The beautiful antique country house style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can often extend the check-in/out.

Neben dem Wohnhaus (40m entf.)befindet sich das moderne Badehaus zur ausschließlichen Nutzung unserer Gäste. In unserem Haus wird viel gelesen, philosophiert, guter Wein getrunken und sich um das Wesentliche im Leben gekümmert, Reduktion pur! Abenteuer statt Luxus.

Whether exploring the Vogelsberg by bike, visiting the most beautiful half-timbered towns, enjoying nature in the Vogelsberg, or relaxing in the area after a day of work - it is possible here. Newly refurbished and equipped to a very high specification. The kitchen cabinets + fridge are filled, see pictures. You don't necessarily have to go shopping. Billing of 'consumption' at your own discretion, no 'minibar conditions'. The Miele washer-dryer does small loads of laundry (3 kg) in one go

Das hochwertige Interieur läd zum Relaxen ein. Hier, am Tor zum Vogelsberg befindet sich u.a. der Einstieg zum Vulkan Mountainbiketrail "Mühlental". Bike Ladestation direkt am Appartement. Danach ein Saunagang? Bei Interesse besteht die Möglichkeit eine Spritztour mit meinen US Oldies zu unternehmen ;-)

The location is ideal for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet, nature, swimming lakes and natural surroundings. The apartment is very quiet and is barrier-free, has bed linens and towels. Pets by arrangement. Just around the corner are Homberg (Efze) with the Hohenburg, the cathedral town of Fritzlar, the Edersee, the Singliser See, the Silbersee and many other beautiful lakes and nature reserves. The A49 and thus also Kassel can be reached quickly (about 20 minutes). We are right on site and are available for more tips and help. We look forward to seeing you!

In a private atmosphere, you can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside and experience the luxury of a personal hot tub and sauna in the adjacent area to a park-like garden. Only 10 minutes from the A5, you can make a wellness stop with us when passing through! Nearby you will find many beautiful excursions as well as good gastronomic facilities. Perfect if you want to escape city life. Whether cold or warm season, this area invites you to relax.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Our 120 sqm apartment is located in a 4500 sqm garden, surrounded by nature, between Burgwald and Kellerwald. The garden was laid out by a landscape gardener 30 years ago. Here you can find peace and relaxation or make beautiful trips to Marburg or the nearby Edersee from here. The lake offers a variety of business opportunities. You can also start tours with our bicycles or hike and relax in our sauna in the evening.
