Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

My house is 5 minutes away form the Ski Lift Station to walk and 2 minutes with car. In the summer months i have a big garden with a small Creek, a wood direktly at the backside of my house and apple trees. The house is perfekt to use the bikepark leogang because you can lock all your bikes in the house and it is only 5 minutes away from the bike park. I have a big Garage were you can clean your bikes and keep your skiis, bikes and cars inside. My house is also perfekt for hiking.

Our house is located in the center of Hochfilzen. A great starting point for hiking, cycling or mountain biking tours in the summer. In winter, the ski resort Fieberbrunn/Saalbach/Hinterglemm for alpine skiing is only 5 minutes away by car. Cross-country ski trails are a 5-minute walk away. Bus stop, train station is in the immediate vicinity. Tourist tax of €2.80 per person per night extra to be paid in cash upon arrival. From November 2025, it will be increased to €3.90.
