Holiday rentals with lake access in Säffle Municipality

During the Easter holidays, we completely relaxed in this beautiful place in the woods. The recent wooden house has all the necessary contemporary amenities for a carefree vacation. A small hiking trail through the forest takes you to the lake and the beach. In the region there are several nature reserves for beautiful walks, but you can also step in the woods around the house itself and spot birds, deer or fox. In addition, you are less than 20 minutes in Karlstad to do shopping, visit a museum or take the train for a day trip. So this stay is the ideal base for exploring the region.

Very nice and quiet place outside of Åmål. Downtown can be reached in a quarter of an hour by car. The views from the property to the Vänern are magnificent and the jacuzzi is also wonderful. The pool table has seen better days but still serves its purpose and is complete. All in all a very nice holiday in a very nice place.

Had a great time at this wonderful property, well-organized essentials inside the house, owner baked a yummy cake to welcome us, we recommend this place for a group staycation.

We had beautiful days in this great vacation home. It offers plenty of space and is comfortably furnished. With the rowboat and the 2-seater kayak, we spent some nice hours on the nearby lake. The jetty is within walking distance in a few minutes. Meta and Henk are very nice and helpful.

We had a very nice few days in Fredrik and his family's house. We were a group of 6 adults and a child of 2 years, and everyone had a great time. The house was big and nice and had goood space to find peace. The garden and outdoor room were probably the best: here our daughter could jump on the trampoline, play in the playroom, watch the fish and snuggle :-) We did the same as adults. And we loved the outdoor living room, here we sat until late at night and played games and enjoyed ourselves in the summer sun. Definitely a really nice stay in a quiet and safe environment. We would love to come back as neither of us would go back home. Easy to find and clean and cozy house. Hugs from Norway 🇳🇴

We stayed at bollsbyn for a week and it was great. We visited with two families and the house provided us with everything. The house is fully equipped and if you find the hidden kitchen drawers, you'll find even more ;-) The scenery is beautiful and would recommend the place to anyone looking for a modern fully equipped house in a peaceful environment. Agnes and Michel were very helpful and responsive. Thanks for having us Michel and Agnes!

Very nice and accommodating host, who had a well-maintained, tidy and well-equipped accommodation. Everything was great. The teenage daughters also found the sofa bed unusually comfortable.

What an amazing place to stay in a ditto place. We were here for the first week of April. Great property, with multiple buildings on it. Fantastic house, with all the comforts. New shower/toilet, new kitchen and very nicely decorated. Through the large garden you walk to the lake, with its own jetty. By car, you can reach various towns and villages in a very short time, such as Hammarö and Karlstad. Many hiking opportunities in the nature. We were with our dog, who enjoyed it at least so much. Thank you Linn and Tommy for your good hosting! We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house in Sweden. The location in the middle of nature is simply fantastic, surrounded by greenery and close to a lake perfect for swimming, fishing and relaxing. We went a lot with the associated boat and our carried sup. The lake was great for that. We loved the peace and seclusion of the place, and it was a real rest from everyday life. The house itself is very nice, clean and well appointed. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay, from kitchen appliances to cozy furniture. We didn't miss anything. We particularly liked the loving furnishings, which makes the house very welcoming. A big thank you to Lisa and her husband for their hospitality. Thanks to them we had a really nice time here. We highly recommend this house and would be happy to come back!

We had a great time at this cabin. It was secluded and the surroundings around the cabin were so beautiful. The forest on one side and the rapids on the other side. Madeleine responded quickly if you had any questions. Have nothing to complain about. We would love to come back!

A great place with stunning lake views. The property is perfectly equipped, two beds are available in a separate log cabin - perfect if you want to retreat. Small downside: You have to bring your own bedding and towels (which is a bit unfavorable if you are making a three-person Sweden tour and the car is full) and you do the rough final cleaning yourself. Everything is also explicitly stated in the listing description, but it can still be overlooked quickly.

We just stayed overnight and thought it was a nice garden and quiet surroundings. The farmhouse is small but in very good condition. Kitchen and bathroom stand out. The double bed is in a sleeping loft with limited ceiling height, so if you are older, you can sleep on the sofa bed in the room. The internet works perfectly and TV has a Chromecast with a great picture. The surroundings are very rural and peaceful. The host couple is very nice and helpful.

We had such cozy days in Elin's cabin. Quiet neighborhood, short walk to the beach or small marina. Or why not join the kids and watch the sheep right next door. We enjoyed jogging in the forest and the nice view from the terrace over Lake Vänern. The cottage is in top condition, newly built and nicely decorated with details chosen with care. The kitchen was well equipped. Very cozy, with a lot of blankets, cushions and candles that go the extra mile. The large deck with outdoor furniture is a big plus. There was also a grill that we did not use. 15 minutes by car to Åmål.

A fantastic place! We as a family felt very comfortable in the cute houses. We didn't miss anything in terms of amenities. The view and the surrounding nature were wonderful. The landlords are very friendly and accommodating.

Peaceful and beautiful place. I really enjoyed this house and have a wonderful moment. Luckily, I saw the Aurora in the night time. Small town is not too far away from the house, whenever I want to buy something, I just visit the town easily. Also the town have a great swimming pool. I really love the swimming pool. Only one thing, since I do not know how to use motor boat, I could not use it. Also, before I arrived there, I asked some questions about fishing equipment rental and host borrowed me the fishing equipment, although I could not use it due to motor boat issues. Anyway, the host was very kind and provide useful information to me. Highly recommend this house 👍

My friends and I planned a quiet trip nearby a Swedish lake which is what we got. We found Gustav’s apartment to be clean, quiet and very close to nature. He responded to all of our questions immediately. Especially the lake within five minutes walking distance and the big and sunny terrace made the stay perfectly relaxing. Definitely worth the journey, we can only recommend!
