Come spend the weekend at our comfortable and cozy lakefront cottage tucked away in a serene country setting less than 2 hours away in Neversink, New York. Get away from the busy city life and relax in our beautiful retreat. Wake up with a cup of coffee to a peaceful morning on the deck overlooking Lake Paradise.
This quaint 1950’s 2-bedroom cottage is less than 2 hours away from New York City. Modern furnishings and conveniences include fully stocked kitchen, oven, microwave, washer/dryer, barbecue grill, wi-fi and plenty of board games. Both bedrooms have full-sized beds with memory foam mattresses that will cradle you to sleep. There are plenty of beautiful hiking trails all over the place!
The cottage is located in the small town of Neversink, located at the foot of the Catskill Mountains, in between the towns of Liberty and Grahamsville. There is a general store about a 5 minute drive away that has a deli, gas and a mini-grocery store that sell local goods such as honey, coffee and soap. The nearest full-sized grocery store, drug store, and restaurants are 15 minutes away in the city of Liberty. Plenty of birds, including several bald eagle sighting, families of beavers, ducks, geese, squirrels, chipmunks, and deer! Hiking is available pretty much anywhere, from right outside the front door to select areas in the Catskill Mountains less than 5 minutes away. Catch amazing waterfalls throughout Catskill Park. Both the Neversink Reservoir and the Roundout Reservoir are about 3 miles away where you can fish and even kayak. There’s plenty of fly-fishing on the Willowemoc and Beaverkill Rivers. In the winter, ski at Hunter Mountain or Mohonk Mountain, both are an hour away. Attend concerts in Bethel Woods, the original site of the Woodstock festival! Play your luck at the nearby Monticello Raceway and Casino and the new Resorts World Casino, around 20-25 minutes away.
  • Fantastic stay!!

  • The serenity and silence of the area around the home is beautiful. Patrick’s place is both quaint and homey. Lots of board games, darts, and books for entertainment. The view of the lake matched with the mini waterfall that can be heard inside one of the bedrooms was amazing. I would love to come back again in the Summer to enjoy the outdoor amenities. Overall an awesome place to stay.

  • I really enjoyed my little getaway. The place is perfect and local to many hiking trails. The view of the lake was very relaxing. And the heat worked great when the temps were in the low teens.

  • Wonderful area by the lake. Great host also. Good entertainment choices, books, and games.

  • I really enjoyed my stay at this Lakeside cottage . It was very comfortable, Patrick was very quick with responses. And it was a nice quiet area for relaxation. Although it is right off of a country road there are very few cars passing by. I’m looking forward to visiting again during the warmer weather and making more use of the outside amenities.

  • This is a great spot. We enjoyed watching the lake partially freeze and thaw. The heat was great, and the bed super comfortable. Especially loved the sounds of the waterfall creek outside the bedroom window. The kitchen worked well for us, too. Overall the place is cozy and quaint and a great value. Patrick was super fast to respond to any questions.

Behind the Catskill Brewery on an open field you’ll find two cottages, formerly the residence of the brewmaster, now made available for rental. While the main house is perfect for families, group getaways, and those that appreciate having enough room to swing a keg, the Microbrew Cabin is your cozy cabin that's perfect for a one single person or a couple.
You enter the cabin through the front door that sits on a wooden deck. This is the spot where you will most likely spend hours sipping on your morning coffee as well as enjoying a cold Catskill Brewery beer watching the sunset after a day of adventures. From here you step straight into the livingroom that makes you feel like you are deep in the woods. The wood cladded walls creates a warm atmosphere where you can feel like home. The livingroom connects with the kitchen where the minimalistic and clean design makes you wonder if the catskill is actually located in Scandinavia but the local supplies sitting on the shelves will bring you back home again. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed made with high quality flannel bedding from Lexington Company. The newly renovated bathroom connects to both the livingroom and bedroom and has all the amenities you need for your nature retreat. The Cabin has a new full kitchen filled with essentials for the simple life. Cooking stove, small fridge and freezer and a spacious apron sink. The shelves and cupboards has well selected glassware, service ware, cutlery and tools for cooking as well as baking. When furnishing the cabin we got really excited about all the beautiful enamel ware we found in antique shops and thrift stores - there's nothing like enjoying a cup of coffee in an enamel cup on a deck over looking the mountains. Oh and we stock great coffee for you at the cabin! We also have the essentials such as local honey from the Catskills, oats, tea, olive oil, salt & pepper etc. Anything else you need through your stay you can find either in the local markets just a 2 min drive from the cabin or on select farms around the area. After a long day exploring everything from a hiking to a secret waterfall, a local smoked trout sandwich, alpaca petting and tasting all the different types of beer that the Catskill Brewery offer its time to sleep. We have done everything we can to create a comfortable space for you. Change into the comfortable robes that's yours for the stay and feel like home. The dark flannel bedding helps you sleep long nights and the walk in shower will wake you up in the morning and get ready for new adventures.
  • The microcabin is perfect for couples! It's secluded but also a quick walk from Catskill Brewing and town. Nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable.

    Ryan2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful time in the cabin & Livingston Manor as a whole. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. The cabin has all the basics you could need and it’s a short walk to the main area of town. The flannel sheets & cozy robes were a nice touch also. We would stay here again for sure.

    Vanessa2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Microbrew cabin was the absolute best weekend getaway for my wife and I. It is the coziest cutest cabin with incredible detail and decor. The location to the town could not be any better and if you’re a beer lover all you have to do is walk down the driveway to the amazing brewery. You are fairly close to the other Airbnb but it does not feel like it one bit when you’re in the cabin. You’re in a secluded little nook that feels very private. Definitely would go back!

    Kacey2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy and quaint cabin perfect for a quick getaway. It's close to several great food and beverage options. Definitely would stay here again

    Sherri2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • The microbrew cabin is just as described. Steps away from the Catskill Brewery (which is bar far my favorite now) and minutes to town. The cabin was bigger then I expected with stylish details and super comfortable for two people. Anna was very quick to respond with any questions we had and the check in was so easy. I would love to come back and stay again and highly recommend for a weekend escape.

    Kacy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I spent our early Valentine’s celebration at the microbrew cabin , the space was perfect for our weekend getaway. The cabin is very cozy, well decorated, and conveniently located with enough privacy from surrounding homes/road while also being very close to Livingston Manor’s Main Street. Tom and Anna provided us with many recommendations for food, grocery, and activities- all of which we took advantage of during our trip. We enjoyed being walking distance from the brewery and just a short drive from many hiking spots in the area. If you get a chance, you should also check out Roscoe, NY which is a short drive down the highway. Thanks for hosting a wonderful trip!

  • Such an incredible and memorable stay at Michelle and her parents' property. They really do everything possible to out-do themselves in showing their hospitality to their guests. Everything was as described and the communication was constant. Their property is so unique in many ways, I would definitely recommend to anyone willing to try this type of getaway. We would love to come back, and see us doing so, in the years to come!

  • My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at Hemlock Falls. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed walking the trails. Check-in and communication was flawless and very fast. The hosts were extremely helpful and kind. We had everything we needed. It was exactly the rest and relaxation we were looking for. We hope to be back in the near future.

  • Highly recommend! It was a great escape from the city, and Michelle and her family were very kind and accommodating.

  • My husband and I stayed for a mini-moon the weekend after our wedding, with our dog Luna. The whole experience was amazing. We had great weather, loved the glamp tent and bathroom, and hiked the whole property. This experience exceeded expectations and we will definitely be back!

    Samantha2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our little family had a great experience and time at Hemlock Falls. Communication with Michelle was effortless, both Kim and Rob were so warm and welcoming. Both my husband and I commend all of the hard work that has been invested into Hemlock Falls. It’s truly a hidden gem. As an hotelier, I truly can appreciated your vision and all of the small details that has been invested to the property. I wish you much success, we look forward to return and spread the word.

    Melissa2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • The whole property and campsites are very beautiful, especially the river and Hemlock Falls. Michelle and her parents checked-in with us multiple times before and during our stay to help with bags, give an introduction to the space, provide firewood, and give a small tour with paper guide of the property. The tent bed is very comfortable and luxurious with a mosquito net. Highly recommended!

  • Cynthia’s cabin is the best! It’s peaceful, beautiful and surrounded by nature. A magical place that we’ll return to again and again!

    Nick2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint, quiet, but a bit chilly (my fault). Be ready to make a fire in the stove if it's under 50F. Super clean and very cute space

    Justin2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay in Livingston Manor. Perfect location, super clean and great atmosphere! Will be back!

    Eric2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cynthia's cabin is our ideal getaway!!! This is the second time we've stayed there and honestly I dream about it constantly. You feel so connected to the surrounding forest and landscape. It is perfectly secluded but still close enough to the main house that you can access anything you might need. Also, Cynthia is incredible and very generous. We can't wait to come back again and again!

    Michael2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay! Felt like sleeping in a dream!

    Joeri2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Off the Grid Cabin at Cynthia's place in the Catskill's is surrounded by natural beauty. It provides peace, comfort a hint of rusticity without truly roughing-it. The wood stove effectively warms the cabin so that rising from the clean comfortable bed to heat coffee and cereal on the stove outdoors is a sensory scene change that is no less pleasurable. It's a clean, comfortable, peaceful place. Cynthia is a generous and experienced host who is able to provide information about local interests including a locally treasured bakery, coffee shops, farmers markets, and more. During our stay, we visited the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts ( the Woodstock Museum), which is only 35 minutes from Cynthia's. It's was well worth the side trip! I'd recommend a stay at Cynthia's to anyone who appreciates tuning-in to the natural beauty of the Catskill region.

    M2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Cynthia’s is the perfect retreat! She greeted us on arrival and showed us around the little cabin! She was accessible if we needed anything and helpful with tips for the surrounding area!

    Amanda2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely magical time staying at Cynthia’s place over Labor Day weekend. Highlights: Cynthia’s warm welcome and tour, the fields of goldenrod in full bloom around us, the cozy and sparkling clean room filled with lovely touches, the screened in porch for meditation in the mornings, and the stars at night...we would love to come back soon!

This charming, private guest house used to be the Rolling River Café, converted into a cozy space with a pellet stove, a queen bed upstairs and a futon downstairs. Perfect for 1 to 4 guests, such as 2 couples, 3 friends, or a family of 3 or 4. It is private - no sharing with any other guests. It has an open floor plan on both floors.
Our comfortable guest house is a real treat! Both upstairs and down have an open floor plan. There are no bedroom doors. We have thick, opaque surround curtains around the queen bed upstairs that block all view. Located in the beautiful Catskills along a year-round river, 1 1/2 hours drive from New York City. Come and stay in a lovely historic house by the river and enjoy the nature and amenities. It is fully equipped for a nice vacation with lots to do in the area. Whether you are 1 guest or more you get the whole house to yourself - you won't share with unknown guests. This space was the Rolling River Café for 10 years. We are moving our kitchen to the Upward Brewing Company in Livingston Manor, so we converted the restaurant into a guest house, with a cool commercial kitchen, funky and fun! We have a queen bed upstairs and a futon downstairs, accommodating up to 4 guests comfortably, with a half bath downstairs, & bath with shower upstairs. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, a movie screen on both floors to watch a lot of DVDs which are supplied, and wifi (no cable TV). A nice pellet stove in the living room keeps the place warm in winter. In the mornings, enjoy a continental breakfast supplied for you with coffees, teas, cereals, milk & juices. In the summer outside we have a charcoal grill and picnic table for a riverside barbecue. We have air conditioning. Check-in time is 3:00 pm. If you want to check in before then, please just let us know. Check out time is 11:00 am. If requested, later may be possible. There are many activities for a perfect vacation. We have a nice 1.5 mile walk on a Rail Trail in Parksville, a live music venue just 2 city blocks away on Main Street called Cabernet Frank's. In a 5 minute drive on Route 17 west is Livingston Manor, with the Catskill Brewery and great shopping, and the Catskills Art Society - a renowned art gallery. We are 20 minutes from Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center. We are 10 minutes from Monticello Casino and Raceway and 15 minutes from Resorts World Casino. We are close to the Willowemoc River for the best trout fishing ever. Close by is an educational New York State trout hatchery, Hunter Lake for motorboating, for camping and swimming Mongaup Pond State Park and Neversink Reservoir for rowboating and fishing. Other things to do in the area are horseback riding at Bridle Hill Farm or Sonoma Falls where there is also a cider mill & country store, hiking, camping, antiquing, yoga classes at Just Breathe Yoga, visiting art galleries such as Catskill Art Society and Liberty Art Museum. In wintertime cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing. Holiday Mountain is a small family mountain 15 minutes away. Belleayre and Plattekill are 1 hour away for nice downhill skiing. These other places you shouldn't miss: wineries BashaKill and Eminence Road Farm, shops in Livingston Manor: Morgan Outdoors, Willow & Brown, Main Street Farm, Brandenburg Bakery, Catskill Brewery and The Delightful Place. In Roscoe take a tour through the Prohibition Distillery. Enjoy the lovely rural surroundings. We are your hosts, so please ask us anything and we will be pleased to make you comfortable during your stay.
Our neighborhood is the little hamlet of Parksville. This hamlet was thriving when the O & W Railroad ran through it, but had an economic downturn since then. But there is now a music venue called Cabernet Frank's, and there will soon be a coffee roaster and an antiques auction house on Main Street. It looks a little like a ghost town, but is very walkable and fun to see the historical corner pharmacy where Steven King filmed a scene for his HBO movie "Bag of Bones," and there is a serene 1.5 mile Rail Trail along the river. Not a long drive west from Parksville is lovely Livingston Manor with interesting shops, a bakery, a brewery, a local grocery store, and a beautiful school on the river that runs through. And 5 miles distance are all amenities like grocery, hardware, bank, liquor store, tailor, pet supplies, etc.
  • Kim's place is very cute and perfect for a weekend getaway from the city, you will love it!

    Bryce2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Need a getaway from NYC? Want a place with lots of charm? Yet cozy? Commercial kitchen? This is it! My husband and I spent our weekend here. We made food, a loaf of bread, walked around the nearby town, watch a couple of movies and generally just chilled out. Us city people got creeped out by sounds that the house made in the first night, but cheers! Would come back for warmer weather!

    Sunny2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place was magical- exactly as described, immaculately clean with a pellet stove that was perfect for a 16 degree night and a big, soft warm bed. Kim was responsive to all my questions (I had no idea how the pellet stove worked) and there was plenty of privacy. The kitchen looked amazing too (former cafe and restaurant), but I was only there for a night and didn't get a chance to try it. The town is pretty enigmatic too- several abandoned businesses and houses when you first get into town.

    Maggie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Kim’s place is extremely unique and cozy. The pellet stove kept us warm on the cold February nights. The restaurant style kitchen was very fun to cook meals in. The upstairs queen size bed was also very comfortable and the shower was hot and had good pressure. Overall we had a wonderful stay :)

    Alex2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • I think this place make a great for a couple. We loved the sounds of the river and the quite ! Ofcourse also the amazing kitchen amenities ! It’s got its own charm we loved it and Kim was great! Cabernet franks was awesome! Great food. Thank you so much for everything

    Jaclyn Hara2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome little love shack for me and my boyfriend. We loved the house and Kim was very fast to respond to our needs. Will definitely stay again!

    Natalia2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy eclectic and warm. Perfectly relaxing. Peaceful. Loved the sound of the river.

    Diane2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • A great house to stay in with lots of fantastic little touches here in there to make it extra special. The kitchen is fantastic; the atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and productive. Be sure to take advantage of being able to play music in the whole house, the Parksville Rail Trail nearby, and the breweries up in Livingston Manor (about a 10 minute drive).

Cozy cottage nestled in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains. Lake right for Canoeing and fishing in Lake Paradise. Light a fire on the back porch and enjoy a glass of wine. Cook a three course meal in our chef driven kitchen of better yet just sit back and let nature take you away.
It's a beautiful place to escape the chaos and sit and relax in the wilderness. Cozy up to the fire or sip on some wine.
  • Daniels place is cozy and a perfect place to escape to. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating meals at the big table. Shower was hot and beds were comfy! We loved the pellet stove and the firepit. Would stay again!

    Katherine2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Charming, quiet, and Catskilly. Nice touch everywhere, but the star of the show was the pellet “stove” aka fireplace in the living room. Daniel was super responsive and helpful. We just stayed in for a cozy Valentine’s Day weekend, but it would also be great for hikes or setting up basecamp for skiing. Def would stay again.

    Virgil2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I love the house

    Angel2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time here! Well decorated and cozy, and the kitchen is ideal for prepping big meals together. A few tips for future guests: You'll need to light a pellet stove for heat. It's not too difficult to use, just something you'll need to mind. Some GPS systems point you to the wrong house! Just look out for the house number.

    Jonathan2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, would go back for sure.

    Angélique2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, back-in-time, all-wooden respite from the city, with wonderful modern touches and amenities (The pilot stove was the cherry on top of our upstate trip with out-of-towners). Daniel also saved the day with his local tips and must-do’s in the area, making our jobs showing family around so much easier. Loved all the reading material and thoughtful decor around the house as well. The big kitchen table is perfect for family dinners and game nights.

    Alexandre2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel was very helpful during our planning process for the trip! I would come back every year if I could

    Kailynd2020-01-01T00:00:00Z

  • One of the best Airbnb properties we've ever stayed! The Western Sullivan Properties place is plain, decorated with small touches and full of sunlight. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit under the stars and massive full moon. Chris, our host was great on communication and nice to let us check out late. We are counting the days to go back! Thank you!

  • Spent the weekend here with my family and we had a wonderful time. The property is spacious, clean, and stylish. The wood stove was an added bonus! This was our third stay in the area and this house was by far our favorite yet. Location is amazing. Easy walk to the Arnold house or a 5 minute drive into Livingston Manor. Chris was a great host and excellent at communicating everything regarding our stay. Highly recommend this house !

  • We felt welcome before we even arrived - great communication from Chris. The home is in a lovely location adjacent to hiking trails. It's a quick drive to the center of Livingston Manor, Roscoe and more. Clean bright home to enjoy nature around you. Great wood burning stove to keep you cozy in the winter. Kitchen with the basics you need made it easy for us to cook a number of meals. Wifi worked very well. Pet friendly too. Great stay!

  • Beautiful home, extremely well kept, with a wonderful and convenient location. It's a quick walk to the Arnold House and a short drive into town. Chris is an excellent host with quick responses and helpful information to share. Really enjoyed our stay.

    Harris2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I had an outstanding time this past weekend. Chris was such a great host and went above and beyond to welcome my family. We had a baby traveling with us so Chris let us check in a little early Friday afternoon, which helped out more than anyone could imagine. When we arrived, there was a bag of fresh cookies from the local bakery as well as fresh coffee beans which we enjoyed. Overall, every aspect of this house was incredible. The only downfall was the rain on Saturday but we couldn’t be more happier with the house and the first class treatment. Jeremy

  • This was a great home for our getaway weekend in the Catskills! It was super stylish, had a great kitchen and seating, lots of comfortable lounge space for us to relax, and super comfortable beds! There were also huge windows all throughout the house so you felt like you were in the middle of nature, which was really nice and peaceful. and if you're not in the mood to cook, it's a 5 minute walk from the Arnold House which was a nice change up for dinner one of our nights. Chris was also very responsive, messaged to check in on us on our way up given an incoming snow storm, and even got the house ready for us early. Highly recommend this spot!

    Sid2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • I wrote another review on his other property but I truly can’t recommend these properties enough!

    Ursula2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing house, perfect for any occasion! The views are incredible and the location couldn’t be any more ideal if looking to take advantage of the area. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone.

A simple cottage in a magical location next to the Fir Brook was reimagined in 2019 with all modern conveniences. The minimalist, comfortable design takes full advantage of the natural surroundings - and the home is a 10-minute drive alongside the winding Willowemoc Creek to The DeBruce for world-class local cuisine and the adorable small town of Livingston Manor is a 20-minute drive. Pet-friendly! NOTE: Please only book in winter if you have a car that can handle mountain snow :)
The master bedroom is set up for serious lounging with a Tuft & Needle king-sized mattress and massive windows, giving you a sense of being surrounded by trees and with a direct view of the brook. The second bedroom is cozier, but you can still hear the water with the window open and the queen-sized Tuft & Needle mattress is equally comfortable. The main living space is open and the kitchen is equipped with a gas cooktop (but no oven), dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, milk heather/frother, and all the utensils and pots & pans you could need. There's also a Weber propane grill, a firepit, a dining table, and Adirondack chairs outside, should you decide to cook and dine a bit closer to nature. The Jotul propane stove is on a thermostat and remote control, so you can enjoy a fire inside whenever you want... The bathroom has a generous walk-in shower and space to store your items, as well as a washer/dryer. ***We love to welcome well-behaved dogs, but do ask for an additional $50 fee per pet per stay to help us with additional cleaning and wear and tear - and, of course, would hope you would pick up after your dog as you would at home!***
Willowemoc is a beautiful hamlet that's surrounded by state land, gentle mountains, and various creeks and brooks. The birthplace of fly-fishing in the US was here and on the nearby Beaverkill River - and the Fir Brook outside the house is also stocked with fish (you do need to secure a permit for any fishing). There are plenty of outdoor activities and great trails and roads to run, hike, and bike, but this is an equally appealing destination for people who like to hang out and cook at home with an occasional trip to explore the shops and restaurants in nearby towns like Livingston Manor and Roscoe - or ones that are within an hour's (beautiful country!) drive like Narrowsburg, Callicoon, Kerhonkson, Accord, Phoenicia, and Woodstock.
  • We had such an amazing stay in Megans and Robert’s place! One of the most beautiful places in the Catskills, highly recommend!!

    Neomi2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was absolutely perfect for our group of four. It was simply and thoughtfully decorated, with all the basics and more. We were able to cook delicious meals with the kitchen setup, slept well in the comfortable beds, and embraced all the natural light from the giant windows overlooking the peaceful creek just outside. Our favorite part was the little propane stove that kept us so cozy despite the snow and chill outside. Super easy check in and check out, plowed roads for beautiful morning runs. Would definitely stay again!

    Stephanie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Megan and Robert’s place. The cabin was spotless with a lot of great amenities. Communication was amazing, and even though it was below freezing outside the whole time we were there the house was warm and cozy.

    Nicole2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Megan and Roberts’ place was spotless, and breathtaking. My husband and i enjoyed the sounds of the creek at night, and the beautiful scenery surrounding the house. We really enjoyed cuddling up by the fire as it snowed outside.

    Melissa2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Modern Cabin for those seeking relaxation, nature, and a well curated space. This is a top quality Air B experience. We stayed for 3 nights (two couples)- the home was sparkling clean, easy to find and idyllic. It was perfect! We’ll be booking their other Cabin 8 for another Catskills getaway.

    Jessica2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts who exceeded our expectations. Very cozy home with outstanding views!

    Michelle2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Best airbnb I've stayed at yet! The huge windows allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the nature outside while warm and snuggled up by the fire. House is spotless and Megan and Robert have great design tastes. Will definitely be coming back to check out the other seasons!

    Christine2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This house is a 10. If you think the pictures are nice wait to go there. My girlfriend and I spent a weekend in Megan and Robert’s house and we just fell in love with that place. Apart from the house which is incredible the hosts are super professional. Quick responses and super helpful. They helped us with any question we had and made sure our stay was exceptional. I recommend this house 100% if you want to spend a nice weekend in the Catskills. Waking up in the master bedroom and looking through the windows was completely amazing!!! 😍😍 Love it!!

  • The cabin is open, spacious & updated/modernized without sacrificing any of the cozy cabin vibes you’re looking for. It’s set back on a hill off of old rt17, but still protected from the highway so you’re not disturbed. No neighbors, total privacy. The wood oven is amazing, kitchen fully stocked, and bedrooms/bathrooms are all very comfortable. Great location between Roscoe & Livingston with tons of breweries, restaurants, hiking, fishing, etc

The house is as described - clean, newly renovated, bright big windows, and the sauna/bath house is perfect. Hook up your iPod to the speakers in there and put on some ambient music to truly achieve the zen experience. Awesome movie theater and surround sound, too. No complaints, only compliments! Our group will be back.

  • This has got to be one of my favorite air bnb experiences!! This pictures do not do the house justice, it is amazing!! All the guests could not believe that his was their home for the weekend ... a sauna? a movie theater in our own home?! AMAZING. Eugene was extremely helpful in how to start a fire, getting into the house, providing needed items that I forgot to pack, like a towel. Plus, to have a manual for the house was so extremely helpful which included things to do around the area or even outside the area. I cannot rave more about this house and the host!! The town is lovely as well and I cannot wait to book again for the warmer months to enjoy the property even more.

    Sandra2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place for a winter getaway not too far from nyc. It is exactly as described and pictures. Eugene could not have been a better host. Highly recommended!

    Stephanie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Eugene is a wonderful host, he is all about communication. We loved the bath house and movie theatre. We totally recommend the Zen House, it was like a vacation two hours from NYC.

    Ariela2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Terrific place! We loved the fire places, sauna , ping pong and movie theater.

    Ana2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Eugene's home is the perfect getaway. We celebrated my 30th birthday here and I don't think I've ever had so much fun. The house is the perfect size for gathering with friends, everyone could do their own thing and then come back and hang out as a group in the kitchen and living room. The sauna and plunge pool are amazing, I left the weekend with glowing skin! In the winter! A dream! Last but not least the home theater is so fantastic. Everyone got their own recliner (each recliner has a cozy blanket which is so thoughtful!) and we were able to not only watch tv but hook up our Switch to the projector so that we could play video games. I cannot recommend staying at Eugene's place enough. He is such a thoughtful host and will make sure you have the perfect vacation!

    Meg2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Eugene is an awesome host. I loved the very thoughtful tips and suggestions to do around the area. A lot of information was provided for the house and directions. Love the area and the house. Absolutely would definitely come back!

Embrace the vintage charm of this mid-century home surrounded by nature. The Jameson cottage is a cozy spot with updated amenities, rustic wood finishes throughout, and a Scottish Scandinavian-inspired interior aesthetic.
The Jameson Cottage is a quaint two bedroom cottage, with an open concept main living area and one full sized bathroom. Originally built in 1952 the Cottage has been masterfully restored to its heyday. There is a definite mid century modern feeling while remaining true to its Catskills heritage. In the large master bedroom you’ll find a queen sized bed complete with crisp white linens, plush comforters, warm blankets and fluffy pillows. The Master bedroom takes queues from the history of White Sulphur Springs which in its heyday was a quaint farming village. The bright whites, deep greens and clean lines lend to a modern farmhouse feel. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed as well, although the room is a bit cozier. Fresh washed linens and a diamond knit comforter adorn the bed, along with comfy flannel pillows for a more relaxed feel. The kitchen is compact but multifunctional. The masterfully crafted cabinets, made in the Hudson Valley but inspired by renowned English Cabinet makers, store all you’ll need for cooking and baking during your stay. Painted in an inky blue to mimic the majestic Catskill Mountain range. The open shelves are stocked with all the plates, bowls, and drinking glasses you’ll need. Different shades of blues & greens were used throughout the kitchen and living area to mimic the different shades you see while looking at the mountains from a distance. The living room sports a small mid century sofa that is very comfortable, sit down and enjoy a movie or take in a good book. In the warmer months you can also enjoy the backyard, you'll find an abundance of fauna & flora...Take a walk around the grounds and enjoy the beautiful bounty...you’ll find grapes, raspberries, pears, apples, and even peaches growing right in our own backyard.
The home is about 15 minutes away from lots of great spots, such as the Bethel Woods Art Center, where the original Woodstock was held. Discover world class fishing, hiking, restaurants, and other outdoor recreations nearby.

  • This cottage was the best AirBnb experience I've had, out of many good ones. The space was stylish and spotless and very tasteful. We loved the ambience and relaxing in an elegant and tastefully decorated space. The amenities were outstanding, everything was very comfortable, and we had such a nice getaway here. The location was great and near some good hiking. I would absolutely recommend this space.

    Sean2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • My fiancé and I checked into Jameson Cottage on Thanksgiving Day and we stayed for the weekend. We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Michael had a welcome book with information on the cottage plus lot of information on the restaurants and sights in the surrounding area. The cottage is uniquely and beautifully designed, however it’s not just pretty to look at, it is also very comfortable and functional. Our bed was so amazingly comfy that I want to get details on maker of the mattress and pillows. The heating and hot water worked perfectly which was very important to us as it was approximately 30 degrees out our entire stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities for cooking and serving. One more note the house is immaculately clean and Michael has really interesting books in the kitchen and bedrooms. I would highly recommend the cottage and will definitely stay again. Maybe during the summer.

    Laura2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at the cottage. The space is very warm during the winter with central heat and everything is very cozy and clean. We had a great time being near Livingston Manor and enjoyed coming home to a quiet space. My favorite was looking out at the backyard through the kitchen. Great hosts, quick in response for anything we needed

    Paula2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Michael’s house! The cottage is beautifully set up and comfortable, with all of the extras - coffee, butter/oil/cooking essentials, shampoo, hair dryer, curler, etc. It is in a convenient location right near Livingston Manor. I would love to come back! Especially during the summer!

  • Had such an amazing time at Jonathan and Suzanne's place! It was the perfect upstate getaway i was hoping for! Little thoughtful touches like a bottle of red and sparkling was very touching. We basically spent the whole time in front of their cute fireplace inside. Their communication was amazing - whatever and whenever we had questions, they were very very responsive ! The local guide tips they had too were also great! The house was also incredibly clean, and the views over the lake (frozen at the time) was just gorgeous! Thank you guys so much for a gorgeous weekend away! Can't wait to come back and visit! If anyone is looking for a secluded place, for a quiet getaway, this is the place!

    Dajana2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Jonathan & Suzanne’s amazing cottage for our mini baby-moon and loved everything about it. Unlike our first baby-moon we didn’t travel internationally for it, and we wouldn’t change a thing about that. The house was such a great find. It’s thoughtfully designed and decorated, and although we had a winter stay and thus couldn’t swim in the lake, we were still able to revel in the night sky. And that fireplace...don’t even get me started. It took me a night or two to get the hang of starting a fire again, but once I got it going, I felt transported to another life. One where I’m a woodsman with a rugged beard. We desperately want to return and I look forward to that trip. From now on, this is our baby-free getaway in the Catskills.

  • Great hosts, and a beautiful house to stay in! The property is great, with access to everything you could possibly need, clean and comfy beds, a full kitchen with tons of utensils, cookware, spices, condiments, local eggs, waffle maker and more! Awesome hot tub, fire pit and lounge area with a grill in the backyard and walking distance from a covered bridge and river really make this property worth exploring in its own right! The house also has a wood-burning oven in an unheated foyer which would be great for lounging in the cool fall/spring season, and a cozy interior with a Smart TV, Netlfix, Bluetooth soundbar and washer/dryer! Very new construction and stylish interior decor. Super clean and comfortable bedding in all the rooms (of which there are 4!). Brian was super nice, giving us the grand tour in the beginning and setting us up with a pre-made tinder box for making a fire in the yard. The hot tub was a fantastic thing to have after a long day snowboarding and hiking! The whole area is quite scenic, very comfortable and private and I would highly recommend staying here, any season! One of the better Airbnb experiences I've had!

  • We had a wonderful weekend at Christie and Brian’s place — fantastic hosts, loved the hot tub, and the place is stocked with everything you’d want for a chill getaway: the s’mores were a great touch. Highly recommend!

    Hoss2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Christie and Brian were tremendous hosts! Brian was wonderful during check-in in showing us the features of the house and they both responded to our messages promptly. We visited during a snowy weekend in January, and the area could not have been more picturesque and the hot tub was incredible. We would love to visit again in the summertime as well!

    Kiran2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I had such a blast! We loved the hot tub as well as fire pit and bbq. Was such a great weekend!!

    Meryl2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • My six girlfriends and I truly enjoyed our relaxing weekend away from the city at Christie and Brian's place. We were an hour late for check-in and it was no problem for them. Once we got there Brian showed us where everything was and we were basically left alone for the rest of the weekend. They had a wood setup for a fire in both the fire-pit and the wood stove when we arrived. They also provided everything you needed to make smores! The hot tub was also on and hot for us to use for the whole weekend. I hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the backyard more as it was large and on a river. We stayed in the house the whole weekend which was easy since the house has a great big open living room/kitchen/dinning area. They also seemed to have all the streaming services so we could watch anything we wanted. And the master bed was one of the best sleeps I've had in a while. I would 10/10 recommend this house to anyone.

There is an oversized fireplace for cold winter nights and an oversized deck for those hot summer days. You'll also hear the sounds of running water from Callicoon Creek any time of the year. One of our favorite features of the house is the Movie Room. Its Equipped with a 75inch 4k TV and Dolby Surround Sound makes late night movies in the woods extra fun.
The house is a short walk or drive into the Jeffersonville's town center where you will find everything you need: grocery shopping, new restaurant with a beer garden, gas station, ice cream, etc. When venturing out, you will find that Jeffersonville is centrally-located to all of the up-and-coming social hubs in the Western Catskills. Livingston Manor with its breweries, wine shops, restaurants and hiking, is just a short 20-minute drive. Callicoon's swimming holes, farmer's market and vintage movie theater are just 15 minutes in the other direction. Narrowsburg, a charming town on the Delaware with excellent dining, is 30 minutes away. And so much more!
  • This is an exceptionally beautiful space that feels very lived in and customized. The fireplace makes the living space super cozy and we saw many deer out the lovely picture windows. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies for cooking and the beds were cozy and soft. This was a perfect retreat space and we had a relaxing stay!

  • The house has everything you could want for a weekend escape...seclusion, comfy beds, and a hot tub! Michael was extremely attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

    Janet2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect little getaway. All the amenities and touches you could ask for. Michael is a great host. Would stay there again.

    Carson2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Michael’s place was fantastic. Exactly what we were looking for when booking a quick get a way from NYC. House is spacious and clean, kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, beds are very comfortable & the TV room’s surround sound is nice touch. Loved the heated floors in the bathrooms as well. Outdoor Jacuzzi was secluded and beautiful - def nice to hang out there at night and star gaze. We will def be back!

    Marina2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Michael’s place. The house is super stylish and well located, only a couple of minutes from the town centre. The beds are extremely comfortable, the heated floors are a great touch and we loved having the fire and the hot tub. The kitchen is great to cook in as well! Michael’s communication was fast and we really appreciated it. One little thing, that clearly isn’t a big issue since no other review has mentioned it, is the lack of curtains/blinds in the bedrooms which got us by surprise and made us feel a bit weird in the first night. We look forward to coming back in the warmer months!

    Sergio2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • The place was much better than the pictures represent. Stylish touches, large living spaces, new bedrooms/bathrooms and fully functional Kitchen. With the large outdoor area and Spa its a awesome weekend away. We'd love to stay again.

    Stuart And Holly2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house looks the same as depicted in the photos. The interior is beautifully designed and the amenities are beyond what we have ever experienced. Michael covers all areas of entertainment (TV, Music, Board Games, etc.) at their finest forms. We did not want to leave this house!

The cabin is private, in a clearing in the woods and is extremely peaceful. It's also fun. It's decorated with lots of vintage 60s and 70s stuff; very colorful. It's small and cozy with two sleeping lofts, a kitchen, bathroom & living room and deck.
Cozy, hideaway. Sweet private retreat in the woods. Mod interior, with wood floors, cathedral ceiling and well-equipped kitchen. Open floor plan has two lofts; one with double bed; one with single. Living room has convertible double, fold-out couch. There is also a single daybed in the larger loft area. Because of the open, loft set-up, there aren't separate bedrooms; therefore no real privacy. Deck gets plenty of sun. Lots of fun vintage decor and kitchen items. Shower is small but doable. Very close to Catskills destinations like Mongaup Lake (where you can rent boats!) and hiking trails to Long Pond, Frick and Hodge ponds. If you're interested in hiking, we can give advice or loan a guidebook of destinations. A 10 minute drive to the thriving hamlet of Livingston Manor for groceries, restaurants, shopping. (website hidden) Morgan Outdoors Store can supply you with gear and maps and recommend destinations. Main Street Farm store can stock you up with locally grown produce and snacks. Note that the open lofts in this cabin make it ideal for adults or older children. Well behaved pets are welcome! Please bring a sheet to cover furniture if you want to have your pets on furniture and bring towels for your dog please if it’s going to be rainy or muddy. Come relax in the mountains.
Close to Mongaup Pond day use area with lovely lake; swimming, canoe rental, biking, picnicking & camping. Approx 5 miles to village of Livingston Manor; 10-15 minutes to Liberty, NY. Close to famed trout fishing on the Willowemoc and Beaverkill rivers. Check out the Catskill Fly Fishing Center on Old Rt. 17 between Livingston Manor and Roscoe.
  • My husband, my two dogs and I had a very peaceful time during our stay. It is a lovely cabin, very secluded, lots of privacy. One of the best airbnb we have stayed at. Huge compliments to Christine who is an amazing host. She made sure we were comfortable at all times, making sure we could find everything we needed while staying at her cabin. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

    Patty2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Christine’s cabin is very cool - all you need for a weekend getaway. It was an immersive 70s experience, with cool interior decor and old music. I loved spending my mornings on the sun filled deck, watching chipmunks playing around. We’d be happy to come back sometime!

    Inessa2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • 5 stars!! It was everything I expected based on other reviews and more. We lucked out with the weather with one day of beautiful sunshine. The changing of the leafs all around the house contrasted beautifully with the ferns that grew along the private road. I almost don't want to rave about it because I'm scared it will get booked up for next year. It's that good...

    Nina2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Christine was incredibly responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The house is quaint and retro styled, and very clean, cozy, and comfortable.

    Alex2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the cabin and all of the 70s era decor. I loved playing the well curated selection of records on the vintage record player. The property is amazing, beautiful and serene, which is the real draw for me. It's so quiet and the fire pit is a great place to hang at night. Christine was very helpful, friendly and clear.

    Ed2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time! We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, playing board games, and walking around outside. We'll be back!

    Abbie2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • We came here for a long weekend. The location was perfect, about two hours from White Plains NY. Very easy to find, though do keep an eye out for the entrance as it's a bit back from the road. If you need to go into town for anything, Livingston Manor is about 15 minutes driving from the house and they have a supermarket, liquor store, etc. We brought our two children (4&8) and our dog. Everyone had a blast. Because the home is on a private road, I wasn't worried about our dog being able to roam freely around (although he's not much of a wanderer as it is). The house is decorated SO cute, like stepping back in time to the 70s. The record player was a huge hit for the kids, as were all the board games. At first we were unsure how the little one would handle the ladder going up to the loft room, but by then end she was a pro. Not a single accident :) I usually judge a successful time based on how tired the kids and dog are. They slept great every night, so I call that a win! We cooked almost everything on the fire pit outside and hung out there most of the evenings. In the mornings, we all had breakfast on the porch in the fresh air. The shower, while very small, had awesome pressure and HOT water! Even my very tall husband didn't mind that it was small because of the heat and pressure LOL One thing to note - we use TMobile and could not get reception. There's a corner in the yard when we could get a signal, but it was sporadic. Not complaining, it was nice to be disconnected! But wanted to mention just in case.. Christine has thought of everything and leaves little notes around the house so it's easy to find stuff; you really feel right at home as soon as you get there. We're already talking about going back and staying there again. I would highly recommend!

  • We loved our stay at the cabin. It is tastefully decorated and felt very homey and comfortable but also stylish. We had a lovely fall weekend with the amazing views of the trees and a fire going in the wood burning stove. Although the cabin is small, it has everything you need! Marcie was a great host and very communicative. Highly recommend.

    Seanna2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Marcie's cabin was a great place to stay in the Catskills. Cozy spot with a great fire & lots of autumn leaf sightings around in October.

    Vincent2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Our family wanted a nice getaway in the mountains, and that's exactly what we got. The cabin was comfortable and fit the environment perfectly. We made a fire in the outdoor pit, enjoyed a book in our lofted bedroom, and took hiking day trips in the surrounding area. Communication was seamless and our hosts prepared us well.

    Jayson2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Marcie's place was everything as-described and more! We loved her adorable chalet/cabin from the moment we walked in. There are so many fun touches, from the colorful rugs & textiles to the record player, projector, canoe, back porch, and more. We slept SO well in her comfy bed, and we cooked up a storm in her adorable kitchen. We really enjoyed hiking nearby and canoeing around the nearby lake. Lovely weekend getaway for us and we'll definitely be back!

    Lindsay2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful time staying at Marcie's cabin. The house is so comfortable and stylish, and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We loved hanging out on the deck and using the record player, and had a great time taking the canoe out on the lake. Marcie was super easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend taking a hike around Willowemac Wild Forest, which is about 15 minutes from the house. One of the most beautiful hikes I've ever been on!

    Emilie2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at Marcie's chalet and could not have asked for better accommodations for a weekend get-away.

    Arthur2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is so cute-the perfect place for a weekend away from the city. We loved the projector and always had records playing while we cooked and played board games. The grill allowed for delicious summer meals and we loved the walk to the gorgeous waterfall!

    Rachel2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed all the mid century modern small touches of design and aesthetic. It’s exactly what we love about this side of the Catskills. Visiting every fall at different properties, it was nice to come in the summer and bring our small family. Cozy for a young family, the kids enjoyed the escape from Brooklyn: building fires, exploring the land and local hikes. All directions (long and short) were easy to follow and much appreciated! The recommendations were spot on. We will definitely return, either alone, with the kids, or even with a close couple. We posted pics all weekend, and friends were so curious where we were staying! We are so grateful!

  • A lovely weekend getaway for two people. The place was cozy and clean and looked cute on the inside and out! The hot tub was a perfect addition, especially during a snowfall. Shirt drive to main st and the local breweries too!

    Tom2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was so peaceful! It was great for a wintery getaway with the wood burning stove and jacuzzi but can definitely see coming back in the summer! There was nice touches like the robes for the jacuzzi, providing the firewood, a Bluetooth speaker, and board games. It is close to a lot of recommended attractions including the bakery! Thanks again.

  • We have stayed at Joseph’s house several times now - always clean and well appointed. Very stylish home in a picturesque setting!

    Scott2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Joseph's home is amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone! We stayed here with 5 people and had plenty of space. The kitchen is big and very well stocked, perfect for cooking delicious food. The beds are incredibly comfortable and cozy. The house is so well decorated, with thoughtful touches everywhere. A real highlight is the amazing fireplace and comfortable couch in the living room. There is a record player with a great collection of records, as well as a bluetooth speaker so you can play music from your phone. This house is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We stayed here in the winter, and it was incredibly warm and cozy in the house. I can only imagine how lovely it would also be in the summer! On top of this being the most perfect house, Joseph is also a great communicator. He clearly cares a lot about the experience his guests are having and wants to make sure everything is perfect. Cannot recommend enough!!

    Inge2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! Beautiful decorated, specious, clean and very peaceful. The property is amazing with country views and privacy. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and the living room has a lovely fire place and comfy furniture perfect for hanging out. We will rent this house again for sure! One thing to keep in mind in the winter time the road gets icy so you have to have 4 wheel drive to get in and out**

    Rafal2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I spent the Christmas holiday at Joseph’s beautiful home just outside Livingston Manor and our stay was everything we hoped it would be: secluded but close to a super-cute Catskills small town, rustic-feeling home but full of thoughtful modern touches and creature comforts, spacious living spaces but cozy and warm. Joseph is a phenomenal host and a quick communicator. The only thing I’d note, if you’re interested in hiking, is that during the winter it’s a challenge getting from the backyard to a more walkable trail, as the wooded area behind the house is icy and full of brush. That said, it was a blast exploring with our two intrepid terriers. Highly recommended!

    Conor2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Joseph’s place is amazing! The house was beautiful and spacious and even better than expected. We can’t wait to go back.

    Brandon2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • I know people always say this, but I almost don't want to say just how amazing this house and Joseph are, because it will always be booked, but honestly Joseph deserves it. Our house was being worked on and we used it as an opportunity for a relaxing getaway and boy did this house deliver. Joseph was so accommodating from the second we booked. The house is so private and relaxing and magical.

    Mairghread2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Joseph’s house is a dream. We stayed here with our two small children and had a great weekend. The house is at the end of a quiet road looking down a hill. There’s a large wrap around porch to hang out on and a lawn, fire pit and small creek to explore. The inside is spotless, cozy, comfortable, and perfectly decorated down to the last detail. Joseph was very responsive and helpful leading up to our visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Just 15 minutes from Belleayre! In the heart of Catskill Park, this modern, glass-fronted take on a classic log cabin is set on 12 acres of beautiful land with amazing mountain views and your own pond in the heart of Catskill Park. Surrounded by some of the Catskills' best hiking trails and swimming holes just south of Route 28. Restaurants, distilleries/breweries, shops & more in Phoenicia, Margaretville, Roxbury, and Andes are right nearby too. More photos on IG @catskillsmodern
This house is the best of both worlds -- modern and serene in a classic log cabin setting. Beautiful meadows adjacent to New York State forest and with views of neighboring mountains. In the heart of Catskills wilderness but near the area's favorite towns, activities, and restaurants. You'll truly experience peace and tranquility here.
The house is nestled within one of the most serene, beautiful parts of Catskill Park but with easy 15-20 minute access to the nearby towns of Margaretville, Arkville, Fleischmanns, Big Indian, and Phoenicia. Belleayre Mountain is just down the road for skiiing, snowboarding, and tubing. The property itself has rolling hills to wander, and is nestled between two of the areas best hiking trails -- Kelly Hollow and Dry Brook Ridge Trail, with access to the Balsam Lake Mountain Fire Tower.
  • Margaret's home was beyond beautiful and peaceful. It was exactly what we needed for our getaway from the city. The nature that surrounds the home is incredible and the fact that there were 2 hiking trails nearby was perfect! We can not wait to come back!

    Silvia2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Margaret's Catskill getaway is just what my husband, puppy and I all wanted. The place itself is wonderful - even better than the photos suggest - situated on a great piece of the Catskills countryside. It is remote, which is exactly what we wanted, but some great restaurants and a grocery store 15-20 minutes away. The place itself is that perfect mix of modern meets country. The heated concrete floors were heavenly as was the wood burning fireplace on a winter's night. A+!

    Randy2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I had a great stay at Margaret's place. A nice modern home in a remote place - just as advertised. Was very pretty in the winter and I would imagine very beautiful in the summer.

    Laura2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, modern, cozy spot in the mountains! Loved the view and the wood stove was wonderful. Would stay again!

    Fallon2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Margaret’s place. Lots of thoughtful touches and great use of the space. We loved the high ceilings and open concept. We live in a tiny apartment in NYC so having some extra space to move around felt great. The property is even more beautiful than pictured. When we arrived, the ground was covered in snow and the pond was frozen over making for a very picturesque Christmas. We would definitely recommended staying here and would love to come back.

    Stephanie2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place is in a beautiful secluded part of the Catskills but still very accessibility to local attractions. Margaret had some excellent suggestions for things to do and places to see/eat in the area. Cozy space for a family getaway. Despite the very cold weather and snow and the huge beautiful windows, we were never cold indoors, and the house had plenty of games and things to keep us occupied.

  • We saw deer in the yard every single day! The property is just stunning. Hiking trails within walking distance of house. We hiked to a fire tower and back in just a few hours. The house is elegant in its simplicity and exceedingly well stocked. It was such a pleasure to cook in this kitchen. Only wish we could've stayed longer!

  • What an incredible stay! The home is located in a gorgeous are of the Catskills with lots of green space and privacy. I tend to prefer getting a place of my own and not sharing space but wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Cynthia’s again. It was warm and inviting. She has lots of information about the area and is so hospitable.

    Colleen2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Cynthia is a welcoming and generous host. You will enjoy your stay at her home. It is comfortable and is in a special location, surrounded by woodland and with a beautiful river (great fishing) nearby. Lots to explore in the surrounding area. You can even go off-grid as she has a separate private cabin available. Recommended.

  • I have been stopping at Cynthia’s home whenever I go upstate. It’s the first place I ever stayed at AirBnB & I always look forward to returning. It truly is a space for the soul.

  • My experience in this area wouldn’t have been the same without Cynthia and her wonderful property. It was everything I wanted, needed & more! The space is clean, welcoming, inviting and SO peaceful. Cynthia is the sweetest and I enjoyed my time there so much. This is the kind of place you stay at & can’t wait until the next time you can stay again.

  • Prior reviews are on point — a wonderful, serene property. Cynthia is a lovely human and host. Bedding and linens were fresh and comfortable. Room and house overall were immaculate and airy. Bathrooms spotless. One of the best features: it was SO QUIET AND DARK at night. Coming from Manhattan, I enjoyed a very deep and restful sleep 😴. Seriously, dead silence. (Yes, as she says in the listing, there is a rooster that you may hear in the morning because roosters gonna rooster. But he didn’t disturb me.) Came for one night to enjoy the fall foliage and fresh air. It was juust a bit past peak when I came (second weekend of Oct 2019), but still plenty of golden leaves to enjoy. Went for a couple of runs on the quiet, country roads. Beautiful. Cynthia’s property also has chairs around a fire pit, a hammock and a bench by a pond for those who like to get me-time outside. Space to spread out so you don’t have to interact with other guests (if they are there) if you don’t want to. The surrounding area is quiet, the roads are pretty and the town (Livingston Manor) is quaint with nice shops and restaurants to check out. The Kaatskeller has exceptional pizza, artful cocktails and a cool vibe at the bar. A perfect Catskills autumn destination.

    Karen2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Cynthia's place is perfect for a quiet retreat. Its simple yet welcoming interiour makes you feel right at home. It's a perfect starting point to explore the Catskills. Also, if you're a tea lover, Cynthia can show you many different excellent teas that she has at home, and which she generously shared with me during my stay. Overall staying with Cynthia was a very nice experience and I want to come back soon.

    Faith2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cynthia is a very gracious host, and I am so happy that she is sharing her home with Airbnb travelers. The very in-the-woods and peaceful country setting is a wonderful way to reconnect with nature. The East facing sun room is a beautiful space to watch the sun rise - I recommend it highly!

The main houses is perfect for families, group getaways, and those that appreciate having enough room to swing a keg. The house is 1,100 sq. ft. of fresh, airy spaces accented by vintage details. Comprising three bedrooms, a medium size bathroom with walk in shower, living room with plenty of places to curl up and read a book, and a farm kitchen.
For locals and visitors alike, the Catskills Brewery is the beating heart of Livingston Manor. A nod to the regions agricultural heritage, a steward of the regions ecological bounty, and a gathering place where tall stories are told, snippets of local news are exchanged, and farm hands rub shoulders with creative directors. You won’t be expected to fill the boots of the brewmaster yourself, but you’d be foolish not to try your hand at being a sampler. (Tours of the brewery and tastings can be arranged direct) Downstairs Queen Bedroom: The downstairs queen room puts the “master” in brewmaster. A bright airy room with queen bed framed by built in book cases containing enough literary to learn how to brew beer, then retire, learn how to fish and become an explorer… Located on the ground floor right next to the bathroom. Upstairs Twin Bedroom: The upstairs in the Brewmasters Cottage is a a den of charm, and the upstairs twin while being the smallest room in the house is quite possibly the most charming. Wood panelled ceilings arch down to two cast iron farmhouse beds and a built in closet in the corner. Upstairs King Bedroom: The largest room in the house, and naturally home to a king bed (which can be separated to make two twins), complete with wood panelled ceiling, built in bed side lights for cosy evenings with a good book, rocking chair, and a small built in wardrobe in the corner.

  • Great spot in Livingston Manor. Right off Highway 17 and very accessible to points of interest.

  • The house was cute, comfortable and in a great location - next to good food, drinks and hiking.

    Samantha2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location, just a short walk to the brewery, bars and restaurants on main st. Super stylish with luxury linens and bathrobes, a great library, records and board games for late night Catskills activities amongst friends.

    Aaron2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely LOVED staying in the Brewmasters cottage! This stylish and comfy place was the perfect size for our family. We loved being so close to the Brewery (which has fantastic beer!) and the adorable town of Livingston Manor was enchanting. Tom and Anna left great local recommendations, and it was lovely to meet them in their beautifully curated store downtown. We will definitely be back!

    Maddison2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • We needed to get out of NYC for a few days, this was a great choice. The house itself is very nice. We only used the main bedroom and it was comfortable. Everything was super clean as well. The location of the brewery is cool. It's a quiet small town in the mountains - if you're looking for that then this your place. Also, definitely a must to go to Robin Hood diner, which is right down the street. The place is like walking into a time machine and the prices are that way too! It's a gem.

  • Beautiful place in a great location. Clean, light, sunny, cozy, charming. We had a great time. Highly recommend

    Magda2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We met up with friends. There were 4 adults, 4 kids, and 2 dogs. There was plenty of room for everyone and we spent most of our time in the kitchen/dining/living area, cooking, eating, doing puzzles, playing games, and sitting by the fire talking. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the record player. We all enjoyed walking on the trails in the back with the dogs, and the kids had fun with the icy stream. Beautiful sunrise and the lovely wide view from the living/dining room was soothing. Checkin was easy, and everything was ready for us to settle right in.

    Heather2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We travelled upstate for the long weekend and to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. There was a group of 5 of us staying in the property. We had such a wonderful time. The house is perfectly located close to town and the yard space with the fire was so nice to have going when it was so chilly out. The house amenities are great and there are lots of thoughtful touches. Can’t recommenced enough.

    Nicole2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house at the great location with panoramic view. I really liked very good mix of modern and classic details for the interior design and super clean bathrooms. Close enough to the town of Livingston Manor and Roscoe to get what you need.

    Yuichi2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house is just great. We went there during a snow storm but everything turned out great. The woods right in the backyard are perfect for a quick hike and the kids loved the space and the pool downstairs. Chris was a great host - very friendly and responsive. Will definitely stay there again.

    Ricardo2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • My company had a retreat at The Arnold House, which was unable to host us all. Five of us total stayed in the two adjacent properties and they couldn’t have been more perfect. Chris was so accommodating and the spaces are wonderful. I can not recommend him enough based on his hospitality and the beauty of these homes.

    Ursula2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very recommend! We were 6 adults, one baby, along with our pup and cat which was super nice of chris to let us bring them both along with. The house is beautiful, clean and perfect for the cold winter. Our dog loved the backyard which is huge (but not fenced if that’s a must for anyone also since the house is not too far from the road) but if your dog is well trained and doesn’t go astray it’s absolutely perfect! We love cooking and had all our meals in the house which was a little bit of a challenge because the kitchen is not yet fully stocked with cooking essentials but we managed to cook some amazing meals, (there are amazing two old school ovens that helped). The location is great if you want to ski or go for a relaxing day at a spa (there’s one basically right next door) or just enjoy a cozy winter day indoors. Chris was extremely fast to respond to any questions and very flexible with our check in and out times. there was a lot of information waiting for us at the home when we first got there, along with a complimentary bottle of wine and a bag of chocolate chip cookies. So basically this place is great and we had a wonderful time and will definitely try to stay here again. Enjoy!!!

    Gal2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Our family just spent a dreamy few days in Livingston Manor over Christmas- everything surpassed our expectations from the wintery views right outside to the beautiful decor to cozy details like two fireplaces and a pool table. There was enough to pass the time indoors but the proximity to the Arnold House and little hikes made it so convenient. Chris was a great host and quick to respond to any random questions we had. Thanks so much for such a great time!

Michelle and her family were great hosts, making sure everything was prepped and supplied, while allowing us to have good isolation and privacy. The weather got pretty severe through the night and we were dry as a bone. We even got to enjoy a good thunderstorm from the patio. Couldn't have been better.

  • Our stay at Brian and Christie’s was amazing! The house is clean, tidy, cozy and beautifully decorated — perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends. Brian and Christie were extra thoughtful and provided us with S’Mores ingredients as well as farm fresh eggs. The hot tub was great as well as the hike to the river which only took 20 minutes. They were super communicative from the start and always offered to help make our stay more comfortable with whatever we needed. Their check-out and check-in process was simple and easy. Would definitely recommend for a nice, cozy weekend away!

    Ashley2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great getaway spot! If you're looking to stay in a sparkling clean Ikea-esque showroom close to NYC - this is the place for you. Christie and Brian were amazing hosts, with quick, detailed communication and so much hospitality. It was snowy and a bit muddy (we obviously didn't check the weather) when we arrived and Brian graciously brought over extra jackets and snow boots to walk around outside with. He was so unobtrusive in checking the hot tub and collecting garbage and made our stay so pleasant. A perfect space for 6 and an overall excellent spot for a weekend getaway!

    Amanda2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect getaway!

    Maria2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

  • This place it definitely a place for some downtime and to just hangout with friends. I was with my fiancé and brother and his fiancé so being away from everything helped us connect and talk about things we wouldn’t normally talk about. A place to unplug and get closer to those who have drifted. Brian was a very relaxed and easy going guy right from the start. He was a wonderful care taker.

  • Best Airbnb in my 20+ stays over the years globally. Hosts are terrific. Very warm and accommodating. Live in a house on the grounds. House is pristine and modern without being sterile. Lot of character and cosy. Great modern amenities. Fully stocked kitchen with appliances and utilities. The MOST comfortable mattresses we have slept in (maybe ever??). Bright and airy with tons of windows. Excellent quiet and peaceful location in the mountains. Next to a lake and lot of woods. We went for a nice walk when it was snowing. Was the perfect long wkend getaway from NYC. I wouldn’t change a thing. Well maybe play with the hosts’ pup a bit more than we did. We will most definitely be back!!! :)

  • Christie’s place is fantastic! The inside is brand new, modern, clean. A real treat on a very nice piece of property. Right by the river. The jacuzzi is a nice touch on a cold night.

  • Such a perfect escape from the city! Anne-Marie’s cabin is adorable and so convenient from nyc. She was a gracious host and left plenty of local recommendations for hikes and sightseeing in the area. Would definitely recommend this place!

  • Anne-Marie’s place was absolutely perfect for our weekend Catskills getaway. The location is great, the cabin itself is very cozy and clean. We thought it would be really tiny but it was a great size for two. Would recommend highly.

its so quiet and you are almost guaranteed to see wildlife - from the horse farm down the road, to the abundance of deer everywhere, turkeys and groundhogs.. just to name a few
  • Extremely clean and quiet. Great place to stay.

  • Who ever goes there will get treat to a clean and friendly place to stay.plenty of property to explore and plenty of wildlife to see

    Lou2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at this wonderful cabin a bit after the fall foliage hit its peak. The nature outside the home was still beautiful and we enjoyed our mornings at the picnic table outside. The home is rightfully cozy and they had a great DVD selection. It was quite cold outside but their heater was able to keep us warm the entire time. We cooked several meals in the cabin and did not have any problems. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

  • 10/10 experience. Everything was as stated no hidden tricks. Beautiful experience from check in to check out. Spotlessly clean, tips for out of towners, communication. If we’re ever back in the area I’m definitely staying here.

    Connor2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome time at the cabin and exploring the area. Can’t wait to come back to the area again!

  • Good quiet weekend. Only about a 30 minute drive to the Woodstock site, a little closer to the road than I would have liked but a good cabin to get away to.

    Frank2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Just the Cabin, is much more than just a cabin, though we love how it got its name. A lovely comfortable home to relax unwind and enjoy nature. They provided all that is needed for your stay while giving you a clean and lovely environment. The location is scenic and peaceful, perfect to stay out side and unwind to. Just the Cabin is the perfect spot to get away.

    Andrew2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • clean, cute cabin. The best part is the 25 acres of (seemingly) very old woods that were great to wander around. House is next to a rarely-used road, but otherwise the property is very secluded.

  • Well, I just can't say enough about James and his cozy, wonderful flat in beautiful Livingston Manor. James is an absolute doll, and responded so fast to messages it made my head spin! The flat is lovely - well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, nice couch and easy chair. The town is gorgeous - definitely a weekenders paradise, it comes alive on Friday afternoons and stays hopping until Sunday evening. But, in my month there, I got to know some of the locals - salt of the earth! Peck's Market is literally 4 houses down the road, and it was a terrific market, with fresh baked breads and everything. Speaking of bread, don't miss Brandenburg Bakery (only open weekends) for some sweet treats, good bagels, really good breads, and one of the best croissants I have ever had - Paris included. Main Street Farm also makes their own bread for their super-yummy sandwiches, and you can eat overlooking the babbling Willowemoc river which runs right by. Oh, yes, there is a swimming hole in that river walking distance from the flat, with a tire swing and well-tended lawn area...gorgeous. I miss it already. Thanks, James!

    Deirdre2018-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great size apartment!! He was very hospitable and kind!! He was quick to fix any issues!! Thankful for my time there!!

    Brittni2018-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • James was an amazing host. He was kind and very helpful. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and just as the description states. It is close to shopping areas, had great parking access, and it’s in a beautiful and scenic area. The other tenants of the building are extremely friendly and helpful. I️ would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again.

    Brittany2017-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • James was such a wonderful and accommodating host, working with me on several changes to my stay. Communication prior to and during stay was always received and answered promptly. The apartment was very comfortable and quiet with many amenities within walking distance. I would most definately rest my head here again! Thanks again Jim!

    Valerie2016-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • My stay in Jim's rental was from later July to early November and I can honestly say that Jim is a great host. I was assigned to work in the Catskill Region of New York State and needed a furnished place to stay with very a flexible lease, since I didn't know if I would need the place for a month or a year. A friend suggested Airbnb. I found Jim's rental available, went to look at it and signed a month to month lease that was very reasonable. I found Jim to be a very accommodating host and quick to respond to and/or correct issues or problems. If I needed something done, it was done. A few examples include a new bed, new windows, the installation of a garbage disposal, a new bathroom vanity and tub and toilet draining issues. All were corrected almost immediately. The apartment itself was a very nice one bedroom furnished. The furniture is very comfortable. Included in the rent was cable and internet, heat and electric. There is no A/C but I found it wasn't necessary; just open a window a put a fan on and you'll be quite comfortable. There is adequate parking on a quiet street within walking distance to a few small cafes and restaurants and a grocery store. The neighbors when I was there are quiet and friendly. If you are there for an extended period of time, the cleaning person is available for hire and she did a nice job. She would come every other week and included in her very reasonable fee was laundry. You can't beat that! If you need a place to stay, I highly recommend this rental. You won't be disappointed.

My wife McKinley and I recently bought and gut renovated this cozy 3 bedroom house in our favorite area of the Catskills. The house has two full bathrooms, a massive master bedroom with a king bed, a huge bedroom with two double beds perfect for kids and a well lit and comfortable downstairs third bedroom. We love this house and hope to share it with other families and nature lovers.
The house is located near Livingston Manor, a charming small town with a few good restaurants and shops. We’re about a mile from a wonderful swimming hole and a well stocked general store.
  • We had a lovely time! It was so nice to hear the little stream burbling. The kitchen is excellent, and the fireplace made the house super cozy.

    Helena2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Adam and McKinley's home has everything you need for a perfect get away with a small group. We stayed here with our 10 month old baby during a snowy weekend in January. The house is spacious and clean with many cozy places to lounge and relax, and nice touches that really make it feel like a home that is lived in and well loved. It has a wood burning stove that kept the house toasty and warm despite the single digit temperature outside. The kitchen is fully stocked and functional, and there is a BBQ grill on the patio right outside. The house gets great natural light and has many windows so you can really appreciate that you are surrounded by trees and nature. We loved the sound of the creek flowing right by the house, the outdoor fire pit at night, and the field in the back where you can get a sense of space and appreciate the open sky. We really had a special time with our family here and would highly recommend staying here. Adam is very responsive by text and we really appreciated his hospitality.

  • This is a beautiful home and the perfect place to unwind. The fire pit by the stream, cozy couch by the fire, proximity to great hiking and large field for the pups to run around made for an awesome week in the Catskills! The beds were like clouds and towels soft and fluffy. Adam is a tremendous host!! Quick to respond with suggestions for hiking and great restaurants. Thank you for a great week!!

  • Great stay in Liberty! We were in town for a wrestling tournament at SUNY Sullivan, and did not want to stay in a hotel. Monica was in contact with me before we arrived to let me know what to expect upon arrival. She met us at the door as we pulled in, and showed us around the apartment, and told us to let us know if we needed anything. Beds were comfy, the kitchen and sitting room were charming, and the entire space was sparkling clean with plenty of linens and towels. I would highly recommend Monica's place if you are planning a visit to the Liberty area.

    Marina2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Monica’s cottage, very cozy!! It’s a separate apt on top floor of her house, but we felt completely private, Monica was very responsive and around to help when needed. Would stay with her again if we’re up in the area. Also can recommend Catskill Brewery and Upward Brewery 15 min north in Livingston Manor

    Blake2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Monica's place is as advertised, and other reviewers are correct - the space is very stylish and very comfortable. I loved reading in the study with some of the provided hot chocolate. • Mary's place was great for our group of four. There are plenty of beds and the house is very cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, plates etc as well as other cooking basics (oil, spices etc.). Check-in was easy even though we were a little late arriving. The location is close to the wild forest and Livingston Manor while being secluded. There were a few wasps that made it into one of the rooms, but they weren't bothersome and Mary responded quickly to take care of it. All in all a great place to stay!

    Camila2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cute! A lovely retreat away from it all for our half marathon girls weekend. And Mary is thorough and thoughtful- she has a comfortable home with lots of charm! We will be back:)

    Christy2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We often use Airbnb houses for our vacations and Mary's house is one of the best!

    Glenn2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's place is very quiet ,comfortable and super clean. The location is peaceful and safe, about 15 minutes from the scenic little town of Livingston Manor. Mary is a great host. Communication was excellent. On our first day there she met us and let us know if we needed anything just to ask. Everything was provided, we needed nothing. Our visit was for a wedding weekend. When it poured on the wedding day we found an oversized umbrella in the mudroom and we stayed dry walking to the car. This is one example. The home had many personal and thoughtful touches, ex: kids toys, s'mores ingredients wrapped in little baggies, fire starters, honeysuckle growing in front of the porch to watch the hummingbirds. So very homey. We didn't have much time to relax because of the wedding but were able to explore the town of Livingston Manor before heading home. We are glad we did. Farmers Market, friendly people, cute little shops. All in all a great experience. Mary deserves her 5 stars. We left something behind and she sent it home to us. We highly recommend Mary's place.

    Dan2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The house is clean and beautiful with nice furniture and living spaces. I went on a solo trip so 4 bedrooms were not needed, but the porch swing and fire pit were. Mary has flowers on her porch that humming birds love. I was visited by humming birds all day. The fire pit was amazing. There was wood provided but it was also very easy to gather wood quickly in just feet from the fire pit. Mary lives right next door so communication was extra easy. Everything was stocked from sugar and coffee to q tips and cotton balls. The only thing missing from the house was a microwave and a toaster, but I loved that there was a dishwasher and washer/dryer. It was a pretty quiet street and a lovely stay!

    Kate2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Mary is the consummate hostess. The house is beautifully situated on a crystal clear stream tucked into the Catskills. It is immaculately clean and provides all the amenities for a great experience. Mary is very knowledgeable about the area and provided us with great suggestions about where to go and what to do. If you would like to get out into the beautiful Catskill Mountains to do a little fishing or just to enjoy the tranquility of nature this is a fine place to start, A+ all the way!

    Daniel2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • I almost don't want to leave a review, because Mary's place is so nice that I'm afraid I won't be able to book it in the future! Do not hesitate to stay at Mary's, settle into the porch swing, and watch hummingbirds and deer roam about with the babbling brook in the distance. You cannot go wrong booking this place. Plus Livingston Manor and nearby Liberty are great little towns to walk through. The wifi is only good for simple things like checking email and casual internet surfing (i.e. don't expect to binge watch on your streaming service of choice). But why would you want to stay cooped up watching Netflix when you can enjoy nature's show at your doorstep!
