Sandy's first and only Tiny House! Although this home is located just a mile from Hwy 26 within Sandy's city limits, it's located on a private 23 acres, so you'll feel completely secluded. This makes it the perfect place to stay while visiting the Mt. Hood area. The tiny house was built to capture the amazing view of Mt. Hood. The home was designed around a moving window wall system that completely opens to the outdoors allowing for one of the best views of Mt. Hood. We hope you enjoy!!!
This is the first and only Tiny house in the Sandy area! A unique cabin feel made with natural cedar siding, reclaimed hardwood floors and doors, live edge counters, and beautiful craftsman handiwork throughout. There is no place like it!!
This beautiful tiny house is located in Sandy city limits with restaurants and stores nearby, but on a remote 23 acres. 30 minutes from Mt. Hood and skiing. 10 minutes from world class hiking/mountain biking. Also only 40 minutes to downtown Portland and PDX airport. The perfect in between location for outdoorsy adventure and city glam! We live just a mile off highway 26 but at the end of a short private road out on a bluff. It is very remote and extremely quite!!!
  • What a beautiful tiny house! Comfortable and exceptional views!

  • The view of Mt Hood is worth the visit! My hubby and I fell asleep while sitting on the couch in the sunshine. The next day we enjoyed watching robins play in the rain! Great communication, easy check in, spot on description of instructions, and everything you might need for a little getaway.

  • This tiny home has everything you could need for a special stay. The fireplace keeps it warms and provides moody lighting and the views of the mountain are spectacular on clear days. I was completely blown away by everything and definitely want to make a return trip.

  • Felt even larger than we expected on the inside... we loved the personal touches on the cabin and the kitchen was very user-friendly! Overall very clean and a great experience at this adorable tiny house.

  • A beautiful little spot!

    Raylynn2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Kim’s place is beautiful and when the sun is shining, the view of Mt Hood is amazing! Check in and check out is simple, a binder full of instructions on how to use items in the house is helpful, and a good list of places to eat nearby made making food choices easier. The house was very clean and homey. I would recommend taking a trip here.

FEATURED IN DWELL and SCHOOLHOUSE ELECTRIC. A gorgeous farm-setting just 15-minutes from downtown Portland; located on stunning Sauvie Island - a large river island and wildlife refuge - we are an organically-minded small farm and creative space. We love all the wild flora and fauna, and take great joy in wild spaces. A biking, birding, and aesthetic retreat from everyday life, we hope that each guest leaves feeling relaxed and inspired. The guest suite is modern, bright, and comfortable.
We have a gorgeous 300 square-foot guest suite (adjacent to our main house where we live) called "Tu Casa". It is located on our 7-acre+ farm on Sauvie Island - 10 miles from Downtown Portland, Oregon. Tu Casa is modern and bright and private, bursting with clean lines, lots of natural light, and a serene setting. You will have your own private bathroom, queen bed, small kitchenette for making cups of tea/coffee and light food prep, and lounge area with table workstation. There is also a covered patio with table and chairs just outside your french doors for your use alone. You can expect gorgeous views from every window and space on the property: an unreal view of St. Helens and the whole Cascade Range on a clear day and the surrounding orchards, vineyards, migrating birds, and farm animals everyday (we operate a sheep and alpaca fiber farm and both herds are right outside your windows). The sheep are known to linger right outside Tu Casa, making for a wonderfully sweet experience. Please do keep in mind that we have a hound dog and two full-of-joy toddlers, so some noise is common off and on between 8am-7pm, especially. There is also a rooster you can hear in the distance in the early mornings. If you are seeking true silence, our space is likely not a great fit.
In July and August, we have our upick blueberry season. You can pick to your heart's delight. We also usually have a load of farm fresh veggies and fruit for sale from our farm stand (onsite) from June 15-October 1. There is also a fabulous (packed on the weekends) sandy river beach about 15 minutes drive on island. So amazing. In Fall, three farms on the island have pumpkins, apple cider, and other Fall related stuff. Winter brings migratory birds, rain, and a real hunkering down feeling. Fog, fog horns, and the farmers sleeping in make it our second favorite season here. Whiskey by the fire and books. Spring is abound with bird watching, planting, and gorgeous sunrises. Biking happens year round.

Nestled in the private backyard of our family home, a neighborhood hub. The round, rustic, romantic MudHut hides in a secret garden overlooking the St. Johns bridge and sparkling river, near Cathedral Park, Forest Park, downtown St. Johns, canoe and hiking trails... Firepit, permaculture gardens, loaner bikes, community life, view!
Our hut was handbuilt by family, friends, and community with great love and serves as a guesthouse, homeschool hut, sauna and sanctuary. Wood-heated and candle-lit, it's a tranquil, rustic sleeping space. I recommend staying two nights for an immersive experience in the relaxing atmosphere. We are makers, artists and parents, and our land is a lively reflection of our creative life, often with projects brewing and children playing. A humming hive in a hidden wood on a bluff above the river.
We're in St. Johns, Portland's northern-most neighborhood and a small town of its own with a strong community identity here. Many families here trace their roots back to James John, the pioneer founder of St. Johns who is memorialized all over the neighborhood. Downtown St. Johns is a few blocks away, with plenty of restaurants (Thai, vegan, soulfood, chinese, pub grub, pizza, deli, breakfast, coffee & gelato), an old movie theater and shopping (lots of vintage). Cathedral Park, three blocks away, is gorgeous and photogenic with access to the Willamette River and the awesome overhead presence of the gothic St. Johns Bridge that you can see from the hut. We're also close to a lot of natural areas for urban hiking and paddling. Forest Park, full of trails and old growth forest, is right across the bridge. Just north of here is Kelley Point Park, the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers; Smith and Bybee Lakes, a wetlands for birding and paddling; and Sauvie Island, with beaches, farms, nurseries, hiking, fishing, & birding. We're on the Pacific migratory fly-way, so lots of raptor action around here. Bald eagles, peregrine falcons and hawks swoop by regularly.
  • A wonderful stay! There were too many cute touches to count, and it didn’t take long for it to feel like coming home when I opened the door of that cute little hut. Hospitality was phenomenal, ivy is an interesting and very kind person. Very worth the long drive !

    Angelia2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • the mud hut was more than a dream.. it was such an amazing experience and perfect stay for me and my boyfriends first time in oregon!! the views were an extra plus!!! before arriving i was very clueless on how to start a fire so if you’re new to that as well, ivy is more than willing to complete your coziness with a tutorial on how to start and keep a fire going all night. truly, i am sad to leave but i know a piece of me has stayed there forever!! thank you so much for this beautiful stay, and we hope to stay with you in the future!!

    Alyzabeth2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • This places is wonderful!!! The bathroom is not right in the hut but close. You do have to step outside to get to it but it was totally fine. The hut is so sweet, romantic, intimate and along with the hot tub we had such a relaxing stay here. The candle lights are beautiful and all the personal touches in the hut are just so incredible. 10/10 would stay again.

    Samantha2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Magical. This is more than a place to stay, it's an experience. Ivy was a great host. The place warmed up very quickly with the little wood stove. The bed is not sprung, which I really like. Good veiw of the bridge from the hot tub. The sound of the trains going by adds a lovely ambience to a special experience.

    Alistair2019-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • The space is amazing! I wasn’t expecting to feel so relaxed at an Airbnb! I will definitely be back and thanks for the travel tips Ivy.

  • Great place to stay!

    Rebecca2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place is truly magical. I felt like Frodo arriving to Rivendell after a long journey to be greeted by loving hospitality and a cozy and warm place to rest my head. The cats roaming about are super cute and lovey too.

  • Great hospitality, Rustic mud hut, hot tub, great scenery for photography, fire pit, covered lounge area, and super close to modern Portland City area but tucked away from the busyness of the city. 6/5 stars...

Serenity, privacy, and convenience in the exclusive Eugene South Hills. Nestled in the treetops yet minutes to the U of Oregon/downtown/I-5, this 3 level 900+ sq ft dedicated guest suite has a private entrance, walls of windows, a woodburning fireplace, an outdoor hot tub, a king size bed, wi-fi, cable/Netflix, self check-in/check-out, keyless entry, new ductless HVAC, and a masseuse available. This is the #1 Airbnb in Eugene (per Google) used for honeymoons, getaways, and a music video.
The 900+ square foot guest suite is a split level converted library on the bottom floor of the main house with a bedroom/living area below and a dining/bathroom/kitchenette area above. It offers a separate private entrance, amazing views of the valley from tree top views from the deck, a comfortable couch and a king size bed. Deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife wander by in the 1/2 acre wooded backyard which you are welcomed to walk through. Take a nap in the hammock as you listen to the birds chirp around you. Relax in the outdoor hot tub as you gaze at the city lights at night or enjoy the romantic twinkling deck lights (and thanks to a new water resistant cantilever umbrella that covers the hottub, you can sit in it even when it's raining). Chat with Alexa and let her play some tunes, set your alarm, give you the weather forecast or the news, or recommend restaurants in the area. Or get cozy in front of the wood burning fireplace and LED candles as you binge watch HBO on Demand/Netflix on the HD TV. There's even a PS3 with some games and blue ray movies for ya. Some even use the air mattresses to sleep outside on the deck under the stars (and the twinkly balcony lights). Either way, many find themselves staying in simply to relax and enjoy the place. This suite is only used for guests so you won't feel like you are living in someone else's space or intruding on someone else's privacy. Plus with the new ductless HVAC you can set the temperature you want in the place. The house (and suite) is located on a quite cul de sac so parking/traffic is never a problem and the street is large enough for moving trucks. You can also use two comfortable queen size air mattress to add more beds to the place. And while the kitchen does not have a full oven or stove top, it does have a new gas grille, portable gas burner, microwave oven, small electric grill, and keurig coffee/tea maker. Plus the hot tub is on year around with a canopy umbrella that covers if if needed so that you can use it even when it rains. Also, be aware that the place is generally not available for pets as some folks in our family are allergic to pet dander. If you have a pet during your stay, the cleaning fee will be $100 due to the extensive cleaning required. And please keep all pets off furniture as that is hardest to clean. We've had wonderful guests leave us some nice comments. Here are just a few: - "This was my second time staying here and it will continue to be my go-to Airbnb any time I’m in Eugene." - "This place is so much more than any pictures could explain. We felt so safe, secure, and at one with nature. Thank you so much for letting us into your life." - "This place is the best AirBnB I have ever stayed at. Exceeded expectations and the hosts went above and beyond to make this place an amazing experience. I can’t recommend this place enough!" - "We were absolutely blown away by their place! Never have we had an experience like this one, being surrounded by the law books, novels, and not to mention the area itself ..." - "Wow, what a gorgeous spot in Eugene ... This has to be the best Airbnb in Eugene." - "If I could give Joseph and his place 10 stars, I would! This place is AMAZING!!" - "Our family came into Eugene and all had separate Airbnb spaces. We had the best and everyone hung out with us." - "Staying here was the icing on the cake for our Oregon trip! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was definitely a highlight of the trip." - "This was a perfect airbnb, and by far my favorite." - "I was tremendously pleased at how unique and fun this was, especially for the price. Beats the heck out of a hotel." - "All I can say is: do not pass up the chance to stay at this place. Every minute of our stay was just wonderful. " - "Joseph’s place was incredible. Period. If you can stay here, do it." We've been fortunate to host kind and appreciative guests and would be happy to welcome you as well. Pricing is based on Airbnb's automated smartpricing which determines a low price based on demand, etc. for similar rentals in Eugene. So the earlier you book, the better your price (usually). Of course, discounts for longer bookings are available. Plus, as an Airbnb user myself, I don't believe you should pay for extra people when the same space is used and will try to accommodate late check-outs or early check-ins without charge when possible but please let us know in advance so we can coordinate with other guests and housekeeping.
This is one of the most respected and exclusive neighborhoods in Eugene. Everyone is very friendly and you will absolutely get the serenity, privacy, and rest you are looking for so allow you to enjoy and make the most of your time in this wonderful small city.
  • I've used Airbnb about 15 times and this was without a doubt the best experience ive had so far. Joseph and Radmila's place was super clean and spacious. Communication was extremely fast and self check in was a breeze. The outdoor Hottub was absolutely splendid. I advise anyone who is staying in Eugene to stay here.

Dustin welcomed us when we got there and they suggested a number of places in the neighborhood which were lovely and very close. We absolutely loved this neighborhood, everything you need in walking distance. Thanks Dustin and Genevieve!

  • The pictures are accurate, it’s right next to the river, super beautiful view. When the sun is out, the patio is the PERFECT spot to be. I would say bring super warm clothes during the cold, the cabin was super cold the whole time we were there, the heater was not our friend. Also bring your own DVD’s, there’s a DVD player. Lastly, i RECOMMEND to eat at Vida cafe, best thing about this whole trip was their homemade breakfast, i fell in love.

    Mariah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is super cute and cozy, and right on the river! The only negative thing is the road noise during the day (it stops at night).

    Yoko2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Million dollar view totally breathtaking. Upon our arrival home was cozy, lights on, very clean and ready to relax. Host was truly incredible I can honestly say one of the best ever. Took great care of us, made sure we were comfortable and offered great suggestions for where to eat and places to visit. The sound of the river was dreamy while falling asleep in our very comfortable bed. Highly recommend:)

  • The first night we were supposed to stay at the cabin the power went out, Scott called and let us know, bought us dinner and called air bnb to help get us another place for the night. The next day we were able to go and the place was absolutely beautiful. Will definitely be back.

    Alyssa2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is clearly well taken care of. Everything was so clean and in place, but it was homey. We felt so comfortable in there! The view is so beautiful and there was so much peace just being right on the river. I love all the windows!!! The host was great and worked with us, but also allowed the space we were expecting to just enjoy our time away. It is so close to the hot springs.... you can’t miss out!!! Even in the rain, it was an amazing experience. Can’t wait to re visit in the summer !

    Shanelle2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic! Right on the river and conveniently located to different hikes and hot springs in the area. The hosts were very accommodating and communicative through the entire process. The cabin itself was perfectly quaint and cozy - I would highly recommend this spot!

  • Every little detail attended to...beautiful space. Lovely hosts. Location perfect for short walks to fun shopping / eating areas and the neighborhood is full of beautiful homes and gardens.

    Alison2019-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Overall amazing experience. Great location! Relaxing and unique place to stay. Highly recommend James & Joelle as hosts.

    Stephanie2018-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of my favorite Air BnBs ever. Joelle and James created such a comfy space in their home for me and their location was fantastic, nestled in between two of the most happening hoods in Portland. I highly recommend this place to anybody!

    Julia2018-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t wait to visit again! The cottage was very cozy and clean! The house Joelle and James own is BEAUTIFUL! you will feel comfortable during your stay! They respect your privacy and are there if you need anything.

    Lauren2018-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • The urban garden suite is as charming as the photos! The location is a quick bus ride from downtown and in a quirky and hip neighbourhood. Joelle and James were very accommodating to our late arrival and were excellent hosts. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Portland!

    Andrea2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Joelle and James are exceptional hosts. The garden cottage is charming and beautifully laid out. The bed is super comfy, lovely sheets and towels. The home is on a quiet street with a tranquil garden. We enjoyed coffee outside and Joelle’s baked treats. In the midst of a busy family weekend, this cottage was a quiet refuge.

    Julie2018-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing retreat in the home. You are staying in a quiet comfortable space, with the flowers surrounding you and the neighbors water feature lulling you to sleep. The location was safe, and close to many great restaurants and cafes. It is important to understand you are sharing common areas with the owners including the kitchen. I did not cook when I was there but was able to use the refrigerator. The bathroom is private but is in the house.

  • Beautiful, unique studio space and home, warm hosts who offer information and recommendations about the surrounding area; thoughtful touches like homemade treats and handwritten notes; a neighborhood walkable to fantastic restaurants, cafes, ice cream, and shopping; couldn’t ask for more! Would highly recommend!

A quiet, cozy bedroom & a bathroom on the ground floor of a beautiful, modern new home in a verdant, friendly Southeast Portland neighborhood. Enthusiastic greeting by very friendly dogs & cat comes standard!
As a courtesy to our guests, our check-in time is 2:00 pm; however, as we both work weekdays, we cannot have the rooms ready until 5:30 or so. What this means is that our guests are welcome to make themselves at home in their living room or just drop their bags off and head out exploring, but they won't be able to rest their weary heads or hit the showers until we've had a chance to get home and tidy up. There is an entire floor available in our newish home smack-dab in the heart of fun, accessible Southeast Portland! This means that our guest(s) get not only their own quiet bedrooms, but also a private full bathroom AND their own nicely-appointed living room (please note: the first-floor living room is NOT private, as it does not have a ceiling and is the way between the front door of the house and the stairs to the second floor). We are steps away from a frequent-service bus line, a terrific ramen shop, a pizza joint, two coffee shops, and, best of all, a Trader Joe's! The house is about two miles south of the trendy Hawthorne district, one mile south of nationally-recognized Division Street, and about four miles east of downtown Portland. The house itself is a beautiful, soaring Doug Fir- and hemlock-constructed dream home decorated with one-of-kind glass art pieces and potted succulents. Our guests have access to our fabulous kitchen in addition to their own first-floor amenities. We have a very friendly housecat you will likely meet during your stay, but the guest bedroom and guest bathroom doors are kept closed for the comfort of allergen-sensitive guests. We also have two friendly dogs who will greet you eagerly upon your arrival, but who otherwise spend their time hanging out with us and don't wander much to the guest floor. Lastly, to our guests during the colder months: the guest floor tends to be the coolest in the house, and we provide space heaters and afghans for your comfort, but we figure we should let you know ahead of time that if you run cold, ours may not be the ideal place for your stay.
Our neighborhood is so great! We are really close to several cool Portland hubs, but we're on a relatively quiet residential street so we truly have the best of all worlds.
  • We enjoyed our stay with Brad and Becca. It was good value in a well appointed and located home.

    Liza2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Brad & Becca’s place is incredibly stylish and has a lot of beautiful artistic touches. Brad is an amazing host from sharing local tips to making sure you feel welcome in his home and Portland. Location is very good and public transportation/car gets you to downtown in 15 mins or less. Highly recommend staying here!

  • Super affectionate cat and a pretty aesthetic place, super comfy beds and lots of plants made it perfect!

    Bobby2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Brad & Becca’s place was amazing. Along with being perpendicular to a busy spot in the city filled with great food, the highlight of my trip was the addition of the three furry little friends; Zuzu, Carlos, and Diego. Brad and Becca were very accommodating to our ever changing schedule and made sure we had the best experience they could offer. Would definitely stay again.

Barney B's Cornett is a brand new cozy, fully furnished private barn-remodel that has it all! King bed in the lofted sleeping quarters, kitchette, spacious bath and peaceful views. Not to mention the privacy. Very very private. Minutes from the amazing Samuel Boardman State Park, City of Brookings and Gold Beach. Pets ok upon approval*, Refundable cleaning fee*
  • This place is a little gem of a sanctuary. Off the beaten path just outside of Brookings for a more private setting with outstanding views, sunrises, deer, and the occasional barn kitty. The space itself is full of light, ease and comfort. We will definitely be recommending it to friends and family and will ourselves be back to nest and explore more of the huge coast line and beyond. Mary was thoroughly responsive and easily available if we needed. Overall it was a fantastic way to enjoy Southern Oregon and feel right at home in her cozy accommodations.

    Holly2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a gorgeous space! It was clean, really unique and had such a beautiful view of the mountains and stars. This will definitely be my go-to when coming back to Brookings!

  • Fantastic nook tucked away on the Southern Oregon coast!

    Kellin2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's space was lovely. It was nice and quiet, just perfect for what we wanted. This space was eclectic and we felt right at home. There were touches that made us feel safe and secure in a new environment 😊 I would highly recommend this space, as it was clean, quiet, and easy to navigate.

    Dari2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The space for guests is in a small pole barn type building that has been stylishly converted on the inside to a bright & airy studio with a loft space for sleeping. The space is really great for couples on a getaway. King bed with comfortable linens & pillows. Lots of light, high ceilings & a wall of windows facing East, which allows perfect view of the sunrise from the loft in the AM and a wooded valley below. The pellet stove heats the space via the wall thermostat. It kicked on at night automatically when it got below the 65 degree setting. You’ll hear the pellets trickle into the firebox like little pebbles falling, shortly before it fires up. Cell service there with Verizon was great, Wi-Fi is excellent, & we watched a Netflix on our laptop in bed with no issues. Mary is super friendly and knows tons about the area if you have any questions. We had some fun chatting about plants & the great weather there. Mary has put a lot of work into making the place comfortable. Dutch Bro’s for our lattes as usual when we are away from our home machine. Try them if your from out of state & love your latte, but hate Starbucks. We ate at Black Trumpet Bistro for dinner & Rose Compass Cafe for breakfast, and can endorse both.

    Leah2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Such a gorgeous space in a beautiful setting

    Carol2020-02-21T00:00:00Z

Lovely 2 br. cottage nestled beside a pond w water feature. Kitchen, open sleeping loft with skylights, bath w shower and washer/dryer. Lots of natural light. Can accommodate an entire family comfortably. Private entry on lg. lot through gated backyard.
Nestled in the back corner of a large lot under the canopy of a beautiful mimosa tree, this private cottage offers a full kitchen with sit-up bar, a full bath with a washer/dryer, and a sleeping loft with crow's nest. It's perfect for a couple, two couples, or a small family.
We are located in a sweet older neighborhood in inner SE Portland, built around the turn of the century. The neighborhood is extremely walkable/bikeable, and just two blocks from one of Portland's great restaurant rows, filled with unique locally owned restaurants, coffeehouses, bars, food carts, pot shops, ice cream vendors, pizza joints, clothing retailers, yoga studios and yes, even an old-school hardware store. And all of this just 15 minutes from downtown.
  • Great host and an amazing space that is within a short drive of downtown. Spacious enough for four people with a great kitchen, living room, bathroom, and loft. I would definitely recommend this place.

You have everything you need during your stay in this newly remodeled 1910 Artists Loft; Adorned in local art! A luxurious Queen bed in a lofted bedroom overflowing with 30 ft windows of natural light! A completely remodeled kitchen, stainless steal appliances, and comfy queen sleeper couch with memory foam topper. 2 short blocks away from bustling Alberta walking street while still getting a quiet nights rest! Across the street from Alberta Park, at the back of our property.
The house is located in our backyard in the heart of the Alberta Arts District. Rob, the host, is an award winning photographer and his art of local attractions surround the home. A packet of self-made recommendations awaits you that hosts Sylvia and Rob have put together so you can make sure to hit all the hot spots! Maps, attraction brochures, and local magazines will also help educate you on local Oregon secrets while you sip complimentary local coffee or tea or unwind from your travels in the large hot tub! This home was just finished and newly reconstructed from 1910. The beams of the structure are made out of rail road car bottoms from the early 1900's, they measure an amazing 22 feet long! The main floor is original from 1910, you will notice the unique cracking and lines that have formed throughout the generations. The railing on the loft is made out of mild steel, custom welded in place. The height of the ceiling is a whopping 30 feet tall! The park across the street includes a basketball court, dog off-leash area, two playgrounds, soccer field, softball field and tennis court, as well as paved and unpaved paths and picnic tables.
It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood just 2 short blocks away from bustling Alberta walking street, Killingsworth, and near by Mississippi Street! All these streets have the best culinary restaurants, coffee shops, tea houses, and boutiques that Portland has to offer. Highlights include Concordia University, Salt and Straw Famous Ice Cream, Great Notion Brewery, Blue Star Donuts, DOZENS of coffee shops and breweries, McMenamins Kennedy School, and the house is located directly across the street from Alberta Park, a 17 acre Park. You will find hand painted murals all over the neighborhood. The area has very cool history engraved into the old streets of this very renovated hip area. Very open and friendly neighborhood to walk around for a stroll in the park or hit the surrounding action.
  • Would absolutely recommend staying here. Stylish space, incredible location and clean home.

    David2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful. It's a small fully equipped house with a modern style and a hot tub I didn't have a chance to enjoy.

    Thierry2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Rob & Sylvia were prompt and professional in their communication. The place was clean and newly built - we particularly liked the hot tub

    Erik Brakstad2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very neat and clean space. Loved seeing the artwork on the walls. Host responded quickly when we requested to use the hot tub and made sure everything was ready for us (even though I chickened out because it was freezing outside). Close ride to downtown and would definitely stay again. Parking spot requires talented parallel parker, or you could just park on the street.

    Madeline2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, easy walk to Alberta area, super clean, and great hosts!!

    Daryl2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Rob & Sylvia’s place was EXTREMELY clean. It was spotless. I also felt extremely safe. Nobody bothered my girlfriend and I, and we both had a blast there. The neighborhood was very calm and quiet, and literally two blocks down there are many restaurants, stores, etc. Thank you very much for everything.

    Oscar2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great space. Beautiful inside and out. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after exploring the nearby areas all day. Rob and Sylvia were great and responded right away when we had questions. I would highly recommend everyone stay here.

    Tiarra2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Rob and Sylvia were quick to respond and had great recommendations for things to do in the area. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long vacation day. Keep in mind, there isn’t a tv (or books or games that I saw.) Mostly just a place to lay your head at night (although the kitchen is nice and open.) Great area of Portland to explore though.

The Nautilus is themed to reminisce a submarine, the Nautilus features an upstairs bedroom and bathroom with boilerplate spiral stairs to the main salon and galley (kitchen) at ground level. The main salon/galley features a cozy electric fireplace, kitchenette and small dining table. FYI, the fire place is currently (as of Mar 15, 2020) down for repairs. We do have a small portable heater for the front room. This condo still a great value for close beach access.
Here's the fine print: The Nautilus has no beach view. It is on the backside of our building, and one cannot see the ocean from our condo. But step outside 20 paces and the whole panorama of the Oregon coast spreads out before you! Realistically speaking, The Nautilus is great for a short-term stay, but probably not 10-14 days...you will want to see the view! Also, the bathroom door is 24 inches wide and the spiral stairs are only 20 inches wide and are steep with 9 inch high steps. These could be physical challenges for some, and we want to fully disclose them. Now, go the the beach and enjoy!
Our property is located between the Pacific Ocean and Hwy 101.
  • It was a great experience . Thx to Dan and Teresa for making our trip easier 😉

  • The location was perfect. So nice to be able to walk down to the coast. I appreciated having a kitchen to use since I stayed during the Christmas holiday. The description is accurate. I just want all future guests to know that I'm a size 12 and the shower didnt provide any extra space. I'm not sure how larger sizes will navigate the stairwell otherwise it was perfect for 1 person. I bet its cozy with 2. I would stay again!

  • I had a great stay at Christophers. I loved that we had somewhere to park the car as with previous visits to Portland, not having a spot can be time consuming and troublesome. The place was great for what we needed, which was a safe and cozy place to come back to and that allowed our dog along as well. We brought her own bed and she had no troubles. Would stay again!

Magic Barn, circa 1936, former sculpture studio restored by community artists with old growth barn wood, upcycled furnishings, kitchen, claw foot bath, baby amenities, with a sculpture garden. Built with Love! We are permitted by the city of Portland to host 10 guests at the Magic Barn and The Magic House, which are adjacent. Please feel free with questions to see if we can accommodate the needs of your large or small group: The Magic House Link: https://airbnb.com/h/themagichouse Cannabis is legal in Oregon. You are welcome to responsibly smoke tobacco and cannabis outside only. There are many dispensaries within walking distance. Family amenities are available upon request: portable crib, baby bath, high chair, etc. The Magic Barn was Todji's sculpture studio for fifteen years. Most of the sculptures in the sculpture garden were sculpted right here and are exhibited for everyone to experience. When Todji first moved into the main house as a renter, the Magic Barn was a crooked old shed with broken windows, no electricity, water or heat and was filled with trash. Todji turned it into his sculpture studio, and then purchased the house in 2004 when banks were giving loans to anyone, including self-employed artists! Todji rented rooms to other artists while restoring the old house and building his career as a fine art sculptor. Todji and Gisele painted the outside of The Magic House and Magic Barn with seven colors over three summers. During the summer of 2015 Todji designed and built the Magic Barn with the talented carpenters and fine art painters Theo Holdt and TJ Ravenwolf. The interior wood siding are salvaged old growth barn planks, and the ceiling is made of the original 1936 rafters and sheathing. Look at the outside walls to see the twist in the structure, and Gisele's beautiful painting! TJ’s painting is hanging above the couch. TJ is native American from the Alaskan tribes of Koyukon Athabaskan and Muscogee Creek. TJ collected all of the natural pigments in the painting from areas around Oregon in prayer, and his prayer in painting now graces the Magic Barn. Todji and Gisele produce public art bronze sculpture monuments for US cities which you may already have seen, or that you may see one day. Hobie is your onsite host and he He is a novelist and professional writer. He is available to both respect privacy and also assist during your stay. We support the local art community by giving cleaning and maintenance work at the Magic House to community artists. Thank you for reading our story, we hope to host you at the Magic Barn!
The Magic Barn is centrally located in one of the most charming and hip neighborhoods in Portland. With the center of both SE Hawthorne and SE Division St within 3 blocks, there is an abundance of restaurants, boutique browsing, grocery stores, neighborhood strolling, and park hiking options within walking distance. See a movie, or just step in to witness the beautiful and iconic McMenamin's Bagdad theater, accompanied by an incredible restaurant/bar/pool hall in the back called the "Back Stage Bar", at SE 37th and Hawthorne. It will give you a feel for classic Portland! We are minutes from Mt Tabor park which has a lovely forest with walking trails sitting upon a dormant volcano, and we are 45 minutes to the spectacular 600 foot tall Multnomah waterfall in the gorgeous Columbia River Gorge scenic area. Division is the new up and coming Southeast neighborhood. With lots of modern architecture, new restaurants and shops you will get a feel for the freshest vibe Portland has to offer. Here is a list to get you started: Restaurants: (The options are endless but here are a few popular favorites!) Serving Food Late - Sapphire Hotel at 50th and Hawthorne, Romantic and sexy atmosphere- great for late night drinks and gourmet bar food. Began as a food cart, but grew into a Restaurant Empire. Worth the wait. Bollywood Theater- 30th and Division, Indian food small plates. Also along line but worth it! Salt and Straw- 33rd and Division, Food Networks top five ice creams! Super Popular! Lauretta Jeans- 34th and Division, Breathtaking Pies! Below are the names of hikes that we love and recommend. Check the website to find a hike with a distance and fitness level that suits you. For those who are visiting the gorge for the first time, I recommend visiting the most spectacular, and also the most touristicated, 600 foot Multnomah Falls. Continental breakfast (muffins, juice, water, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal) is provided. It will be in the yurt when you arrive. Will replenish as needed. Coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave and small refrigerator. Dishes, silverware, glassware included. Small propane grill outside.
We're in a semi rural area with long views to the west. There is a grocery store located about 2 miles south of us, in Murphy. We are located just at the northern end of the Applegate Wine Trail. More than a dozen wonderful Oregon wineries are located within a short drive. The city of Grants Pass and the mighty Rogue River are about 6 miles north of us. Crater Lake, Redwoods Park and the Oregon Coast are all within a 2 hour drive. Make us part of your road trip!
  • If you're going to southern oregon you must stay here!! This enchanting and beautiful yurt totally exceeded our expectations for glamping. My partner and I wanted to plan a weekend getaway without too much actual planning, so this yurt was the only thing we booked. Kathleen and Richard make everything PERFECT so that you don't have to worry about anything. Each detail shines: from the hot tub, to the breakfast, the classic record collection, the cozy linens, to the beautiful decor inside and out! The outdoor grill was also one of our favorite amenities. Everything is sparkling clean. They gave us space to be alone on the property and enjoy each others' company, but it was also nice to know they were just a stone's throw away if we needed anything! Grant's Pass and Applegate are super cute. You can explore the Schmidt winery, or a multitude of others down applegate road, so beautiful! It was positively blissful and the only thing sad about it was leaving! We can't wait to go back <3

Our tiny log cabin is a cozy getaway, close to hiking, mountain biking, and cross country skiing but only 10 miles from all the amenities of Bend Oregon. It is a rustic place, but has some modern touches, like a gas range and refrigerator, and a gas fireplace that provides the heat without the need to stoke a woodstove. The bathroom is detached from the cabin - steps from the front door. It is fully equipped. Our place is perfect for people who love the outdoors with the comforts of home.
Our 500 square foot cabin has a sleeping loft with a queen bed. There is also a single day bed on the main level. The cabin is heated by a gas fireplace and has a full size gas range. Please note : The steps to the sleeping loft are quite steep and the terrain around the cabin is forest. Our place is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. We are located near multiple mountain biking trails and about 2.5 miles from the Tumalo Falls trailhead. Price is slightly higher in winter months because of the cost of snow removal. 4 WD or all wheel drive may be needed to drive all the way to the cabin.
  • Wonderful cabin in the woods! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect and cozy getaway.

    Annie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I'll keep it short ... stay here! I 100% loved every second of my time here and will be returning in the future.

    Jamie2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place, the absolute perfect getaway!! We enjoyed a nice hike at Tumalo Falls and played lots of scrabble staying warm by the cozy fire. The cabin is lovely for the winter and I imagine will be just as good in the summer, we will be back for sure! Already looking forward to it.

  • Beautiful little place here! Perfect for a winter getaway with my fiance. Very cozy place to come back to after a day of snowshoeing. Quiet and tucked away, this place had everything needed in terms of amenities, was well set up, and was a gorgeous spot to cuddle up and watch the snow fall. Such a warm vibe here, will probably return for another stay in the future!

    Ashley2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is the cutest cabin ever! By being only 10 short miles from the heart of Bend, you get the best of both worlds by being close to the city, while staying in the rejuvenation and comfortable surroundings of the woods.

Our private detached garden studio sits in the heart of a quiet residential neighborhood and is a short stroll to top restaurants, food carts, and shopping in trendy Southeast Portland. The space is compact -- about 240sf! -- but cozy, bright and a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Portland!
Our newly-renovated, cozy studio includes a new queen bed, vaulted ceilings, full bathroom, kitchenette, and small sitting area. It's fully detached from the main house, so offers complete privacy. Skylights, french doors, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide views of the west hills and flood the room with natural light, even on the grayest of drizzly Portland days. It's small --about 240sf-- but the space is well utilized with many amenities such as wireless Bluetooth speaker, Portland maps and guides, and comfy pillows and blankets to make it feel like home. It's best suited for guests seeking space to relax and recharge after a day of exploring Portland; If you're needing more of a "hangout spot" this may not be the best choice. The studio has a full bathroom with shower (no tub). The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, sink, instant hot water, coffee maker, microwave and everything you need for reheating leftovers from the many restaurants and food carts nearby. Complementary tea and coffee are provided along with a long list of our favorite local restaurants.
We love living in the heart of the Richmond neighborhood! Nestled on a quiet, residential street, we're a short stroll (about 1/3mi) to two main restaurant and retail districts of SE Portland--Division Street and Hawthorne Blvd. A 4-block walk brings you to a bus stop that can get you most anywhere else in town. Our location is best for guests wanting to experience Portland from a local's perspective; If you'd rather be in closer proximity to downtown touristy areas, we may not be the best option. A short walk from the studio brings you to food, shopping and entertainment (to name a few of our favorites): PokPok, Salt & Straw, Ava Gene's, Bollywood Theater, Blue Star Donuts, Food Cart pods, Little T Bakery, St Honore, as well as a myriad of boutiques, shops and independent movie theaters on Hawthorne, Clinton and Division streets. You'll likely meet some friendly neighborhood cats during your stay, but due to severe allergies, our studio is animal- and allergen-free. You may also spot our eyepatch-wearing, kung fu-performing neighbor (and good friend) practicing in the street, sometimes alongside his 5yo daughter and toddler son. He’s a world-renowned martial artist and teacher, is super friendly and adds some true Portland character to our otherwise sleepy neighborhood!
  • We had a wonderful time! There were so many thoughtful touches that made our experience an amazing one. From the delicious ground coffee to the book full of local restaurant suggestions, Melissa goes above and beyond. The location was perfect. We walked to Division and/or Hawthorne Street daily, admiring the quiet neighbourhood full of unique, colourful homes along the way. If you are looking to stay in Portland, I don’t know why you would stay anywhere else. :)

    Kelsey2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing spot. Wonderful hospitality. So many cute little comfortable touches and a really great space overall. Melissa was super responsive and really kind, and made the stay that much better. I highly recommend this spot to anyone and everyone!!

  • Amazing! Guys, THIS is the place to stay of you are visiting Portland! Perfect location to go out and see the city, very private and quiet for sleeping, & has everything you need to stay in the whole time if that's what you want!

    Lindsey2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa and her husband were very kind and welcoming. The space was beautiful, super clean and very perfect for my needs!

  • The place is cozy and perfectly located to restaurants, coffee shops, stores and breweries. Melissa is a thoughtful and responsive host. And she has great neighborhood recommendations!

  • I can't say enough good things about our stay. The studio was in a great location, was clean, beautifully decorated, cozy and had great amenities. Melissa and Brian were also such great hosts. I would definitely stay here again!

    Nicole2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy & Cleeeaaan studio in Portland. Beautiful scenery with windows on the top. Even though Portland was almost all rainy when I was there, I felt so happy and comfy thanks to the studio. I even thought it was much better to be caught in the rain so that I could stay in the studio more with the mood! Thanks for letting me stay for 3 nights. Everything was so lovely.

    Soomi2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 4th stay and our 4th Airbnb in Portland. We finally found the perfect place! Melissa's pre-stay communication was helpful and charming...as was the lovely little hideaway that we called home for 4 days. Besides being spotlessly clean, it was decorated in such an upbeat cozy way that we couldn't help but feel right at home. The location was a short walk from dining, shopping, (did I mention dining??), and taking in the wonder that is Portland. I'm delighted to say that we've already booked time in June for our return visit.

A very clean, comfortable room with a private entrance, private bath, king-sized bed, beautiful view, great natural light, and a private deck overlooking the forest and wetlands with the bay in the distance. Included are a large private bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, WiFi, TV with cable. We’re a small working llama farm only a 4-mile drive from the ocean in a rural setting overlooking a Nature Conservancy.
The private suite is attached to the main house. There are no shared spaces except for the driveway. You have a private entrance, private bath, and private deck. The deck overlooks a beautiful forest and wetlands that are owned by The Nature Conservancy. The light and landscape are perfect for artists who paint. Enjoy nature walks and biking without having to drive, and there are dozens of other trails for hiking and biking within 5 to 30 minutes. There is a popular kayaking area 15 minutes away. The Oregon Coast Aquarium and Hatfield Marine Center are 25 minutes to the north, Cape Perpetua is 25 minutes to the south, and the Heceta Head Lighthouse is 40 minutes away. Feed our llamas by hand if you like!
We are located in a beautiful valley on the north side of the Alsea Bay. We are on a gravel road that runs next to the bay. Our nearest neighbors are a quarter of a mile away, but you can't see their homes. The room looks out over a forest and wetlands.
  • If I could give Toni and Paul a 10 star rating I would! Their place is amazingly comfortable with everything you could possibly want. They are the best Airbnb hosts we have experienced yet so far and we use Airbnb a lot. It’s just a short drive to hiking and the beaches if you can pull yourself away from the adorable animals and the peace and quiet of your room and view. Highly recommended staying here!!

    Sharon2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space cute and cozy. Beautiful views and quiet. Our first 2 days were sunny and nice and our last day was windy and rainy (which I loved the sounds of wind and rain) it is a little off the beaten path of the main road. It well worth the extra few minute drive. You might see a pack of Elk In the fields like we did. Nice shower and separated jacuzzi bathtub very spacious bath area. Cozy bed with tv and a white noise machine if you like. Loved the blue lit faucets and toilets and tidy kitchen area with snacks coffee and tea. I would have loved to have some ice available, but there was cold water and drinks in the mini fridge available. We had a great stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

    Holly2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This room was extremely cozy, private, and filled with surprises! You get a great view of the landscape during the day and a magical star filled sky at night.

    Samuel2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a peaceful, refreshing time in Waldport with Toni and Paul's place as our home base. We had 3 beautiful sunny days in February (go figure!) and enjoyed the beach, sunsets and peace and quiet. Toni and Paul are truly super hosts who balance hospitality with privacy perfectly. The llamas and Missus are added bonuses!

    Mary2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely amazing stay. Surrounding area is beautiful. Toni and Paul are extremely hospitable. Feeding their llamas in the morning was so fun.

    Oliver2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • THE HOSTS: Toni and Paul were prompt to communicate with us leading up to our stay and provided a wealth of helpful infomration regardng Waldport and the surrounding areas. Upon our arrival, we were met with a smile, given an orientation of the space and amenities and were made to feel very welcome from the start. We fed the llamas and learned all kinds of cool things about them, we didn't know before. THE STAY: What a lovely place! Its set in a very picturesque location and the guest suite was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean and had everything and more we could ask for. We loved the super comfy bed, direct tv at night and the huge bathroom with all the bells and whistles. The kitchenette offered coffee and tea, perrier and orange juice as well as a variety of snacks. The VERDICT: If you want an amazing stay with friendly, helpful hosts, all the comforts of home and let's not forget the llamas!...this is the place for you! We will defintely be back. Thank you, Toni and Paul!

  • Every effort possible was made to make this rental perfect. Best super hosts we have stayed at to date. Such thoughtful touches. Enjoyed every bit of our stay.

    Steve2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a place to restore your mind, body, and spirit look no further. Toni & Paul are impeccable hosts. The suite is filled with thoughtful touches and is stylishly decorated. But the best is outside on your private deck which overlooks the pasture (llamas!) and the bay. We were reluctant to leave and are already planning our return.

A mid-century hideaway with panoramic ocean views, perched on a hillside just 2 blocks above the beach and quaint Oceanside Village. A quintessential Oregon get-away....quasi-rustic with all the right creature comforts. The Hideaway is Emily's new listing - just a few steps down from Oceanside A-frame, Unit A.
The Hideaway is tucked into the hillside, so you must be able to navigate stairs to access it. The layout is great for couples or folks that like to be cozy together :) We've just finished updates to the kitchen and bathroom, but there is plenty of original mid-century charm as well. The Hideaway has all the creature comforts - fluffy bathrobes, down comforter, good coffee and your own music streaming.
2 blocks from the A-frame, Oceanside Village features 2 good restaurants & a coffee shop, plus post office and fire station, that's about the extents of sleepy Oceanside and why it makes a great getaway! Nearby Cape Meares, Cape Lookout and Cape Kiwanda state parks offer hiking and nature exploration, or try your hand at crabbing or clam digging in nearby Netarts or Tillamook Bay. For the adventurous set, there is decent surfing, or even a parasailing launch site just up the hill. Or just curl and and read (or write) a book while taking in the view.
  • Emily's home is cozy with a beyond spectacular view. We loved the games, making a fire, the super comfortable bed, and having all the amenities we needed for a winter weekend on the coast. Very highly recommend!

    Cata2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The (A)frame was (A)mazing. Having access to the tunnel beach was a dream come true. Will be back.

    Megan2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy home with spectacular views! We loved it so much we booked the upstairs unit the following weekend with a larger group. We look forward to making this place our go-to stay in Oceanside!

    Kiersta2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This ocean getaway was exactly what we were looking for--cute, cozy, and within walking distance to the beach. We didn't get any cell service in Oceanside, so it was also a great place to just unplug and enjoy the natural beauty. Rest assured: there's WiFi for those who need it! Emily's a great host and gave thorough instructions with local recommendations. We had a delicious (if a bit $$) dinner at The Schooner in Netarts, where they use local ingredients. We'd definitely come back again!

    Alec2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • The Hideaway is a fully furnished apartment within a short walk to town and the beach. The best part of course is the unobstructed view, which makes for great storm and sunset watching.

    Alice2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Emily’s aframe was probably the most charming space I’ve ever stayed and it has a breathtaking view. My daughter and I loved every part of our stay. There was plenty to do around the area but we also enjoyed staying in by the fire and taking in the view. The communication was on point and clear and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. It was so good that we’re thinking about making it an annual mother-daughter trip!

    Stacie2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • The most beautiful views in a quite town this part of the year. A perfect getaway.

    Madison2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect beach getaway! The view and deck are absolutely spectacular. It was very stormy and rainy during my stay but I was warm and cozy inside. The place is more spacious than I anticipated, especially the fully stocked kitchen complete with stove, range, microwave, dishwasher and all the essentials. The bathroom had beautiful wood planked walls and a modern nautical design, very cool. Beach was a few minutes walk away. Emily's place was spotless and very clean, I would absolutely stay here again! Also, she messaged during my stay to ask how everything was -- really appreciate the thoughtfulness!

This is one of the most conveniently located areas in Portland! A lovely “pocket” neighborhood that is very quiet...and next to the beautiful Rocky Butte observation mountain. The Madison South neighborhood is also home to some of the best Vietnemese restaurants in the city! Nom nom. We're ten minutes from the airport, a straight shot down Sandy Blvd. to Downtown (15-20mins), Alberta Arts (10mins), with Rocky Butte, The Grotto grounds and beautiful Mount Tabor park just minutes away. Very conveniently located to all the main streets and highways, but without the hassles, petty crime/theft and noise you may encounter in busier neighborhoods. Serene spot to come home to after exploring our fair City of Roses! *Apologies, but we are unable to host any pool parties or photo shoots. Thank you

  • This will absolutely be a property I check the availability of next time I’m in Portland! Situated behind the main house this is a beautiful suite. A little small but had all I needed...A comfortable bed and a warm shower. The fireplace was wonderful to have as it was a tad chilly in the evenings but that did the trick if heating the place. The large patio step away from the entrance I can see being utilized extensively in the spring and summer!! I did not have the opportunity to meet Tessa as I was out most of the time I was there, but she is extremely responsive to emails!! Thank you again for letting my stay in your prior for a few days!

Welcome to Newport and your little home away from home. It's comfortable and cozy for you! It's a perfect place to breathe the ocean air; close to everything Newport...but without the crowds! If Fido behaves...Fido is welcome! Our cottage is one of seven in our little community. You can see the ocean from the cottage, but it is not ocean front. We do have a killer private beach trail for athletes and trail hikers only. No cleaning fee but leave everything clean/tidy for us please.
Easy single story access for Small children and elderly guests. very safe for cars and people!
This is a 7 cottage retreat just off Hwy 101. Road noise won't bother you inside as we have double windows. This was once was a small writers destination known as anchorage resort. Twelve years ago it was subdivided for private ownership. Of the seven cottages, several are second homes...and a few are also for vacationers.
  • Linda's place was clean, quiet, quaint and right within walking distance of the ocean.

    Michael2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very relaxing stay. The unit was clean, comfortable, and more spacious than expected. Linda and Alan are lovely hosts, and made us feel right at home. The trail down to the beach was totally do-able and the beach itself was absolutely enchanting! We will definitely be back.

  • Amazing hosts! Made us and our kids feel right as home! The trail to beach as a bit steep but out 4 and 8 year old were able to make it. Truely an amazing beach to walk and see. We went cabbing on the peir to the aquarium and science museum as well as devils punch bowl. Our older dog has a great time lazying around with us. This was wonderful and we plan on coming back ;)

    Ashley2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about Linda's place is "just right." It's a comfortable space - larger than the pictures suggest - and the location is an ideal ten minutes from town. The path to the private beach is wonderful...the weather didn't allow us to venture all the way down, but we enjoyed a sunrise and a sunset from the bench. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, and Linda is a treasure as a host. We will be back!

On the deck we have a grill under cover with 2 chairs and a table. Bring your favorite book, fishing pole, kayak, tubes, raft, etc. *Guests have the option to experience a memorable fun art project during their stay at no extra cost which will be shipped to you free to remember your trip! You don't have to be an artist to do the Acrylic pour. There’s an example of the art on the coffee bar wall and pictures shown on Airbnb.
We live on the Santiam river and there are no homes across the way it's all forested. The neighbors next to us are rarely home so our area is very private. Our home is right next to the cabin but there are no windows facing you and we have a couple privacy screens pulled down on our back porch so you have privacy in the cabin and on your deck. There is a tuxedo kitty on the property called "Ninja" who likes to greet our guests and might try to come into the cabin. Many times you will see hummingbirds, bald eagles, fish jumping, river otter, beavers, deer and elk, fisherman, kayaks and people tubing (in the summer months) going down the river. Also in the summer months we have our own guests who come to raft, kayak, tube, fish, swim or sit out on the deck by the river bank just so you're aware. Our guests can't see into your room so you might look out and see someone at times but, they can see you on the back deck.
  • The River Cabin had many delights! Cyndi & Tim thought of EVERYTHING to create a relaxing, beautiful environment. Lots to do in the area, and the pour painting was fun! Our best Airbnb experience to date!

    Barbara2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is beautiful and Cyndi and Tim are great hosts. Everything looked professionally cleaned and the small touches made a huge difference - heated blankets for sitting on the back porch to watch the river, dishes washed for you, Hulu/Netflix/etc available for use, bubble bath for the bathtub....really couldn't have asked for a better weekend. We booked our summer stay as we were driving away, that's how much we liked this place!!

    Julie2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This little cabin is absolutely stunning, and our wonderful hosts Cyndi + Tim thought of everything down to the smallest details. Heated tile flooring... giant rain shower, large soaking tub with complimentary Dr Teals bubble bath... the softest robes ever... heated plug-in blankets to use on the porch to enjoy the river... complimentary snacks and drinks... a personalized welcome sign... all so very thoughtful. The cabin is so beautiful and relaxing and luxurious and I might not ever want to leave. Tonight they welcomed us into their art studio for a complimentary pour paint session and wine. They were so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. We enjoyed talking and connecting and then learning about the various methods of pour art. I’m pretty sure this is our favorite AirBNB experience ever. We will absolutely be back. Thanks for a lovely weekend, Cyndi and Tim. ♥️

  • This place was nothing short of breathtaking. The moment we open the lockbox for the key the key had a shatter bait for fishing on it. This tickled my husband pink! The colors were vibrant and we had a special sign just for us wishing us a happy honeymoon. I loved all the bird feeders and the books provided to identify the birds and it was quiet and secluded. This made for a perfect and smooth intimate wedding for myself and my new husband. Thank you two for everything and I have recommended your cabin already to at least three other people! We plan to come back and enjoy more getaway in the future here. Some of my favorite take away would be the bathroom! The huge shower head was amazing and the heated tile floors are to die for. The sink and it’s unique nature and how the bath water ran from the ceiling!! In love with this place.

    Chelsea2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Cyndi & Tim’s place was INCREDIBLE! They thought through every detail to make it a luxurious, comfortable, fun place to be. They are gracious hosts and the space is so wonderful. Definitely a place we hope to return to!

    Jordan2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • A very relaxing atmosphere. Love all the little thoughts that went into the stay. very clean and gracious hosts.

    Stacy2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cyndi and Tim were fantastic hosts! Warm and accommodating, with thoughtful touches to personalize our stay! Will be back :)

    Corri2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is beautiful and Cyndi provides so many thoughtful touches. It is easy to find, even when arriving after dark. The bed is fabulous and the bathroom spoiled us. The floors are heated and the giant tub was perfect for relaxing. Our favorite part was the back patio. With nothing across the River, you get a completely unobstructed view of the river and forest. We ended our trip stopping by Evelyn Joe’s cafe after having some of their lemon poppyseed bread that Cyndi and Tim had left for us when we arrived! So yummy and only about 5 minutes down the road. We are already planning a return trip!

The Treehouse Retreat is in Philomath, OR - less than 5 miles west of Oregon State University. You can explore McDonald Forest, Bald Hill, and Mary's Peak nearby. Staying in a treehouse is the most unique experience! Book yourself an evening and disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with nature. Be prepared for fancy camping and a composting outhouse. The Treehouse Retreat is good for couples, solo adventurers, and small families. May not be suitable for small children due to ladders.
This is basically a unique camping experience in a treehouse. There are electric lights on a dusk/dawn timer and a space heater if necessary, a composting outhouse (please remember to use the sawdust), a shower house with heated outdoor shower, a spring-fed fishing pond with working waterwheel and waterfall, trampoline, play field, climbing crows nest, rope swings, chicken coop, and zipline for fun. Drinking water is available from the garage sink if you need to refill a water bottle. Bring a cooler and easy foods to enjoy, and a flashlight or headlamp. There is a sleeping loft with an amazing memory-foam mattress perfect for two (we provide linens), and also 2 bunks below with sleeping pads and extra blankets for any additional guests. There is a covered fire-pit gazebo (please bring your own firewood), but we can't allow fires if the conditions are very dry and windy. Please inquire. May not be suitable for small children due to ladders, pond, and possible slippery decks when wet. Please note the treehouse is in the woods close to our house, so it is a shared driveway and yard. We will be nearby if you need something, but your privacy is first priority.
A new pedestrian park with natural playscapes is right next to our property. Several restaurants are within a half-mile: Dirt Road Brewing, Dizzy Hen, Timber Towne Coffee Shop, etc.

  • We had a ball staying at the treehouse. There were lots of imaginative details that made the place seem like a fairyland. You need to like dogs, since there are several very friendly dogs that want to play. We came in February, but hope to have a chance to visit again some warm summer day.

    Raymond2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • A treehouse it was and fun! Boy lovedthe zipline! Plan to come back!

    Paul2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This tree house was so amazing. We got in after dark and it was all lit up. Had a very magical feel to it. The bed was super comfortable and the decorations adorable. The dogs are very sweet, Just dont leave any food out or the dogs will eat it.

    Tyler2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my girlfriend got greeted by an awesome dog who followed us in. Theres another pupper who is sp hyper and happy and all this started the trip off great. The treehouse was nice and quaint and they provide PLENTY of blankets and quilts. Which is needed during this time of year. It's so cozy and nice here; I had a wonderful time cooking up some steaks and veggies over a fire on a cast iron skillet. I'd recommend this place to anyone from parents to couples. This place is FANTASTIC!

    Richard2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • My 9 year old son has not stopped talking about the treehouse since our stay! It was so much fun and such a unique experience! I highly recommend this treehouse to those with older children. It was a blast!

Relaxed + modern one bed basement space. Bright + spacious with a handmade Portland touch. Comfortable for two, it's a great home-base for the traveler wanting to explore PDX! Located in charming Woodlawn neighborhood. Near the park, bars and bus lines.
Every detail was thought, planned and carefully considered. We value high-end, conscious design. Our motto is maintain, reclaim and sustain. All of the exposed wood is original to this 100 year old home! It's a great, peaceful place to crash at the end of the day. A plush queen sized bed, a huge doorless walk-in bathroom (ie. divided by a wall), and a tiny but efficient footprint were top priorities when we made this place. The space is stocked with all the pots/pans and plates to make a nice meal at home. Its always a shifting art-installation, so don't be surprised if the art in the listing photos change. We like to collect art and objects during our travels.
We're one block from 2 major bus lines (the 8 goes to downtown) and our neighborhood market, P's & Q's. 3 blocks from Woodlawn park + 5 blocks to our neighborhood hub: breweries, dance hall, coffee shop and restaurants. Woodlawn is a great area and closely located to Alberta Arts District, Mississippi and Kenton.
  • The stay was just what we needed. Such a cute space. Communication was great. Check in and out were flawless. The place was clean! Would definitely recommend choosing Anna & Jeremys place for your Portland stay!

Enjoy the ultimate Pacific Northwest getaway in our luxury vineyard guest house. We are perfectly located as a launching point to experience Ocean Beaches (1.5 hours), Crater Lake National Park (2.5 hours), Waterfall Hikes (45 minutes), and Wine Tasting (5 minutes!) Enjoy the vineyard view from the elegant patio while cooking/grilling, take a stroll through the historic vines planted in 1971, as well as a hike up the hill to enjoy the view from the vineyard hammocks.
You will have the run of the vineyard property, so plan on making the most of it by bringing some walking/hiking shoes. With the large living room and kitchen area you will find the house spacious and enjoyable yet cozy. The bathroom is a sight to behold with the wine barrel vanity and tile shower with huge rain shower head. Coffee beans and grinder are provided, along with a French press. Farm fresh vineyard chicken eggs will be provided when available. There are spices, sugar, and a full set of pots and pans along with table service for 4. This is a working vineyard property, so be aware there may be vineyard workers and equipment in the area. Feel free to ask for a lesson on taking care of grapevines. Careful, we might even put you to work!
While staying at Chardonnay Chalet you are just 25 minutes from downtown Roseburg and 90 minutes from ocean beaches in Bandon or Coos Bay, so a round of golf at Bandon Dunes with fresh seafood for lunch is totally a possibility! This property is situated just under a mile from the nearest convenience store and gas station, the “Tenmile Store.” That would be a handy place to pick up some bacon and other things to cook for breakfast. A more full selection of groceries can be found 15 minutes away at Ray’s in Winston. There is a wine tasting room and winery on the property here, and 25 other wine tasting rooms/wineries within a 30 minute drive, so this is a wine tasting Mecca! Roseburg also has several excellent breweries. A few fantastic local restaurants are: True Kitchen Brix Parrott House
  • Second time visiting, had to come back it was so wonderful the first time! As beautiful as I remember!

    Sarah2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a phenomenal place. Came out to the Roseburg area to run some of the north umpqua trail and the Chardonnay chalet was our home for the few days. The place is perfect for a couple and the weather this February was fantastic. Marc you have a wonderful property in the chalet. The eggs and cranberry orange bread and wine were a nice added touch. Only thing i would suggest to those staying is to be sure you find a grocery store you like in Roseburg instead of Winston. The Grocery Outlet (Winston) wasn’t quite up to par with what we needed but Sherm’s in Roseburg absolutely was. Such a lovely stay. Wish we stayed longer.

    Joey2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • It was a wonderful stay at Marc’s place. Everyday we wake up with beautiful vineyard view and you can take a little walk up on the hills to see the valley. The house is very clean, has all the essentials for cooking, they also prepared a bottle of wine when we checked in. Marc is very easy to talk to and responds quickly when we had questions. We would definitely come back again!

    Xi2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place with thoughtful touches throughout. Perfect for a weekend getaway with or without the kids. The wine tasting was a nice bonus! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

    Liz2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I stayed at this chalet on a road trip from Seattle to San Diego, and it was absolutely wonderful. The chalet was beautiful, clean, check-in was super easy (we arrived in the middle of the night so this was critical), and we woke up to the beautiful vineyard surrounding the property. Thank you for such a perfect place to rest our heads on a very busy trip!

    Carissa2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing. I had never lived on a vineyard. Will definitely be back here.

    Yohann2020-02-03T00:00:00Z

An airy and inspiring space with a simplistic vibe. Located just outside of the Old Farm District on the quieter side of Bend. A quaint, scenic trail is walking-distance from the house. Downtown Bend and the Old Mill shops are minutes away. Entrance is private with convenient key-code access.
Our space is ideal for adventurers, business travelers, couples and small families. A full-size living room with plenty of seating options, finished concrete floors for maximum cleanliness, and a kitchenette stocked with the essentials. Retreat through a sliding barn door to a private bedroom with a queen-size bed. The couch pulls out to a comfortable queen-size bed for additional sleeping. There is a work desk and free wifi, as well as access to an amazon fire stick for TV. Enjoy the best of what Bend has to offer, local-style. There is something to do for everyone here, all year around! Hikers and runners can access the Deschutes River Trail just 2.5 miles away from the house. If you’re feeling adventurous, enjoy views of the deep river canyons just thirty minutes north, to Smith Rock State Park. Mountain bikers can access the popular Phil’s Trail, 12 miles westward. When visiting during the winter, grab your skiis/snowboard and head thirty minutes west to Mount Bachelor. If you’re jonesing for a beer afterward, head to one of the many local breweries that Bend has to offer. Our favorites include Crux Fermentation Project, Deschutes Brewery, Worthy Brewing and 10 Barrel Brewing Co. Coffee connoisseurs can rest assured, knowing there are plenty of local coffee shops including Backporch Coffee Roasters, Lone Pine Coffee and Spoken Moto. If you’re lucky, you might find yourself visiting when your favorite band is playing at the Les Schwab Amphitheater! Just a mile away from the house is a cinder butte with sage and juniper trails leading to Pilot Butte State Scenic Viewpoint. Downtown Bend and the Old Mill District are popular locations to get your shopping fix in, as well. If you’re feeling like a homebody, curl up on the couch and watch a movie with a fresh cup of French Press coffee. Again, there is something to do for everyone, all year around.
We are nestled in a residential neighborhood on the Southeast side of Bend, surrounded by many of central Oregon's native pine and juniper trees. The house is walking distance to several nearby trails and parks. Our neighbors are quiet and respectful, and the popular Pilot Butte is viewable from the front window!
  • We loved our escape to Chili Powder Inn! Thank you, Beth and Alex!

  • Wonderful place and 6 minute drive to the action in bend and 25 minute drive to the ski resort. Even though there's a lot to do in bend the apartment is very comfortable to kick back and relax. For those not afraid to cook while on vacation the apartment has a small but capable set of utensils to make just about anything.

    Javier2020-02-21T00:00:00Z

If you are looking for a comfortable, simple, smoke-free and toxic-free environment then our rustic cottage is for you. Our 7 acre organic homestead is located off a quiet road just two miles from downtown Cottage Grove and 22 miles from Eugene.
Currently, we have a king-size organic cotton bed and a single organic cotton mattress in the loft and a full-size futon downstairs for sleeping. Or, if you would prefer, you are also welcome to set up a tent outside the cottage if extra space is needed. There is a kitchen, with a stove, oven, fridge and basic cooking utensils. We have wifi internet available. The bathroom has hot water, a shower, and a composting toilet. You can find more information on our composting toilet in the Humanure Handbook. We are excited to make our cottage available to folks on route or looking for a short visit in need of a simple, affordable and healthy space.
There are beautiful, scenic rides on the bike path along Row River that pass many swimming holes. In the summer, abundant blackberries are available for picking all along the bike path and there are plenty of apples in the fall. We have a couple of bikes available for guests to use.
  • This is the sweetest farm cottage. If you are looking for quiet and unpretentious simplicity, this is it! It was perfect in every way for my solo creative retreat.

    Erica2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • A rustic experience that helps you appreciate sustainable practices and the simple life. The guesthouse is clean and functional and has a nice ambiance.

    Anne-Lise2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The most rustic, private, serene, quiet place to unwind and spend some relaxing time alone to rest from the hustle of life as a busy mom of a large family. WIFI was strong but a few times my cell tower bars disappeared and I didn’t have connection but overall it was perfect. The heater is warm & cozy upstairs, so I hung out there most of the time. Compost toilet is actually a pretty incredible idea and I enjoyed the overall rustic feel of the cabin. I didn’t realize there was no freezer or microwave but the host offered a cooler which was perfect to leave outside at night. I will be back!

    Sherah2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful spot surrounded by trees, on a small sustainable farm. My partner and I felt very welcome and enjoyed exploring the downtown. A great place for a short getaway!

  • Beautiful location and great hosts! Very cozy cottage.

    Andrea2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Katja was a singular hostess. The accommodations were perfect for us. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and has everything we needed to cook for ourselves during our stay. We so enjoyed a few days of peace and quiet! The farm is wonderful, especially if you have an interest or appreciation for organic and sustainable farming. The creek right outside adds serenity. The location was easy to find, secluded, but near town. We enjoyed several of the books and puzzles on hand. Look forward to staying again.

    Kate2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, what a cozy and nourishing place to stay :-) my husband and I stayed here for a few days during the rainy months of the year. It was quiet, only one night did we hear traffic on the road. It was lovely to stay in a place that has been created with a lot of conscious intention for natural, organic and sustainably minded people. The compost toilet was very easy to use and a lovely addition. We got to see the animals on the land, and feed the adorable rabbits. Katja is a very generous and hospitable host, she responds quickly to any questions, and has lots of local tips.

    Jenn2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute and airy cottage with a cozy loft. Hosts are interesting, conscientious and generous people. Only stayed for a night on the way south but it was perfect for that. Cottage Grove seems like a sweet town.

  • This is a small but squeaky clean apartment conveniently located near multiple transportation options in a quiet neighborhood on Portland's northwest side. The unit is very functional with all the essentials, comfortable bed under a sky light, kitchen, spacious bath and a remotely controlled heating unit. The apartment is in a leafy residential area but close to cafes, bars and restaurants; there's even a walk-in clinic in nearby. Needless to say we enjoyed our stay.

  • We had a fantastic stay! We had no issues with the apartment or it’s location. It was a perfect stay. Also- the apartment is well decorated and simple. I felt like I was in an IKEA showroom 😊

  • Anastasia was the perfect host! Not only did she have an amazing list of things to check out in PDX, she also did everything she could to help with a work emergency! She is above & beyond! Absolutely recommend! A+!

  • The location was great for my trip but it was a bit loud in the morning, as stated in the description.

  • Anastasia’s place was perfect. Quiet for being so central, modern, with a very comfy bed! The instructions are well written and the location is great! Definitely would stay there again

Enjoy our private guest suite - aka the entire first floor of our beautiful West Eugene home! Separate entrance with key-code allows you to come and go as you please. Nice neighbors. Close to parks, running/bike trails, shops & restaurants. 10 minute drive (~3 miles) to downtown. 10 minute drive to UO. Off-street parking available. Includes new Queen size bed, private bath, gas fireplace, ample closet space, breakfast nook, coffee maker, fridge, toaster oven, laundry & WiFi.
We love our house in the trees and we think you will too! It is close enough to downtown (10 minute drive) to be able to easily access anything and everything Eugene has to offer - but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to give you that peaceful, woodsy treehouse feel. All areas in the private guest suite (kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, laundry room) are yours and yours alone for the duration of your stay...full privacy!
Cozy, quiet neighborhood in West Eugene. Our house, though located next to a few others, is nestled up in the trees to give it a wonderfully peaceful, cabin-y feel.
  • Super friendly hosts, and an incredible room with everything we needed and more. Such a beautiful location as well, made our stay even more special. Thanks Katherine and Ben!

  • A great place, great value. The gas fireplace makes for a good warm night sleep. They left some puzzles and board games. The bathroom amenities were great. Would go again.

  • Super cute and clean place! I highly recommend!

  • This place is a must-stay- seriously, it was SO comfortable and I had a really great time. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and it felt like a cabin, away from city life. I really appreciated the smaller touches as well- right when I walked in, I noticed a deck of cards that kept me occupied for a good while. I really hope to find myself returning in the future.

  • First experience using Airbnb and I had such a great one!

  • The positive reviews are all accurate! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Instead of repeating what others have said, I'll add that we really enjoyed the art on the walls!

A mid-century A-frame cabin with panoramic ocean views, perched on a hillside just 2 blocks above Oceanside Village and the beach. A quintessential Oregon get-away....quasi-rustic with all the right creature comforts.
The A-frame is a duplex, Unit A is the upper of two private 2 bed/1 bath units. It has a large private deck with amazing ocean views unobstructed from Cape Meares to Cape Lookout, and a wood burning stove for chilly nights. Under the rafters of the A-frame, you can enjoy amazing ocean views from most areas of the unit, including the upper loft bedroom. This cozy unit has the feel of a surf shack, or the quirky summer beach cabin from your childhood with all the lovely creature comforts - wifi, your own music streaming, good coffee, fluffy bathrobes and down comforters.
  • Emily’s place was the perfect little getaway for the night! The fireplace made it so nice and cozy and we loved the view and the deck it offered so we could sit outside and enjoy the sound of the waves.

  • This was the perfect stay for a quick get away from Portland. The town is quaint but has just what you need for a weekend away. The A frame has unparalleled views from inside the house and the deck. It was extra special to be able to sleep in the loft with the crashing waves and have the first thing you see in the morning be the expanse of the ocean

    Kelsey2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cutest little A frame with amazing views!

    Francesca2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed here for only a night, and honestly it was an experience I'll never forget. Maybe I've never been so spoiled by a view before, or maybe the place really is magic. Either way it was breathtaking. We plan to build a whole trip around coming back. I'd you're reading this and considering staying here, just do yourself a favor and do it. You can thank me in the guest book :)

  • Emily’s place is wonderful. Has a view to die for, decor is welcoming and fun. Bed in the loft was quite comfortable, linens very nice. Bathroom is cozy but well supplied. Sun was out while we were there but hanging out space was comfy and there were lots of games if we had needed them. Emily supplied helpful info about the area. Check in and check out were easy. We loved it, recommend it highly.
