The apartment is located on the first floor in a 2-family house and is ideal for 2 -3 people (double bed and sofa bed). The village of Baltschieder is very centrally located. The apartment is located in the back of Baltschieder. The neighborhood is very quiet with little traffic. The nearest train station (Visp) is approx. 5 minutes by car. The public transport connections are also very good. Various tourist resorts such as Zermatt, Saas-Fee and the Aletsch region are very good and easy to reach.

In 3 separate rooms you can recover from skiing, hiking and mountaineering, spend a cozy movie night in the living room or play in the dining room. Good public transport connections to Saas-Fee or Visp, snow-sure ski resorts (Saas-Fee, Saas Grund, Saas Almagell), shopping can be reached in approx. 400 meters on foot (bakery/village shop/sporting goods) or about 1.5 km (Coop/Denner).

Chalet Amethyst is located on the southern edge of Täsch, a small suburb, 5 km from Zermatt. From here you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Kleine Matterhorn and the wide plain of Täsch. The village bus takes you to the village and to the mountain stations to get to the ski resort. You can have breakfast on the east balcony overlooking the Almagellerhorn and in the afternoon/evening you can enjoy the south balcony overlooking the Allilinhorn.
