Unsere 1-Zimmer Wohnung liegt zuvorderst im Diemtigtal. Der Bahnhof Oey-Diemtigen ist etwa 7 Minuten (zu Fuss) entfernt. Im Dorf befinden sich ein Lebensmittelgeschäft (VOLG), Bankautomaten sowie eine Postautohaltestelle – alle bequem in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Ein Idealer Ausgangspunkt für: Skifahren,Schneeschuhlaufen,Langlaufen,Wandern, Biken, Tennishalle, Indoorklettern. Tagesausflüge nach Bern/Interlaken/Grindelwald/Lauterbrunnen oder Gstaad sind innerhalb einer Stunde erreichbar.

The chalet acts a point of depart for mountain walks or hikes, bike riding, snowshoeing or even cross country skiing in the winter time. Ski slopes and thermal baths can be reached in around 30 minutes by car.

The old Frutigland Chalet was completely renovated in 2005. The landlords live on the upper floor of the house. We speak German, French, English and Italian. Our approx. 350-year-old farmhouse contains a newly renovated studio. It is located just above the village of Saanen with beautiful views over large parts of the Saanenland. By car, it can be reached in approx. 5 minutes, whether coming from Schönried or Saanen. In between is the underpass with the turnoff to Unterbort/Abländschen. Always follow the signs for “Sonnenhof.” The underpass is also a bus stop. From there it is still a 15-minute walk to the studio. Pick-up service is possible.

The 58-sqm space in a traditional chalet boasts a wraparound balcony of 30 sqm with impressive views. Skiing, cycling and walking are close, with the iconic ambience of Gstaad just close by. Two ski lifts are each 500 m away. The flat is non-smoking and no-pet.
