modern, family friendly apartment for rent in Llanelli, South West Wales. 2 Double Bedrooms, modern kitchen/dining room/living room, modern fitted bathroom. Sleeps 4. Towels and Bed linen are supplied so you don't need to worry about bringing your own. A really stunning apartment on the beach, super spacious, comfortable, modern, quiet and with relaxing water views both ways (from the bedrooms overlooking the sea, and the lounge overlooking the lake). It's a perfect base for exploring the area, the Gower Penninsula (surfing At Rhossili and Llangennith is fantastic), west towards Pembrey beach, Kidwelly Castle etc and lovely Carmarthenshire, or east for Swansea etc, but with the convenience of easy road or rail access and proximity to shops etc. The beach is the best in the area for kiteboarding (wide area of shallow flat water) and it is super convenient to walk straight home from the beach after a dip or a surf. It has a well equipped, luxurious modern bathroom with a powerful hot shower (complete with rainfall shower head), or if you prefer, a well-earned soak! It has a lovely modern kitchen equipped with all appliances. The lounge has two large sofas and plenty of interesting books, TV etc, it's so relaxing to stay in and relax at home! If you decide to venture out there is so much to see also. The lovely harbour town of Burry Port is only 5 minutes away by car, and the famous beaches of Cefn Sidan and the country park in Pembrey being just a little further on.
Lovely quiet area on the beachfront, away from the town centre.
  • Jonathan’s place was exactly as described and presented in the listing. We only stayed one night but it’s easy to see that the space would be a great base for a longer stay. Check in, was super easy. Jonathan provides great step by step instructions.

There is a picturesque cafe overlooking the sea a short walk away from there that I really enjoyed too. Was a very easy check in and out process. Would really recommend staying here. Thank you Jonathan!

Lovely, tranquil retreat on the road to Llansteffan, three miles from Carmarthen. The log cabin is at the far end of a large lily pond within the grounds of our three-acre garden. Features include a log burner, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and towels, DVD library, large box of games, private deck and garden area overlooking the pond, BBQ and outdoor lighting. Six miles to the coast at Llansteffan for walks along the stunning beach and up to the castle.
The log cabin is perfect for a rural getaway providing a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's a great base from which to explore south west Wales and cosy nights in with the wood burner will also help you to unwind and recharge the batteries! While the cabin is compact, the three rooms are stylishly designed for comfort as well as for practical living with everything you need to make your stay relaxing. The main room combines the living space and kitchen and features a wood burning stove (we provide all the wood you may need). The cabin is fully insulated but if you feel a bit chilly there are additional electric heaters. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook up a feast, oils and condiments provided. You will be able to settle in as soon as you arrive with a selection of teas, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits! The bedroom and bathroom are accessed from the living room; bedding, bathrobes and fluffy towels are provided for our guests. Right next to the cabin is a small, fully furnished annexe with its own entrance. It has an additional single bed and ensuite bathroom (but no kitchen). If you require use of the annexe there is a supplementary charge of £25 per night. (NB the main log cabin accommodates two people maximum).
We're on the edge of an ancient woodland and a short drive from some of the most beautiful beaches in South Wales (our nearest beach is six miles away in Llansteffan). Carmarthenshire is a wonderful county to explore: plenty of castles nearby and the Dylan Thomas heritage in Laugharne is not to be missed. There are lots of local attractions and beauty spots close by: to the west - Llansteffan, Laugharne, Tenby, Saundersfoot, St David's and of course the Pembrokeshire coastal path; to the east - National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Llandeilo, Swansea and the Gower; to the north west - Cardiganshire; to the north east - the Brecon Beacons. If the countryside or the coast doesn't provide all the entertainment you need there is even a six-screen cinema in Carmarthen, a lively market town. A 15 minute drive takes you to some of the regions top eateries: Wright's Food Emporium and Y Polyn. Carmarthen town also has a number of restaurants - we can give you recommendations. For self catering purposes there are large supermarkets as well as a Spar shop within a short drive of our home.
  • Marlene and Tony are wonderful hosts. Above and beyond with the extra touches such as a birthday bunting and card for my partner. Such a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Thank you so much xx

Is really cozy, sparkling clean and fully equipped with everything needed. We appreciate the little touches as well. It was easy to get there and to find the cabin. I cannot recommend it enough. Definitely worth to stay here. And we will be back in summer.

    Naomi2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Marlene and Tony were both amazing hosts. The cosy cabin was brilliant and by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in. The cabin is in a great location, clean and tidy with everything you need. Marlene and Tony were there if we needed them and thought of everything for our stay. Even a bottle of bubbly for NYE. It's on our list to stay again in the near future.

    Jamie2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The wooden cabin is a magical and private place to spend Christmas/New Years, the whole place was lit so beautifully when we arrived and saw the landscaper lake and grounds. Spotlessly clean, the kitchen is really well equipped and we were able to cook complete meals. The wood burning stove is a great touch and really made it cosy. Marlene went out of her way to accommodate us when we had to change dates and brought along an unexpected guest (our new pup) - very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

  • Amazing eco roundhouse, very inspiring and calming space. New mattress and wooden crafted bed was lovely to sleep on for the two nights, will definitely be booking again for a longer stay. 5*!

  • We didn’t actually with Ross as storm Dennis made the prospect of travelling too dangerous and we cancelled last minute. Ross kindly agreed to allow us to re-book another time with one night for free. Thanks Ross

  • Very nice relaxing stay

    Shaun2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The location is quite and nice! Very cosy wood fire. The bed is not very comfortable. Is a sofa bed. We moved the mattress to the floor, which was ok for two days. But, not sure if I could sleep on the floor for more nights. Ross is a very friendly and helpful host. I would really recommend this little pad for a get away from the noisy cities or as a romantic weekend away.

Need a getaway or a family break off the beaten path? Dan y Graig is a cosy, lovingly-decorated 3 bedroom cottage with a sunny conservatory, nestled in the hills close to the beautiful harbour of Burry Port. The fabulous beaches of the Gower and the renowned scenery and coastal walks of the Brecon Beacons & Pembrokeshire are all less than an hour away. In the words of a recent guest, "Beautiful little retreat from the world with stunning views." A warm Welsh welcome awaits you!
Dan y Graig was built in the 1800s by local Welsh miners. Originally a four-roomed cottage, it now has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and its own conservatory and viewing deck, which were added to catch the sunshine and enjoy views of the Gower Peninsular (when the Welsh weather permits, of course). Dan y Graig sits in front a beautiful rockery of overhanging greenery and ferns, planted by neighbours whose gardens have won national awards. The new fully-equipped kitchen, cosy bedrooms, and lazy day bed in the sunny conservatory make a wonderful place to getaway, relax and recharge. As Nicki, a guest who visited in March 2017, said: "You can still walk to the shops and the pub if needs be. The house was really spotlessly clean and we loved the fact there was no TV so it was like a proper break from reality."
Local town: Burry Port has a picturesque harbour with cafes, pubs, and coffee shops: Our personal favourite being Café Lolfa, an art gallery cum coffee shop serving delicious locally-sourced food with excellent vegan options. Theres a Nissa store (CK's) and a well-stocked Co-op for groceries. Pubs are friendly and serve great food. Burry Port Fish & Chips are particularly good, especially when eaten beside the sea or on the harbour wall. Whitford's, in the town centre serves some authentic Welsh food and is currently enjoying excellent reviews from our guests. Local beaches: If you're holidaying with young children, consider visiting places such as the Burry Port Beach (15 min walk down the hill, or 5 min drive) and Pembrey Country Park (10 min drive away). They provide endless hours of cycling, dune-surfing, and beach play. You can also ride horses, ski, barbecue, hike, and swim in the area. The award-winning Gower Peninsular is a 40 min drive away. You'll find stunning beaches and scenery, complete with prime locations to surf and hike. The Gower is unforgettable and is ideal for long days out on the coast. More info provided in our Guest Manual once you book :-)
  • We had a lovely stay at Sarah’s place. Great location and very cozy accommodations. Our 1 year old also really enjoyed the toys and teddy’s left there. Definitely recommend to others!

  • We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage is lovely and cosy, with everything we needed. It’s a beautiful location with great views and was just up the road from family which was perfect for us. I would highly recommend a stay, the beach in Burry Port is lovely and it’s an hours drive to some amazing beaches on the Gower. We look forward to our next trip!

    Simon2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful cottage with lots of space and great views. Parking is fine for one car, a bit tight for two. Great value for money. A very quiet location. Highly recommend.

  • Highly recommended host. The cottage is so nice and peaceful. Had a great family time in Burry Port

  • Perfect home for a couple of days but always remind that it is over 200 jears old! Low doorposts and a floor whitch is not always level. Very quied. The beach is nearby.

    Michel2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying at Dan-y-Craig. Its a lovely cozy house, which is very thoughtfully kitted out, especially the kitchen, which was a joy to cook in. We had a BBQ in a little passage by the side of the house, which worked brilliantly; and could even see the sea from the house. We'll be back. Only caveat is that parking is a little tight for more than one car, but we managed. Good local amenities and great location for Pembrey Race Circuit, where we were working.

    Meyrick2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cottage in a lovely part of the world. Found it easily with the sat nav, and the key box made it very easy to access the house when we arrived. The dayroom is lovely for sitting in and there are clear views of the beaches (when not raining!). The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water (the shower is not a power shower but was adequate). The house is lovely and quiet, we slept very well. There are a few nearby shops and Llanelli offers more in the way of supermarkets etc. Pembrey country park 10 mins away was great and we spent two days there at the beach, cycling, playing games etc. The Dolaucothi gold mines (National Trust) are also well worth a visit. An hours drive but worth it and the pub there served amazing food. Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would not hesitate to recommend or return. Thanks to Sarah and Vince.

INSTANT BOOK - but we operate a strict Monday or Friday changeover so providing your dates coincide with these days then you can instant book. Featured in Channel 4's, ‘The Perfect Home’ and described by Alain de Botton as ‘a meticulous recreation of an ancient farmhouse cottage, and ideal for anyone who wants to return to a vision of rural simplicity and rustic charm.’ As seen in World of Interiors and named by Sally Shalam as one of the ‘Top 10 stays of the decade’ Bryn Eglur (meaning ‘Clear Hill’) presents a purely traditional facade to the outside world, but when you push open the door into the lofty, sunlit kitchen do you realise that this Welsh cottage is a real ‘step back in time.’ Built in 1755 as a simple tyddyn (a smallholder’s cottage ) with a kitchen and parlour downstairs, two interconnected bedrooms upstairs, and a cowshed attached to one side. The two-up, two-down is still here, its tiny rooms carefully preserved and accurately restored, but the cottage now incorporates the cowshed next door which brings a modern sense of space and light to the property. • We had lovely stay at Dorian’s beautifully restored Welsh cottage. It was very peaceful and a wonderful escape from our city life. Would highly recommend a visit to unplug and to be in nature for a few days. Thank you!

    Jonty2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a brilliant long weekend at Dorian's cottage – the setting is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The cottage itself is obviously lovingly restored and furnished, and combines history with modern touches; it had everything we needed for the weekend – the kitchen in particular is really well-equipped. It's not luxurious but it's very cosy and comfortable, and Dorian is a helpful and communicative host. Very much recommended – we'd love to come back and explore the area some more.

    Hannah2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Bryn Eglur provides the perfect escape from the modern world and transports you back to another time. The house has an amazing feel to it, one of peace and tranquillity. Dorian's passion for the traditional Welsh way of life is evident in the wonderful antiques that he has furnished the cottage with. We loved the fact that you can still use the Victorian range to heat the sitting room making it cosy and inviting. We will certainly be returning for a second visit.

    Jane2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing, dreamy space, Bryn Eglur is loveliness incarnate. Set in a quiet bit of rural land, the house is beautiful within and without. I will dreaming of my next visit!

  • Such a unique and special experience to stay in an old farmhouse. The property was gorgeous, peaceful, and private. The home was cozy and relaxing, exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended.

  • We stayed at the Cwtch for one night and it was a fantastic stay! Great view, location, lots of local tips and walking routes! We went to a local pub which was recommended by the owners and had a lovely Sunday lunch. Nice touches with the welsh cakes and milk when we arrived! Hot tub took a while to get heated but once it was warm it was lovely! Would definitely recommend!

  • We had a lovely, cosy weekend! Perfect for anyone looking to relax enjoy the great outdoors! Would highly recommend!

    Florrie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Despite nearly being blown away by Storm Dennis and the accompanying 60mph gusts of wind, we had a wonderful time at The Big Cwtch! The facilities are excellent, the bed was much bigger than we expected and so comfy and the full length window was lovely for watching the changing scenery. We didn’t manage to get the hot tub going due to the high winds and rain/hail so we will definitely stop by again when we travel nearby in the future.

    Emma2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely stay at the hut. The hosts were easily contactable and really welcoming. The hut tub was a lovely touch despite the weather. Will be returning, thank you

    Georgia2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The hut has everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay! The hot tub is brilliant, and the log burner is very straightforward to use. There are instructions for the log burners, as well as useful tips and local sightseeing. The views are stunning!! I cannot recommend enough!!

    Rachel2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a weekend. Amazing amenities. The hot tub is an especially nice touch to the place. Lovely staying in the warm water with a picturesque view. Would definitely come back.

  • Lovely stay, very comfortable and clean!

    Sarah Beth2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A really special place to stay ! We had a lovely time at the big Cwtch ! A warm welcome from Peter who gave us directions to the accomodation and then came along to make sure everything was okay with the place. The place was really cosy, nicely furnished and clean and exactly what we was after. The hot tub was amazing ! We spent the evening in there after it heated up and was so relaxing. Even though the weather outside was blowing a gale the hot tub was really warm. We even got in there in the morning and it was still warm, only a couple of logs to re heat. All in all the stay was really special a nice quiet location and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely recommend. Thanks

  • Celia was a fantastic host , she was there to greet us on arrival and had pre contacted us to know what time we would be there , she let us walk in her very large gardens and explained the views over the estuary were great at the top , she also explained about how to walk down to the beach and also checked ferry crossing times to . There were cereal yoghurts bread and milk and orange juice in the fridge which was a lovely touch . She advised of where to eat and places of interest to visit , beautiful location and we would definitely love to stay here again , great base to go off exploring the west from ,

    Elaine2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely breakfast touches, local jam and butter and a good choice of cereals plus fairtrade coffee. Plentiful outside area and the swing at the very topwas awe-some. You felt like you were flying! Thanks Celia, definitely be coming back!

  • We had a wonderful time at Celia's place. The location is superb. It has breathtaking views of the river estuary. Very close to the beach. Quite remote and offers a unique and restful stay. The facilities were just what is required. It was very clean and has all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. Celia provided very good and nutritious breakfast. We loved the locally baked bread it was very tasty. We used Celia's place to make short trips around the area such as the National Botanical Gardens, Dylan Thomas's shed in Laugharne, Tenby and so on. We wished our trip could have been longer as this is a beautiful area of Wales, perhaps we can visit again in the near future.

The room is large with all the comforts you would expect and there is a TV on which you can watch DVD's whilst relaxing in bed. Llansaint is a small village steeped in history and was once famous for the cockles that were harvested from Carmarthen Bay for many centuries. The tradition was of women supplementing the household income by gathering by hand and then transporting the shellfish on donkeys, this only came to an end in 1973. "Any man marrying a Llansaint cockle-woman was considered a lucky man and set up for life." Nowadays sad to say, if you want live cockles you will have to harvest them yourselves:-) Please note that the nearest shop's are in Kidwelly (again steeped in history with the infamous haunted castle) less than a 10 minute drive away from Llansaint. But more importantly the local public house in Llansaint still exists and is not only the hub of the community, it has a genuine friendly atmosphere and all are welcome. Serving delicious food either in the bar or restaurant, the steaks are highly recommended, you can also order most things from the menu to take away including Sunday lunch. (Closed Monday's) Visit the Kings Arms Llansaint website for more information on opening times and menu.

  • The caravan has a lovely location facing the Estuary, it was very relaxing for the families to enjoy breakfast on the decking. The caravan is as shown on the pictures. Jen is a great host, she prepared the pass for the holiday park for us and answer all questions immediately.

    Sally2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a spacious caravan with amazing views over the estuary towards Pembury. The caravan has everything you need for a long stay and is located at the quieter end of the park away from main entertainment. Jen was a very conscientious host who really cared that we enjoyed ourselves and relaxed - we did! We were lucky with the weather, but recommend short trips to Burry Port or Pembury or Llansteffan if you want a really nice day at the beach. Loads to do locally in villages or beyond if you don't mind exploring.

    Sally And Richard2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at this caravan for 4 days, found when arrived, it was a lovely caravan with great views in a really good location to explore the wider area. Right next to a lovely village Kidwelly with a castle recommend to visit. Also Pembroke national park/beach not far away a must visit. All in all a great place to stay. We also paid for the onsite entertainment passes. If your planning on using them every night and with the onsite pool it’s worth it but other not really cost effective and you only get to use the pool in a very limited time only 30 minutes you can then stay in but you have to pay to stay, or wait till the afternoon before you get to use again for another limited time.

  • The house was beautiful, lovely and warm and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after our long walks. The log burner added that extra touch to make the house cosy in the evening. The host Peter was very friendly and added that special touch with chocolate's and a dozen free range eggs from the farm on arrival which we had for breakfast everyday. I would thoroughly recommend this house to anyone looking for a high quality stay with fantastic walks and the tranquillity of the countryside. 5 stars all the way 👌

  • Very cosy cottage in perfect location for peaceful holidays. The view is amazing. There was all amenities we needed in kitchen. Nice designed bedrooms, very clean and warm. Enjoyed the fireplace and hot tube. Only one thing I wasn't excited about that cottage is next to the rail. During day time it's totally fine just at the night time it was too noisy for me, but no one else have noticed it from my family so I assume if you sleep well you won't hear anything.

Hafan Bach is a spacious and well equipped cottage in the historic township of Kidwelly, halfway between Llanelli and Carmarthen. There's shops, pubs and takeaways all in easy walking distance as is the 900 year old Castle. The beach & Pembrey country park are a short car drive away The cottage is a 3 bed terrace with large open plan kitchen diner and relaxing lounge. French doors from the dining area open out onto an enclosed dog friendly garden. Outside seating area & undercover BBQ area
Many guests first comment on arrival is that the cottage is much larger than they expected. We have worked hard to make the cottage a relaxing and welcoming space, upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and one single, the double bedrooms both have a TV. The upstairs bathroom has a cabin shower with monsoon shower head and body jets, there is a heated towel rail. Downstairs is a large open plan fully equipped kitchen dining room which leads out through double doors into the garden. The kitchen has a large range style gas cooker, easy to use microwave, full size fridge freezer and a dishwasher. The downstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over. To the front of the cottage is a relaxing living room with 2 sofas and giant bean bag, perfect space to snuggle down in front of the telly after a long day exploring the area. There is a small utility room with washing machine and tumble drier
The cottage is on the edge of Kidwelly offering the convenience of all the local amenities whilst being quiet and peaceful. Co-op, pharmacy, vet, pubs, coffee shops and take aways all in walking distance. Fantastic walking and cycling direct from the cottage and a view of the norman castle from the front door. The popular towns of Tenby, Saundersfoot and LLandeilo, the stunning Brecon Beacons, Brechfa forest and Gower peninsula and Swansea city are all within an hours drive
  • A clean, homely cottage, with a stunning garden. Really felt like a home from home.

  • Just come back from a fantastic few days stay at Hafan Bach. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 dogs, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful, bigger than it looks, and spotless. The little touches of the welcome items such as Welsh cakes, wine and dog biscuits were so thoughtful. By far our favourite part of the house was the garden, which was so beautifully cared for, and again really nice and big! We spent every minute we could out there when the sun was out! Check in was nice and simple via a key safe, and Terri was very quick to respond to messages when we needed to ask things. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone, but especially those with dogs! Thanks Terri!

  • Beautiful, cosy space, directly opposite Kidwelly castle. A lot bigger then the pictures let on.

  • We couldn’t have asked for more from this home. It was perfect for a few nights away - clean, comfortable and with all of the necessary equipment needed. It was all there for us, including a lovely well-kept garden which the children and dog enjoyed. We could easily relax, having made the most of the local walks and the castle, all within close proximity. Thank you to Terri who was very welcoming and accommodating during all correspondence x

  • Second time we have stayed here and loved it. The house was immaculate and we received excellent communication. The garden is brilliant and the dogs loved it.

    Adam2019-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay. This cottage has been delightfully styled to have all the modern luxuries without losing the character of the cottage. Where else can you open the front door of where you stay and look at a castle !

  • We had a lovely stay at Terri's charming cottage in Kidwelly. The house had everything we needed for the weekend. It was comfortable and warm and we felt totally relaxed there. The dogs had a lovely time, the garden is perfect as it's large and secure. There's plenty to do in the area, the beaches are stunning, particularly Cefn Sidan, well worth a visit. I would definitely recommend Terri's cottage and will hopefully come back again soon. Thanks Terri! :)

    Sally2018-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing property which is even better than the pictures do justice. Kidwelly is a brilliant place to explore this part of Wales. The house is super cosy and such a relief that it is so dog friendly. Terri is a great host and although we didn't meet was always on hand to respond to queries. M4 traffic woes were the only downside of an amazing weekend. Would highly recommend. Many Thanks

Set in the beautiful village of Llansaint, situated on the stunning South West Wales coastline, where the Welsh Coastal path passes right through, Situated between Rhossili Bay, Gower Peninsular and Pendine Sands with beaches only 1.5 miles at Ferryside and Pembrey country park only 4 miles away, Dog Rose Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind for you and your family and is also dog friendly. Please read all information before making your booking. Thank you.
The Old cottage was built around 1880 and was a small 1 up and 2 down dwelling. it has been extended over the years, in to the lovely place it is now.
The stretch of beach from St Ishmael to Ferryside was the epicentre of the cockle trade a century ago – there are some fascinating pictures in the King’s Arms. Apparently the men would work on the land or in the coal mines and the women and children would harvest cockles. This led to a strongly matriarchal society where the women controlled much of the wealth and owned much of the property in the village. To collect the cockles they would use nothing more than a rake and sieve; this carried on until the last of the Llansaint cockle ladies called it a day in 1973. To collect the cockles they would use nothing more than a rake and sieve; this carried on until the last of the Llansaint cockle ladies called it a day in 1973. All Saints’ Church dates back to the 12th century, the tower was added in the 14th and – like many along the coast – is painted white as an aid to ships’ navigation, and two early Christian inscribed (Ogham) stones were found within the church's wall fabric during restoration in 1862, and were rebuilt into the south wall. These commemorate two 6th century Irish priests named Cimestle Avicat and Vennestl. A holy well, Ffynnon Saint ('Saint's Well') is located some 300m to the north east. The church is first mentioned in documents around 1115 at which time it belonged to Sherborne abbey, Dorset. In 1141 it is thought that it was granted to Gloucester cathedral. Subsequently St Ishmael's and Llansaint was granted to the Bishop of St David’s by John of Gaunt in 1368. After the dissolution they to the Crown. In 1833 Llansaint was a discharged vicarage in the patronage of the King, and a formal chapel of ease to St Ishmael's. All Saints is a Grade II listed building. constructed of limestone, Old Red Sandstone and rubble stone, with yellow oolite (egg stone) dressings. It consists of a two-bayed chancel, three-bayed nave, single-bayed north transept, west tower, vestry (south of the chancel's west bay) and generator house (between the west vestry wall and nave). The nave and chancel are thought to be medieval as are the square recess in the east wall and a similar one beneath the south window. The west tower dates from the late fifteenth century. It has three storeys and connects to the belfry via a stair set into the south wall, entered from the churchyard. Two blocked windows, in the sanctuary north wall and the south wall, are thought to be seventeenth century.
  • If anything, the pics don’t do it justice. Immaculately clean and stylish - but very homely and comfortable. All the kit is in excellent condition, everything is thought of, from dishwasher to cafetière to Sky TV. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough, and Percy is very friendly. One of our favourite ever Air BnB’s.

  • Beautiful cottage with really lovely decor and spotlessly clean. Has everything you could possibly need and fresh milk was delivered on arrival! There is a beautiful view just a short walk down the lane and the village pub is wonderful. Would love to return one day.

  • We have just returned from a very memorable 5 night stay. The drive to Wales was quite a long one so we wasn’t sure what to expect on arrival as some times you do get a shock. This property is almost in the middle of nowhere but it was what we wanted. On arrival there is a parking space for 1 car and entry is by a side door of the property and the key is left in a key safe on the side of the house. On entering the first instinct was how clean it was and also how clean it smelled. We entered on the side of the house and you are immediately in the kitchen. At the end of the kitchen is a bedroom with bunk beds and to the right is a shower room and a hallway leading to a double ensuite bedroom. This bedroom has a TV with Netflix only. Turning left out of the kitchen you then enter the lounge / dining room. There are 6 chairs and a table. There are two lovely green sofas with a log burner ( logs supplied for when we arrived ) a lovely TV with Netflix and several Sky TV programmes. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are just off this room and there is a large double bedroom upstairs with a digital radio and two velux windows. The kitchen has everything that you will need from a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, kettle and lots of utensils. The small village itself is very quiet, very friendly locals and very little noise. This property has heating in every room and you cannot get cold. There are no shops but a really nice pub 100 yards away called The Kings Arms which is a great place to pop into for a drink and even to watch good old Sky Sports. Highly recommend this property, you cannot go wrong.

  • This is our second stay in Percy’s beautiful cottage. Perfect for an event held in Pembrey Forest. The location is stunning, house beautiful and comfortable, welcome warm and dogs made to feel right at home. The pub down the road is also amazing. So friendly and great food. We’ll be back again next year.

    Mari2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay with Percy and David. The property was so lovely and quaint. Everything we needed was available and much more. We went to local pub for food early Saturday evening and booked as advised, good job we did as it was very busy but the food and service was excellent. Everyone was very welcoming and it was very warm with the fire roaring. As for the area Pembrey country park is gorgeous the beach is excellent and we also were able to take kids bikes and the rode around for ages. We also went to Llansteffan the beach was also very lovely and we all really enjoyed cockle picking and shell collecting. We also walked up-to the castle on the hill which was great the views were perfect. We would visit again we loved our January 2020 break away

  • Amazing cottage to stay in, very homely and amazing hosts!

    Lucy2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot recommend Dog Rose Cottage highly enough. This is a cosy, thoughtfully decorated and very-well managed cottage. Percy is a wonderful host; friendly and helpful. The arrival gift of wine and a hand-written card made us feel welcome from the start. The cottage is stylishly decorated with every consideration given to the wants of the visitor (even down to the seasonal - Santa and snowman - soap dispensers in the shower-room). Our party of six stayed a couple of days, enjoying long walks along the grey, misty, atmospheric coastline, followed by evenings relaxing in front of the log-burner, watching movies on the HD television and chatting. Just a lovely stay in a great location.

  • I needed a place over Christmas in west Wales for my husband, myself and baby plus father in law. This listing was amazing. We really appreciated the extra christmas touches. The kitchen was stocked enough to do a nice dinner and there was enough space for everyone. The log burner in lving room made it extra cozy in the lovely wet weather and we really appreciated the extra wood. The upstairs room was very spacious for us with a baby and included a cot. The downstairs bedroom has an ensuite which was perfect for my father in law for his own space without stairs. We had 2 dogs with us and there was enough room to keep them blocked in the kitchen or in the garden. The garden doesnt have a door directly to the house but it is just a few metres away from the front door and easy to keep tabs on them from kitchen. The local pub is fantastic, super friendly locals and definately a highlight of the trip. It is located within driving distance of plenty of walks, including on the coast. The hosts were super friendly and answered any questions quickly. Definately reccomend! Thanks for everything!

A stylish private room (king size or twin beds) on the top floor of a beautiful period home set in a large mature garden and overlooking the beach and historic Llansteffan Castle. Situated in the charming seaside village of Ferryside, just a five minute walk from the train station, the local shop, café and pubs and a stone’s throw from the beach. Also an ideal base for exploring local attractions – (castles, beaches, gardens, walks) - or simply for relaxing in a peaceful and inspirational place.
Brondeg is an imposing and much cherished three storey period home situated on the cliff in Ferryside overlooking the ever changing panorama of the River Towy estuary. The top floor of the house is reserved for our guests and is completely private with exclusive use of bedroom and bathroom. Guests are also encouraged to enjoy our beautiful grounds, perhaps admiring the stunning views on the terrace or maybe enjoying breakfast alfresco by the pond in our secret garden, which adjoins the dining room. Tea and coffee facilities are available and there is also a wash basin in the room complete with toiletries for your use. For when not admiring the amazing view from the window seat there is a freeview television with Netflix and fast BT Infinity 1 broadband as well as a range of board games. The adjacent bathroom features luxurious gold fittings, including a large shower, wash basin and WC. An iron and ironing board can be provided in this room if needed. The breakfast room is on the ground floor and we offer a delicious and nutritious continental breakfast in lovely surroundings.
The village of Ferryside is around 5 minutes away from the local town of Kidwelly and 15 minutes away from the market town of Carmarthen, which has larger stores, pubs and restaurants. Ferryside is a busy little village with its own village shop, post office, pub, café and railway station, which has direct trains to London, Manchester and Cardiff. There is now also an exciting new ferry service over to the attractive village of Llansteffan. This operates from the beach, weather and tides permitting. There are so many places to explore nearby: Kidwelly, with its Norman castle, Pembrey Country Park and Motorsport centre, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Dylan Thomas’ Laugharne, Ffos Las Racecourse and Llanelli Wetland Centre to name but a few.
  • Exceptional B&B in an amazing setting with views over the sea and Llansteffan Castle. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Brenda and Norman are very welcoming. The bedroom is extremely well equipped, with a large comfortable bed, TV and private shower room alongside. The breakfast was divine with fresh fruit cocktail, toast with a choice of home made marmalade or jam, yoghurt and cereals. All set out in the character dining room. A beautiful house in close proximity to the beach and a cliff walk.

  • Nicki was one of the most welcoming people I have ever come across. Her home was set in a beautiful location and no expense was spared when helping us with local attractions to do and see, from food and restaurant suggestions in and around ferryside, information on the local Ferry crossings and suggestions on sites and places of interest further afield. The property itself was welcoming, homely, very comfy beds, hot shower, delicious breakfast, including freshly baked sourdough bread and a stunning view over the welsh seaside. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back. Thanks Nicki for everything.

  • Emily’s place was great. I had a lovely relaxed time with my family. I did do some research into the park before going. Yes it is small and not much to entertain the kids in the day. But my kids would rather run silly in the outdoors. Having a car definitely helped to get out and see the area. Emily’s chalet was lovely and family friendly. Nice modern Decor, well equipped, beds made up. Kitchen well equipped, very clean. The chalet is very close to the estuary (with a beach). communication with Emily was spot on.

A premium, picture perfect beach/estuary facing 1850's welsh stone cottage. Modernised whilst respecting its heritage. Open fires, electric Aga, Melin Tregwynt woollen blankets, Welsh antique furniture and art. Superfast wifi. One minute to beach. Castles and long walks are short drive away. Situated in the village, just 7 mins walk from the train station and beach. Direct trains from London, Manchester and Pembrokeshire. Suitable for singles, couples and dogs, but regrettably, not children.
Gothic Villa is a pretty cottage, full of character. It has been sympathetically restored, whilst maintaining its historical charms. The upstairs sitting room allows you to admire the sea and estuary views as far away as Caldey Island in Pembrokeshire. There is an open fire in the sitting room and a wood burning stove in the downstairs parlour, as well as central heating and instant hot water. Logs are provided for cosy evenings in front of the fire, watching the lights come on across the estuary. The Aga is easy to use and a real essential for the slow living that Gothic Villa encourages. Aga cookbooks are provided for Aga novices. There is also a dishwasher. We have BT infinity broadband, but mobile signal is patchy. The house has a landline. There is a freeview tv and bluray DVD player, and DAB radios provided. The garden is to the front of the house, and is relatively private. We have designed the garden along the lines of a traditional cottage garden. The garden is west facing, and something of a suntrap. The castle at Llansteffan is directly opposite the house across the estuary. A dining table and chairs allow for alfresco eating and there is also a fire pit on the terrace to help eke out long summer evenings. Please be aware that local byelaws prohibit the lighting of fires outside before 7pm, and please be considerate to our neighbours if they have washing out and the wind is in the wrong direction.
Ferryside is a thriving village, with a pub, fish and chip restaurant, school, postoffice, yacht club, village stores and its own lifeboat. The beach is estuarine and so can get muddy, but it is possible to swim at high tide. The local Co-Op supermarket is three miles away in the nearby town of Kidwelly and has all that you will need. Larger stores such as M&S, Morrisons and Tesco are available in our local market town, Carmarthen, 15 minutes' drive or train ride away.
  • We had a fantastic stay at Gothic Villa over the New Year. The cottage offers everything you need, great kitchen facilities and the open fire upstairs is lovely and cozy. The location is also everything we expected - a minutes walk to the nearest beach and a short drive to numerous walks and places of interest. We loved it!

  • We had a lovely time at Gothic Villa. It’s a beautifully furnished, stylish and charming property with wonderful views, more space than you may expect with 2 good double bedrooms, A first floor living room with Seaviews, kitchen/Open Plan to dining room, extra living room perfect for reading, spare room to pop suitcases in out the way, stylish bathroom including freestanding slipper bath, and another bathroom just outside which also houses the washer and dryer. Its a real home from home with everything you could want or need, from a wonderful Aga, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fireplaces, decent TV, WiFi, Stylish furniture, Great art and ceramics, throws, and even smart dog Beds! Also plenty of private parking. We stayed in December so enjoyed going for walks on the beach and then returning to the house for Hot chocolate in front of a cosy fire in the living room while looking out onto the sea - perfect! Highly recommended and look forward to returning soon.

  • As other reviewers have noted, this is an exception BnB. Decorated with the utmost sensitivity and care, to the highest aesthetic standards, it feels more like a beautiful and coveted private home than your typical holiday rental. Every detail of the house reflects the owners' respect for Welsh traditions of architecture and design, from the stunning regional ceramics to the well-chosen local artworks and the gorgeous Welsh rugs, quilts, and elegant furniture. The garden is beautifully designed and tended to. The kitchen stocked with high quality utensils. Bed linens, it probably goes without saying, are super high thread count. Staying at Gothic Ferry feels like you have been given the keys to a glorious private home-meets boutique hotel of the highest order. Watching the sun sink over the horizon across the water, with a gin and tonic made with the owners' zesty organic Jin Talog, all stresses melted away. Ferryside itself is a gentle unassuming estuary town. Everyone we met, from the dog watchers on the beach to the locals in the pub, were friendly and (true to Welsh stereotype?!) chatty! The beach is on an estuary and gets quite muddy. We loved it - my partner even catching some good sized bass from the rocks - but for classic white sanded beaches, the awe-inspiring eight mile Pembrey beach, with across Carmarthen Bay, is a 20 mins drive away. We will be back!

  • If you are looking to escape from the world and slow life down to a more recognisable pace...this is the place to go. Beautiful garden and home. Lovely village and a view that you will carry in your heart for many years to come.

  • Gothic villa is a fantastic house, every room is beautifully presented, cozy, welcoming and stylish. Days spent walking on the beach, which is a few minutes walk, evenings spent in the beautiful sun trap garden looking out to the castle on the hill with a glass of wine was perfect. It was our honeymoon and felt Anthony went above and beyond and insured we felt welcome and relaxed. He left loads of tips for things to do, places to eat etc he really is a super host. Bravo. We could go on and on about our stay, we had such a great time. We’ll definitely be back!!

    Ben2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is a classy property in a good location. Great beaches and historic castles are all close at hand. Our host Anthony made all the arrangements super easy.

    Philip2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house and garden - we went in July - were just as lovely as I hoped they'd be from the description and photographs. We came to be quiet and do some writing, filming and thinking and it was the perfect place. We loved the estuary, and the trains, and the friendly people, and the Pryd O Fwyd was a perfect local restaurant - we loved the combination of post-institutional setting and amazing food. And we followed up with a similar experience at the Cafe 4 in Carmarthen, amazing food again (but the setting was less unique and we couldn't walk home). Visiting Dylan & Caitlin Thomas' last home together was amazing - a really lovely place open to the public without any of the usual National Trust-type branding getting in the way. Back in Ferryside, I loved reading about our hosts' local art collection hanging in the house. A special time and, when we had questions Anthony was helpful and quick to respond.

    Felicity2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Gothic Villa looks lovely in the photos but it looks even better in real life. Anthony’s communication was friendly and concise. And his book for Gothic Villa was encyclopaedic. Anything and everything you want to do around Ferryside is there for you to enjoy. Stunning walking from Dylan Thomas’ tea room to the landscapes of llyn y fan fach. The sitting room had a lovely view over the estuary and over to Llansteffan which you could not fail to enjoy and The garden was pretty and so quiet. Hopefully we can come back soon.

    Chris2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • I thought the trip would be a nice little break but nothing too memorable. I was wrong and it was magical. Loved every minute, and my husband who usually complains constantly about nature, loved it too.

    Kim2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect! We wanted something cozy and quirky, and this fit this criteria exactly. The host was very accommodating - we were able to add an extra night to our booking quite late, and arrived early but were still able to access the cabin. The hot tub was spot on, and the whole site felt well cared for. A lovely getaway from the real world, with great access to South Wales and the Pembrokeshire coast. 100% would recommend.

    Diane2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here with my boyfriend and we had the best time. The hot tub was great and the hosts were so helpful and prompt with responses. Loved the layout of the tiny house and was actually a lot bigger than we expected it to be. Will definitely return!

  • Truly lovely. Spotlessly clean, tasteful decorated, very thoughtful touches - including a breakfast tray with some complimentary jams, drinks and nibbles. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater. We felt very welcome. The property was easy driving distance to the main road, but set back enough that it felt quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay, would definitely recommend.

  • The accommodation is perfect lovely sized living/ kitchen area for 2 people and our dog. Plenty of lovely walks and places to visit near by. The dog exercise area was fantastic added extra didn’t expect it to be so big Chloe loved running around in it each evening after racing. We were in the Wales for the weekend racing at the cani-x Canicross weekend at pembrey and it was so nice to have such a lovely place to stay and chill out each afternoon/ evening after racing. The cooking facilities were great and made it so easy to make meals etc each day. And the dishwasher and washing machine were great added bonuses 😊 The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were a lot bigger than they looked in the photographs.

Ideal location in a woodland setting, a perfect base to explore Carmarthenshire. A small one up, one down, compact, rustic, cozy, detached cottage set in a rural quiet location, next to a brook. There is a pub within a 5-minute walk. Warm in front of the log burner in the winter or relax on a sun-filled patio in the summer. 8 miles from the Wales oldest town, Carmarthen, close to Pembrey country park & superb Beach, Ffos Las Racecourse, Kidwelly Castle, Llansteffan & Botanic gardens
The cottage is compact and quaint with everything you need for a relaxing visit to Wales. The cottage has one bedroom with a double bed, a small shower room , a kitchen lounge with dining a table and a log burner. Dvds only. Outside are views over the valley, a patio area looking on to the brook and a chiminea. There are 2 dogs at the property but they do not have access to Brook Cottage. Please note.. The cottage is situated right on a lane, it is very quiet but care must be taken when entering and leaving the cottage.
The cottage is perfectly located, an enjoyable leisurely stroll down the lane over an ancient bridge and river to the local pub. We recommend the local pub, the food is home cooked and the locals don't bite :) There is a shop a mile and a half away with a post office, petrol, and chemist. Also, there are some good places to eat within a 2-mile radius plus very good taxi service. There are many places to visit, the National Botanical gardens are a short drive away and Carmarthen holds the Antique fairs once a month at the Carmarthen showground. The Cynheidre Railway is 2 miles away for railway enthusiasts. You can go further a field, Tenby is only 45 minutes away and a visit to Narberth is a must. The Ffos Las racecourse holds many events each year and is hugely popular. Closer by LLanelli wetlands are worth a visit and so is Burry port with its new Lifeboat station and great fish and chips. Pembrey country park 5 miles away has everything, acres of woodland to cycle, a fabulous Beach framed by sandunes. The renown Glynn Abbey golf course is 2 miles away,

  • Just wow, lovely hosts in a friendly village, great location base for days out. Great value little cottage.

    Rob2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Keri was there to greet us and showed us around the cottage - she was very welcoming and gave us lots of info about the local area and recommended some days out. The cottage is very cosy, just what we wanted and better than we had expected. They had put out some wine and fresh flowers which was a lovely touch. The cottage has everything you need in the compact space - they have thought of everything! We chilled out by the fire and watch a film, had breakfast in bed and the cottage also has a nice patio area with a BBQ which we used one evening. We used the log burner and Keri was quick to offer help with this. We did lots of exploring but also spent time relaxing and chilling out in the cottage. We went to the Incline Inn for dinner one evening (10 mins down the road walking) and they were very friendly and the food was delicious. We also had a carvery on the Wednesday at the rugby club which again was delicious (about 5 min drive). We visited Kidwelly castle - can explore the castle and has lovely views. Burry Port which has a beautiful sandy beach. The botanic gardens which had an incredible bird show and The mumbles in Swansea which is a pretty costal town. Overall we have a lovely stay at the cottage and would love to return. Thank you so much for having us.

  • My partner and I wanted a little child-free break, and we both had a wonderful, relaxing and chilled out time at Little Brook Cottage. The setting was charming, I enjoyed a peaceful cup of tea sitting outside in the morning, listening to the birds and the brook, it was blissful. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Keri and Kev. They are such generous, kind, and warm hearted people, you can tell from the minute you meet them that they really want you to enjoy your stay and will do all to accommodate you. There were some lovely touches on arrival, fresh flowers and a bottle of wine, which really made it all feel very special. We have returned home feeling relaxed and will always remember the visit fondly. Nearby Pembrey Beach was amazing and we also managed a mooch around the lovely shops in Narberth. All in all, a beautiful few days which were enhanced all the more by Keri and Kev's wonderful hospitality.

  • I stayed at Jon and Moira's for one night with my partner and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area. Before arrival we were sent detailed directions which came in very handy. Jon met us on arrival and was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable straight away (we were also greeted by their lovely pets who were very sweet). Their house is beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed for a nice stay, including a book of useful information for our stay which was very well thought out. We had good access to parking at the property and were in a good location not too far from the town centre. We would highly recommend a stay here!

  • Jon, Moira and of course the beautiful Riley were extremely friendly and helped us to settle in well. It was extremely well located for Many Tears, the animal rescue we drove over 7 hours to visit. It was nice to get somewhere that was like a home from home. The area was very peaceful leaving us with undisturbed sleep and the shower in the morning was great, which for us is always important as were the amenities. I would highly recommend

(LAUGHARNE BARNS) The Barns are ideally situated just outside Laugharne ( 1.5 miles) with pubs, places to eat and lovely walking routes. Pendine is 5 minutes away with its safe bathing and glorious miles of soft golden sands. Further along the coastal route is Amroth and Saundersfoot where there is access to the beach for swimming, plus a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. • Lovely stay with friends and kids, house was really well equipped and a lovely welcome hamper, amazing value and sparkling clean. Pendine is an amazing beach and Laugharne is fab for rock pooling. Thanks and we hope to see you again

  • The Barn was absolutely beautiful and Robert was a fantastic host. He made sure that we had everything we needed and and kept us well informed before our arrival. The Barn was very spacious but homely feeling and was absolutely spotless. The welcome pack on arrival was a really nice treat after a long journey as well, full of lots of local welsh goodies! The weekend was booked as a surprise for my Dads 50th and the whole experience of staying at the Barn really made his birthday. The location of the Barn is perfect as you really feel as though you are escaping all of the hustle of bustle of normal life. I will definitely be looking to stay here again and already can’t wait to go back!

  • What a fantastic holiday cottage for our first mini family holiday away. The place was spacious, clean, warm and very peaceful. It was the ideal setting to relax and unwind. We were extremely lucky with the weather and managed a few dry and sunny days out to Tenby and Laugharne itself. I highly recommend this cottage whether you're a couple looking to get away for a couple of nights or a big family holiday getaway . There's plenty of room! Robert is a great host and he couldn't have done more for us. Super quick with replying as well. Cheers

  • Lovely place, great spot for Pendine beach just a few miles away, spotlessly clean on arrival, Robert was always in touch and nothing was too much trouble, lovely welcome pack on our arrival. Really enjoyable stay.

Lovely, double bedroom in family house. Ideal for walkers and dog lovers On the Wales Coast Path between Llansteffan and Llangain 5 miles from Carmarthen On the B4132 between Llangain and Llansteffan - location marker is not in quite the right place!
  • Absolutely faultless. Beautiful, clean and comfortable - having a gorgeous little en-suite is a huge bonus. Bridget is a really lovely, welcoming host who really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Lovely natural yoghurt & blueberries for breakfast included. Fantastic value. Great, clear directions and quiet location - I would not hesitate to recommend!

  • Stay for two nights whilst away with work. Very comfortable, clean, warm and friendly. Lots of great little extras I wasn't expecting. Bridget was very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

  • Very warm welcome from Bridget. I booked only a few hours before arrival but communication was great and the room was spotless. Having the use of a private sitting room was great - log burner and TV - and Bridget was very happy for me to have my bottle of wine in there. About 10 mins from Camarthen and few minutes drive to beautiful beach at Llanestan.
