My husband and I wanted to take a quick get away and this was perfect! It was our own little place and it was cozy and perfect!

Suzy's cottage is a quaint place to stay to have a relaxing getaway. The place has a full kitchen, fire pit, and propane grill, all good for cooking and having a good time entertaining. I had a lovely stay. Highly recommend this place!

Suzy’s place was more than we expected!!! It’s located in a very relax neighborhood with an amazing view in the backyard!!! All the hiking locations and preserves are pretty close by, including stores. My friends and myself will be going back!!! We loved it!!!

We enjoyed this lovely home. It was the perfect space for the two of us and had all of the supplies we needed (toilet paper, paper towels, etc). The location was great and everything was only a short distance away such as hiking trails, restaurants and breweries. We really appreciated the flexibility with check-in and the quick responses from Suzy. We will definitely recommend this stay.

Cozy, clean cabin. Loved the fireplace. Just big enough for two or a small family. Perfect size. Great local guidebook, board games and puzzles. Breakfast nook looks out on the trees and the creek. And couch by fireplace has a direct view to the treeline. Perfect place to unwind. Close to trails and easy drive to Woodstock.

Alma and Jame’s place was the perfect getaway. It’s located right by the Esopus river and so quiet and peaceful. A few minutes drive is the town with good food and Tops and Boiceville market located 15-20 mins away. The space was cozy and clean with all the amenities you would need to cook and relax. Overall a lovely place and we would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the sunroom and also backyard space!

Our stay at the Esopus Studio was very pleasant and in a great location for exploring the local Phoenicia area. Despite sharing a wall with the main house, the noise / sound from the other guests wasn't really an issue during our weekend. Communication and check-in with Alma & James went very smoothly.

This was our second time staying at Alma and James’s place. It was perfect for my husband and I to relax and unwind while we closed on our own place. The bed was so comfortable and the gas stove warmed up the studio well and was also nice to look at. I highly recommend staying at any of their properties!

Alma & James’ home was exactly what we needed for a low key weekend getaway! We truly felt like we were at home at this beautiful cottage. The loft is very sweet and romantic and the home feels spacious even though it looks small from the outside. I only wish we could have been here during the summer so we could enjoy the outside tiki bar!

We had a relaxing stay at Alma and James' little cottage. Loved the fireplace and proximity to Phoenicia, Woodstock, and hiking trails. We brought our small dog and there was plenty of room for us. The house rules were clear and easy to understand. We'd gladly stay again.

The cottage is extremely close to the town of Phoenicia and has everything you could want in the Catskills. I particularly enjoyed the book of information and recommendations that they left which I found very helpful. They have a fireplace which heats the place and makes you feel like you are all nestled in.

A wonderful use of the space, the stay made us feel cozy and comfortable. Love all the different options to stay on the property. Microspikes at the barn are a thoughtful touch in case you go hiking in the winter.

We enjoyed our short stay at the cottage! The space was perfect for a couple and it kept nice and warm with the lovely fireplace. We were able to cook our meals in the home but there are definitely food options nearby. We would recommend for couples or even larger parties as they have a few other homes on the property and they all share a backyard. Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice place. Only stayed for one night and left early the next morning but would have loved to spend more time exploring the area and creek. The place was clean and all information was easy to find. Definitely will recommend to anyone staying in the area

Great place, nice amenities. Very comfy and cute. Pretty muddy outside but nothing that could be done about that because it was raining before.

My family of four loved staying at Bungalow Beauty! The location was fabulous and we enjoyed skiing three out of the four local mountains while there, all five days! We loved hitting up the Phoenician Diner in the mornings before heading up to ski. We also recommend going to The Pines restaurant for dinner...yum! Normally we stay in very cramped quarters on ski trips so it was so nice to have a roomy place where we can enjoy the cozy living space and cooking in the kitchen! The house is super stylish and bright with many cute touches. We especially enjoyed all the comfy blankets, smart tv, and blasting the furnace as the notebook suggests for just a short time when we returned from skiing. The house uses baseboard heating and the temperature is set just right. We did not want to leave! Our only complaint was that the beds were not as comfy as we'd like them to be and we hope Emily will consider an upgrade to the mattresses, but overall we loved our stay and would definitely return next year!

Emily's place is the perfect spot for a city getaway. Feels like home and is quiet while still close to all local spots.

I chose Emily’s place to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and it was perfect! My fiancé and the couple that we stayed with absolutely loved the space. It was so warm and welcoming with thoughtful touches. The entire space was very comfortable for the 4 of us, and the beds were perfectly comfortable. Everything we needed was available, from hair dryers to contact solution and toothpaste, and the full kitchen was perfect for dinner and breakfast at home. Every pot and pan we needed was there for us, along with spices. We also loved the tub and the fact that we could relax at home with some TV after hitting Hunter Mountain for some snowboarding! The location was lovely as well. We easily were able to head to Phoenicia Diner, Peekamoose Restaurant and Jessie’s Harvest House for breakfast and dinner. Overall a wonderful stay! We’d love to be back and I would highly highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend away!!

This property is a true home away from home: cosy and thoughtfully equipped for a small group or, in my case, a solo retreat. I especially appreciated the yoga mats designed by Emily—a new gold standard for airbnbs! Stop browsing and book this bungalow for a stylish and snug stay.

Emily’s bungalow is exactly as pictured. Spent a girls weekend getaway and was prefect for what we needed. Walking distance to everything you might need and a quick drive to fun sites and hikes. Stay here!

We had a really lovely time at Mel's place. It was a very cold weekend, and the cabin was so cozy and warm (both with heating, and an amazing fireplace). The beds and sheets were so comfy, and there was great coffee left for us! We also used Mel's kind suggestion to go to the amazing restaurant down the road - highly recommend! We would love to go back.

I had such a great time here with my family. The location is gorgeous and the place is comfy and well equipped for the cold. Instructions were very easy to follow. Would definitely stay again.

My partner, dog and I had an amazing time at Mel’s cabin! The cabin offers all the necessities, and is soooo cozy! Such an amazing little winter getaway, a short drive from Woodstock, and great hiking closeby! Definitely coming back!!

This was our second time visiting! We really like Mel’s place and would like to go back again! It’s really nice to be able to cook a couple of dinners / breakfasts but also have the option to go up the road to foxfire mountain house or drive to Phoenicia diner. We keep exploring new hiking routes using Mels books each time we visit which is very fun! One tip to hikers is to google the name of the hike and then get directions via the hiking website instead of just going for it on google maps. We got a little lost trying to find some of the trail heads.

Mel’s place is top notch! If you’re into wood burning stoves, cozy beds and couches, stylish nature forward design, a well stocked kitchen with high end cookware, fire pits, no TV- yes! I read a book and had great convos instead, centrally located to Woodstock, Phoenicia, and Kingston AND the magical Foxfire Mountain House just down the street, then this cabin is for you! I had such a memorable few days here and will definitely be back :)

Stefania was very accommodating and answered our questions online within 10-20 minutes. She explained how to use all of the amenities, and left a binder in the Airbnb with info on restaurants, check in, check out, wifi, etc. The place was neat, cozy and clean. Perfect for small getaway. The composting toilet was new for me, but ended up being okay and easy to use. Only a short distance from Hunter Mountain (20-25 min drive without traffic). Thank you for the hospitality

So charming! Absolutely perfect for my impromptu stay upstate. Stefania was super accommodating for a last minute booking and the bungalow was set up with everything I needed. She even brought fresh baked bread over before I checked out!!

My fiance and I (and our dog) had a wonderful weekend getaway here. Stefania was super responsive and attentive to our needs throughout the whole weekend. The place is so cute, comfortable, and cozy. Seeing the animals right out our window every morning was a sweet treat! I would definitely book to stay here again as it was exactly what we wanted and needed : )

This little bungalow was the perfect place to stay for a little getaway. It’s centrally located in the Catskills and a short drive from food/restaurants. Fire pit and outdoor hang out area was really great! Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the Catskills.

Stefania’s place is very cozy and cute. It’s within 30 mins of lots of hiking spots and we enjoyed the food at sweet sues, Phoenicia diner, and Peekamoose restaurant! There is only an outdoor shower, which made it a little hard to shower at night but it was surprisingly a great shower. Really enjoyed the surrounding nature and the goats!

Dara and Dave are super warm hosts. Nothing about our stay felt "businesslike" at all. Everything about the cottage felt like it was in the right place and the space was used really efficiently.

Dara and Dave were so welcoming, responsive to our very last minute request to stay, and so generous to us in every way. Dave even helped me with a small project in his shop the morning before we left! We loved their space, which reflects their travels internationally especially in Bali. I loved that the space is a way to share other cultures and support craftspeople from around the world in objects. We stayed one cozy winter night and would love to come back in the warmer months when we could enjoy the garden and sit around the campfire. Fully recommend!

We loved our stay here! The decor and energy of the place is beautiful and the loft is small but super cozy. You can tell how much thought Dara and Dave put into every detail, and Dara had great recommendations for local places to visit. I loved that coloring books and markers were provided, and Dara even came by one day with homemade cookies. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

Kerry’s Place was a perfect, cozy place to escape the city and explore around phonecia and the Catskills. The hot tub was ready for us when we arrived and the space is super cozy. A lot of trails nearby for great hiking. Awesome location right on Main Street- will definitely return!

We (family of four) stayed at Kerry’s place for a night while we skied two days, and I wish we’d been able to stay longer and enjoy her place more. The hot tub was SO perfect after a cold day skiing, and Kerry’s place was warm and cozy. Kerry’s instructions were spot on, and her place was exactly as described. We’ll definitely be back!

Kerry’s home was simply amazing! My boyfriend and I went out to Hunter Mountain and received an amazing experience. Kerry was very prompt with messaging. She gave us great advice on which mountain to go to and what activities were around. It’s a very small town but everything is local. There’s a diner/pizzeria up the street (walking distance) which had the most delicious dessert and food! Kelly’s cozy cabin style home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed everything from the stoned shower, starting a fire, and the hot tube. I would definitely return!

This is a great woodsy retreat to get away from the city. Skiing and hiking nearby, we got some snowfall the day of our arrival which was really beautiful. Kitchen is fully stocked and we made the most of it.

This is a wonderful property in a beautiful, quiet location!. Sunlight pours in through the large windows on all sides, the house is intuitively and tastefully designed, and the surroundings are beautiful, even in the grayness of February. You feel like you’re in an elegant treehouse!

Miles provided a wonderful home with all of the amenities that you would need. The communication was very responsive and very immediate. Would highly recommend this house.

Loveliest house in the mountains we've stayed in. This house has it all and felt like home for a long weekend. Its charm-fully set back amongst the river and trees giving a feeling of privacy and great views of the surrounding wilderness. Personally I much prefer this part of Ulster County compared with right outside of Woodstock which can feel busy compared to Big Indian. There's an incredible restaurant right down the hill called Peekamoose. Highly recommend it! The house itself was super comfortable and was fully stocked with all you could ask for. The nice touches provided by the property managers were a total life saver. Things close quickly in the area and because we had a late arrival, we had no food! Luckily the ingenious and thoughtful host left us some basics which got us through until morning time. Can't express how grateful we were and everything felt like 'it was taken care of'. The beds were comfortable, the place was spotless and there was a washer/dryer which came in handy after a long hike. The architecture and windows in the house were another key part. It felt very cabin-y and modern! Will def be coming back!

I can’t say enough about how pleasantly surprised I was with Miles and his place. Everything was super clean and easily accessible. He left multiple tips and fun activities for us to check out and explore. The property is very very well kept and clean. The kitchen is full of cooking supplies and ingredients. The house is absolutely beautiful and has so many windows. He and Josh were always available for us. He really is an incredible host and would recommend his property to anyone who needs a nice weekend or a few days away.

Miles place is simply amazing a true beauty with nature , if ur looking for some quite relaxation out of this hustle an bustle of city miles place is simply perfect an secluded , if u looking to go away from city with truly mesmerizing beauty ... The cellphone connection is not available an unfortunately the internet was not working while we were there so we had a good time of relaxation with no Gadgets 😀 We would love to come back an experience the beauty again 😊

The TV was great for when we were relaxing and couch potatoing, but the best part of the home was the fireplace by far. Loved spending time in the big room, enjoying the fire, and watching the snow fall! Highly recommend.

Christa was friendly and attentive, and was accommodating when our arrival time changed because a hike took us longer than expected. We had an absolutely lovely stay at Christa and Wayne’s cottage over Thanksgiving weekend. The space is very warm and cozy and the host’s thoughtful touches helped make this one of our favorite getaways that we’ve ever had outside NYC. Hope we can return again ASAP!

My girlfriend and I had a lovely time at Christa's place. We were looking for a cozy place that would both be comfortable to spend some time in away from the City, and also conveniently located to the main strip of Phoenicia and other amenities in the area. The lofted bedroom upstairs was incredibly comfortable and charming, and the large writing desk made doing some work feel inspiring. Christa was also great about giving us hiking tips, and let us know about a local show happening at the Playhouse that we were so happy to get to experience. We definitely hope and plan to go back sometime!

This is a sweet and cozy little cabin in an excellent location in relation to Phoenicia (cute little town) and fly fishing spots on Esopus Creek. They even set up a blow up mattress upstairs for our son so that he didn’t have to sleep downstairs - very thoughtful. Loved it!

This was the perfect choice for our leaf peeping adventure. Christa and Wayne are wonderful, responsive hosts to this cozy cottage. I experienced the cottage to be even better than the description and hope to visit again to hike some of the many local trails.

We were greeted by Wayne who gave us a tour. Everything was exactly as described. Super clean, amenities, and extremely hospitable. Offered us herbs if we needed them for cooking. Great location!

Me and my wife wanted a little getaway from our regular life. The house was great very private, no one really around and nice and secluded. A perfect way to get relaxation. I would recommended this house to any one looking for a nice quite getaway.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at Ragnhild's place! It was beyond our expectations. The decor was creative and warm. We were welcomed with a lovely fire in the fireplace. After a romantic homemade dinner surrounded by candles, we relaxed in the jacuzzi as it lightly snowed around us. We made a couple of smores, drank wine, and watched the sunset. The location was absolutely perfect for viewing the stars. Early in the morning, I was able to accomplish some homework in her peaceful office area as my partner did laundry in the other room. She even allowed us to sleep in longer and check out later. It was a pleasure speaking to her and it's such a great deal! We enjoyed the Phoenicia dinner and later spent the day at hunter mountain (about 25 mins away). We had such a lovely intimate time at her home and highly recommend it to couples who just want to getaway! Among the many airbnb locations I've stayed at, this home and hospitality stood out

The pictures here don’t even do it justice! Great light and comfortable couches, beds, etc... so much fun to get the fireplace going and cozy up with a puzzle. Right on the edge of the Catskills and easy distance to Phoenicia and Woodstock. Lisa was a lovely host. Would definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We loved our stay at The Carriage House. The space was cozy, private, very clean and nicely decorated. The wood burning stove was the main selling point for us, and it did not disappoint! The kitchen was well equipped and the location was nice and quiet. We'll gladly come back another time!

The Carriage House was exactly what we'd hoped for! A lovely weekend getaway from Brooklyn to get lost in the woods, get some fresh air along Esopus creek, and enjoy the paradise that's just a few hours north of the city. It was a comfortable world away, just a short drive away. And Lisa was extremely helpful and communicable the entire way. Everything about it was just what we wanted--comfort and joy.

We had a great stay! The space gets a lot of natural light and the open floor plan makes it feel even bigger than it already is. The large table provided a great work space for us. We also love the wood stove.

Lisa's house is a great place for a quiet getaway. We took our small breed dog with us and he loved running through the snow and along the creek across the street. Blue Hole is a short drive away and was also a great spot to visit! If you're going in the winter, Lisa can show you how to use the wood-burning fireplace and save you some time ;)

The apartment was super clean, well kept. Very cosy. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were great. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay in Upper New York.

The cabin is perfectly located not too far from civilisation, but far enough to make it feel like you’re staying in the wilderness. The cabin is beautifully decorated and furnished with a well stocked kitchen. Hosts were easy to contact and provided clear and concise checkin and checkout details. Will definitely be back.

When the description said “cozy” it lived up to the expectations! This location is perfectly placed away from civilization but still close enough of a drive to Phoenicia and Woodstock for local restaurants and shopping and local hikes. Plus the sound of the river near the house was very peaceful. My girlfriend and I stayed in February so there was still snow all around, which made it look great, plus the central heating helped. Perfect romantic getaway cottage for 2, with full kitchen, we cooked a lot, comfortable couch to watch some movies and relax. The bedroom was also very comfortable and the bathroom clean and tidy. I definitely would love to come back again in the spring and summer and winter again! I’ve already recommended this place to friends in nyc! We were in communication with Esme who helps manage the cottage, and the response time and hospitality was A++! Very professional and respectful and attentive to every question and concern I had. Thank you Esme!

The house is an amazing location, next to a creek and off the main road, but still close to many stores and good restaurants . It was clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a long weekend of skiing. It was so nice to end the day relaxing by the fire while my husband used the grill to cook dinner!

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at this modern, bright and cozy cabin. The beds and couch were super comfy for a relaxing weekend and we loved all the windows which enabled us to enjoy a magical snowfall from the comfort of the indoors. Alison's recommendations for the surrounding area were spot-on (we especially enjoyed Peekamoose and Sweet Sue's).

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The location was beautiful and less than 10 minutes from town. Checkout Woodstock Brewery and Peekamoose! The home was charming, spacious, and piled high with firewood. The record collection was killer. Alison was accommodating and responsive. We can't wait to come back!

This place is honestly heaven!! You pull into the long driveway all the way into the back of the property, and then you step out of your car to hear the sounds of the stream, it’s Incredible and so peaceful! The home is absolutely beautiful, every single thing has been thought about in detail to make sure your stay here is magical! Patrick’s wife answered so quickly to all of our questions and even dropped off some incredible smelling soap for a bath!! At night you can sit near the stream around a fire, and just listen to all the sounds around you! It’s honestly the most beautiful stay!!

I booked this cabin for a ski weekend with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it! The location was perfect, just 10 minutes from Belleayre and 20 minutes from Hunter Mountain. We loved the coziness of the cabin, especially the gas fireplace. It was sparkling clean with amazing decor and well equipped for us to stay in and relax. Added bonuses were the comfortable bed and waking up to the sound of the stream which is in close proximity. Pat & Kelley were great hosts, with clear instructions, who made our experience wonderful. We also met their adorable puppy while hanging out by the stream. We will definitely be back!

Patrick and Kelley were amazing hosts. At check in, they walked me around the property and were available for communication throughout my stay. I was looking to get away by myself for the weekend and this place was perfect. The inside of the cabin was super welcoming and cozy and the location to hiking trails, breweries and restaurants was extremely convenient. The proximity to the creek was amazing - it was easy to get lost in the view and sounds. Although there was some car noise in the front of the cabin (didn’t bother me personally), it was non existent inside the cabin and by the creek. The whole experience felt completely serene. I would stay here again and again and again. Thank you Pat and Kelley!

Pat and Kelley were amazing hosts-- They went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They left a bottle of wine and some snacks for me which was perfect because I arrived much later than expected. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the bed and couch were super comfortable. The check-in process with keyless entry was very easy. The location is near my favorite brewery (Woodstock Brewery) as well as many other restaurants. What I loved the most was the private access to the largest creek in Catskills and the sound of the stream that can be heard from everywhere is like nothing I have experienced. I highly recommend this place and would certainly return for another stay!

Robert has a lovely cabin just outside of Phonecia. Though it's close to town, his house is back off the road a bit, sitting among some trees, giving it that perfect 'woods cabin' feel. In the morning, all we could see out the beautiful windows in the living room was snow and trees. The house itself is two bedrooms, with a great big living room and fireplace. We ended up cooking a fair bit, and I never found myself needing something in the kitchen that wasn't there -- not often the case! Was nice and warm inside, despite getting down into the teens outside. Robert was a great host and very responsive. Can't wait to visit again!

We loved staying in this rustic house. It is a charming old house with a cozy wood burning stove and it’s conveniently located for lovely Phoenicia and Bellayre mountain.

This house is incredibly beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Every room is simple and maximized for comfort yet never sacrifices style! The beds are comfortable and bedding is luxurious and understated. Beautiful bathrooms both expertly renovated with lovely toiletries (one up with the bedrooms and one downstairs). Convenient location and near to great restaurants and lovely Phoenicia. Kitchen is well stocked with pans and dishes but not much else and no dishwasher. For us not a problem as we dined at Phoenicia Diner for breakfast and the Phoenician for a fabulous steak. A great landing point for a ski weekend at Belleayre. Super easy check in and check out. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous and comfortable home!

My favorite part about the cabin was the thoughtful decor and of course the fireplace. I spent Christmas week there with my boyfriend and our dog (which Peter was very accommodating about) and it was the perfect stay for a winter getaway. The hosts were also very responsive to our texts when we had questions. We found something incredible to do around the area each day (there is so much to do even during Christmas!). We had no trouble finding the place even though it was nice and secluded (exactly what I was looking for). We had no trouble accessing the yoga studio and the place was clean and tidy once we arrived. The kitchen was also fully stocked with whatever you may need if you want to cook. We cooked breakfast and dinners every day and had everything we needed. The back porch also has a lovely swing, even in the winter it was nice to sit outside with a hot tea. The fireplace was incredibly cozy and easy to work, which we lit every night. The upstairs also has a bathroom with a lovely large bathtub and was fully equipped with whatever you may need including bath products. Overall this was the exact getaway we were looking for and we would happily come back any time of the year. P.S. - Our dog really loved it up there and refused to leave.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at the Cottage. Very relaxing time disconnecting and lounging by the wood burning fire. We would have loved to use the bikes provided in warmer temperatures! The town is just a minute away with all the amenities you need. Thank you for a great stay!

Mark was very responsive and the place was just what we hoped. We had a bit of trouble keeping the temps up when it got cold, so definitely make sure you grab some (dry) firewood before you come up in the colder months. Otherwise the space was adorable and we had a wonderful time. Perfect place for a cozy getaway.

Very cute cabin tucked away at the end of a road in the heart of the Catskills. Comfortably accommodated me and my three friends for a fun weekend! The town is very close and also has great restaurants/bars to offer. Would definitely recommend Mark’s place for your next Catskills trip!

Super location. Close to Belleayre, where we skied and to Phoenicia. The house is comfortable and fits a lot into the space. Mark is extremely responsive and helpful. A weekend nicely spent!

I stayed at Mark's cottage with my wife and our infant daughter to close out 2019. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and the bedroom loft was an especially cool space. The cottage is located in the Woodland Valley area, which is a popular place to rent in. It is peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive from Phoenicia and Emerson, and about a 15-20 minute drive from Woodstock; plenty of dining and shopping options in those areas. There is a small market in Phoenicia for any supplies you may need and a larger supermarket down the highway in Boiceville. The house came with some firewood but you should pick up some extra in town if you will be using the fireplace. There is a moderate hill to get to the house from the main road and you should bring a vehicle with four-wheel or all-wheel drive if there is rain or snow in the forecast (which recommendation applies regardless of where you stay in the Catskills). Mark was incredibly responsive and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

A wonderful balance of beautiful and rustic, in one of the most incredible valleys I’ve seen. Walking out the door each morning was breathtaking, and lounging by the fireplace created the perfect environment for zen. Definitely listen to Frankie and Andrew’s advice about all wheel drive if you go exploring, the roads can be slippery when the temperature is up and down.

Our stay here at Frankie & Andrew's  cabin was everything that my family and I could ask for!! I come fishing a few times a year in phoenicia and this was the nicest and cleanest property I've stayed at!! The cabin was clean, well appointed with all you need and close to Phoenicia (5 min drive) to go shopping or eat any of your meals!! Frankie & Andrew were responsive to ALL of my texts and emails before and during my stay no matter the time!! I highly reccomend and cant wait to go back! :)

We decided to do a snowboarding trip with our 7-year-old at Hunter Mountain and truly enjoyed our stay at Frankie and Andrew's place! The location was perfect - less an 30 minutes to the slopes and very close to the restaurants and shops of Phoenicia. I must say we were pretty amazed at how beautiful the landscape is from the home - the pictures don't quite tell the full story. Our son would just stop and take in the sounds and sights - as did we. We are hoping to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy this special cabin a bit more. Frankie was amazing in staying in touch with us along the way and offering recommendations.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Frankie and Andrew’s home for 3 nights in February. We had the most wonderful time! The home was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The views of the creek from almost every part of the home was really beautiful. We also loved the wood-burning stove.. it was perfect for snuggling up on a cold, snowy winter night. There was great attention to detail that maintained a rustic feel to the home, but there were also many modern amenities that made it very easy to function in.. such as great kitchen appliances, fantastic shower, USB ports, and access to Netflix, Alexa, etc. Also of note, Frankie was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We are certainly looking forward to a return visit in the warmer months!

Great cabin -- we had a wonderful time!

Modern touches but still true to the 1935 origin, this cute & quaint cabin is perfect for a quick break from your normal everyday life. It helped slowed things down due to its seclusion & it really made you feel like you were a thousand miles away from home. Frankie let us check in a little earlier due to inclement weather & he was so helpful in showing us how everything works & ensured our happiness throughout our stay. I would absolutely love to come back & enjoy it some more!

Our stay at the cabin was awesome. Frankie was extremely communicative from the start of the reservation process through check-out, providing us pictures via text of the additional parking area, driveway, and walkway since it had recently snowed. Can't recommend the cabin enough! A note on cell service, both my wife and I had no cell service (Verizon Wireless and Google Fi, respectively). This was not an issue at all as there is a land line in the house and the wireless internet was extremely fast. We were able to stream movies with no issue and I was even able to VPN in to my office (unfortunately) to check emails, etc. The cabin is located within 5-15 minute of Phoenicia and Boiceville where there are dining and grocery shopping options.

Kerry's loft is clean, stylish, and is a great home base when visiting the Phoenicia area. The shower and bath are spectacular, and the room itself is a treat to hang out in. We ran into Kerry by chance on our way in and out of the room and he was gracious and accommodating, and answered questions as soon as we had them. Thanks Kerry!

This space is great - Phoenicia is a beautiful little town and the bathroom and bed are as nice as advertised. Kerry was responsive and helpful though we didn't meet him in person. Definitely would recommend for a stay in the area.

This loft is GORGEOUS! THE HOST: Kerry was an incredible host and was always available for any questions, concerns, or with the simple check-in/check-out instructions. THE SPACE/AREA: The fine touches are beautifully thought out (crystals, magazines, and books sprinkled around the loft) and the amenities are just magnificent (plates, cups, knives, coffee maker, etc.) I took myself on a week long silent retreat and booked this loft because of the luxurious bath tub, but found myself more enamored by the rainfall shower. The loft is right in the center of town, and perfect walking distance from small supermarkets, antique shops, and a deli (or a 20 min drive if you are looking for a larger supermarket) and the space is very private; during my week long stay I was not disturbed a single time. If you are looking for a sign THIS IS THAT SIGN, BOOK THIS PLACE. I was there at the HEIGHT of winter and it was wonderful, so I cannot wait to return when the weather is just a little warmer! :) THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL STAY! :)

Amazing loft for your trip to mountains. A great view from the windows. The trails begin from the both sides of the house. The restaurants are in 3-7 minutes from the house. The loft is designed with wood panels that makes it stunning and relaxing. A good quality of mattress keep your body relaxing through the night. A big shower room and a bath tub are just a great addition for your cold winter break. Kerry was very helpful with any of our questions. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone who loves a nature and is looking for a harmony with himself.

Lisa’s home is fantastic. If you’re looking for a place to decompress in the Catskills, this home is for you. The house is so charming, a mix of history and modern. The fireplace is ideal. Spend your time reading, listening to music, and enjoying the beautiful landscape. Lisa left so many helpful recommendations, and even came over soon after we checked in to help us start our first fire. All details are so well thought out. We loved every minute of our stay and are looking forward to going back!

The place is beautiful and stylish. It was the perfect cozy place to relax, especially with a roaring fire! The beds in both bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook when we wanted. Lisa's list of suggestions of places nearby were great, especially the two nearby waterfalls, which we'd never have found ourselves!

The house is very cozy, has everything necessary and is very well taken care of. Also, we went for pizza a Brio's in Phoenicia and it was delicious. We will be back!

A wonderful space that’s got everything you could want when looking for an ideal getaway. Conveniently located and perfectly equipped for all seasons (and particularly for winter in our case, thanks to the wood stove in the living room), the cottage was extremely comfortable for myself, my wife and our daughter. Great getaway! The home is exactly as advertised. Very quaint home on the side of the mountain. Loved the constant sound of the running creek and the seclusion yet not of the location of the home. Made a few visits to downtown Phoenicia and Mt Tremper for local fare and shopping. Highly recommend this home for a quick and quiet getaway.

We spent a lovely two nights at Lucy’s cabin. The surroundings are even more beautiful than we expected. There’s a babbling stream that runs by the house, and it’s in some woods with lots of moss and rock formations. The property is very private and peaceful. The house has lots of windows and a good layout. It has some rustic characteristics such as sputtery faucets and an old fashioned oven, but this was all fine for us. We recommend arriving before dark, as it was slightly challenging to find the walkway to the house the first time. We’d also recommend the nearby Phoenicia Diner for eating out and pretty views!

Lucy's cabin was absolutely beautiful. It is both unique and charming in design, and is perfect for a weekend getaway. The river out front is such a peaceful sound to fall asleep to. The only difficulty we had in our stay was unlocking the front door, which, for whatever reason, required a bit of force to open. Other than that, we would be happy to stay again.

This place is absolutely beautiful, remotely tucked up on the side of a mountain. You have to walk across a bridge and up steps to get there, and it is perfectly cozy for a winter retreat. The only cons were that we were not able to get some of our questions answered by the host and the water pressure is very spotty (will stop and spray in strong spurts from both the shower and faucets). Overall, this is a wonderful house and I would definitely stay there again regardless.

Heavenly location, great views, beside a spring - you hear the water gushing past by from your room, submerged in a view that will be engrained for times to come. Bed rooms appear to be make shift as there are no doors in 2 of the rooms- but perhaps that design does wonders to the openness of the place. Jennifer is a very proactive hostess. She let us know that it would snow and suggested that we should consider checking in earlier. We are already craving to be back- we saw it snow- want to experience in summer. And oh, there is a swing hanging from a tree just beside the bubbly spring. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use it because of the snow. In summary, I recommend Jennifer’s place, you will adore it.

We had a wonderful time staying in Jennifer’s beautiful home. Communication was quick and easy. We were very cozy with our two children and particularly enjoyed the view from the bedrooms and the luxurious downstairs bathroom. This is a great cabin and the woodstove was so cozy! Very good location, right around the corner from the steakhouse in the diner, and walking distance to the Main Street! Definitely would stay here again!

The place was so beautiful and clean. Walking distance from the town and short driving distance from cool and fun activities. If there were any questions we had, we got an immediate response on what to do and how to do it. The place was beautiful and spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There aren't enoigh wonderful things to say. The space is big and bright. The amenities are great for intimate getaways or group hang outs. There is a hot tub, wood burning stove, fire pit, bbq set up, a huge yard, a closed in porch. My regret is we went in the winter, it was too cold to enjoy star gazing by the fire pit. James was very attentive and responsive during our communications.

What a charmer... we came up for a short President's week ski jaunt at Belleayre and had a wonderful stay at this lovely getaway. It's hidden away on a wooded hillside and was just the sort of hideaway we were looking for. Really tastefully decorated and relaxing. Coming back and enjoying a fire after a day of skiing hit the spot. Would make for a great place for all seasons with its screened in porch and an landscaped patio with an outdoor firepit as well. Definitely going to bookmark it for the future. Mel, our host, was incredibly responsive and communicative in spite of being on her own travels while we stayed there. Fairly certain we will be back in the future.

I've been coming to this area for a few years now and this is hands down the best place I've stayed. The house feels secluded in the woods while also being close to a lot of amenities: restaurants, bars, spas, hiking, grocery stores and farmstands, etc. Check-in was easy and Mel offered lots of great tips on the area. When a blizzard came we got advice on where to park when the plow came through. We plan to stay again!

Alison’s place is in the most serene and scenic little spot. My family and I wanted a quiet getaway close to nature. We didn’t go out much because my baby want well, but the home provided just what we were looking for. We are at the Phoenician Diner most of our stay. I highly recommend. Alison’s home is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, very cozy. I highly recommended that you set you GPS beforehand so you don’t lose service in the woods. There is WiFi in the town and great service at the house, but it disappears between.

Perfect pup-friendly weekend retreat. I was pleasantly surprised that place is right next to a trailhead.

Alison's place was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway to the Catskills! It was clean, stylish and in a great location. It took us less than half an hour to get to Hunter Mountain to ski and took us less than 5 minutes to eat brunch at the famous Phoenicia diner. The place also had lots of bonus features like a record player, an outdoor firepit, a big porch and an AppleTV. Alison was super easy to deal with and always responded within minutes. I couldn't recommend her place enough and can't wait to return soon!

Had an amazing time at the cabin, very restful and stress free! Cathy is a wonderful host that was quick to respond to our questions. Enjoyed Woodstock shopping and relaxing at the cabin at night playing games with family!! I highly recommend!

cathy's place worked great for our weekend away in the catskills. the kitchen was well-equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. we have stayed in this area a few times and absolutely love it. highly recommend cathy's cozy and clean cabin for your next trip to the catskills.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and loved it every bit as much this time as last. It was perfect for my family of 5 (ages 7, 10 & 12). We love nestling into the cozy couches after a full day of skiing. I hope we can come again, we love this cozy cabin in the woods.

Cathy was a fantastic host. Very quick with communication and shared every detail we needed for our stay. When we had questions she answered them readily. The cabin was lovely! Absolutely beautiful, very cozy, and the perfect get away location. It is located very close to the major hikes in the area, and was outfitted with everything we needed for our weekend away. We would absolutely recommend Cathy’s cabin!

This place is cozy and very accommodating. The location is perfect for a weekend getaway from NYC.
