Our 80 sqm apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, directly below King Ludwig II's fairytale castle Neuschwanstein and overlooking the castle Hohenschwangau. In 15 minutes you are on foot at the Alpsee and on the ascent to the castles. Many beautiful hikes/ bike rides start with us. Schwangau is 2.6 km from the apartment, while Füssen is 4.2 km away.

King Ludwig's Old Neighbour

Welcome to the house of my childhood memories. It is located right below the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, surrounded by lakes and mountains. Inspired by the contrast between heritage and sharing economies, the designer Michl Sommer and his team of featuring-amsterdam have created this microcosm inside the traditional neighbourhood of Hohenschwangau. The 180 sqm living area provides generous space, and the 1'400 sqm garden is large enough for football games.

Modern apartment right on the Lech. The apartment consists of a modern kitchen , a bedroom (double bed), a bathroom with shower and toilet, and an entrance area with a cloakroom. I live in Berlin. This apartment used to be mine and is located in my parents’ house in Schwangau. I currently manage the rental for my parents. They live on site, and I take care of the Airbnb management for them :) Important: Please do not book this accommodation if high-speed Wi-Fi is important to you. The Wi-Fi is unfortunately not very fast. Instead, put your phone away and enjoy the nature, the surroundings, and especially the beautiful view! :)

Lucky Home "Ludwig" Appartment

Wie auch schon unser Appartment und unsere Ferienwohnung befindet sich das neu renovierte Ferienappartment "Ludwig" im Herzen der Füssener Altstadt mitten in der Fussgängerzone. Alle Geschäfte, Restaurants und Bars sind auf kurzem Weg zu erreichen. Der Bahnhof ist 5 Minuten entfernt. Die Schlösser Hohenschwangau und Neuschwanstein sind 4 km entfernt und sehr leicht erreichbar. Die Umgebung bietet Freizeitspass ohne Ende das gesamte Jahr über.

Restaurants and a supermarket are within 5 minutes walking distance. Neuschwanstein Castle can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Gas barbecue Grill are available free of charge.

The listed Straubingerhaus is a former farm, family-owned since 1896, and has been lovingly renovated in the past two years. Now our 3 apartments are ready and we can welcome guests. We warmly welcome you directly at Lake Forggensee in the village of the royal castles in the "Mini," "Mountain" or "Lake." The Straubinger house is located directly on the Forggensee in the Allgäu, so mountain climbing and swimming are no problem!
