Here you live peaceful and spacious with the forest and lake close by. Herrestad Farm is surrounded by ancient monuments and has been inhabited for many thousands of years. Herrestad is a green oasis in the middle of an agricultural area and close to Sweden's largest freshwater lake. Wildlife is rich, both in terms of birdlife and deer. You can often see both deer and elk in the garden. Now life in the wild has also been expanded to include wild boar. In spring, the beautiful apple trees bloom and the houses are surrounded by several different types of beautiful deciduous trees.

Cosy, older house from 1909 with a summer cottage feel, in a quiet and leafy location with no close neighbours. Here you live peacefully with the feeling of the countryside, while central Åmål is only a 10–15 minute walk away. The entire house is for the private use of the guests. A river flows next to the house, and there is a grocery store just a few minutes away. As the house is close to the centre, there is also a footpath and some traffic nearby. Minor renovation work is carried out periodically. Bed linen and towels are provided when you make your own bed

Here, you are close to the forest, with walking paths and the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms. Fishing is also possible.

Welcome to a spacious house in beautiful countryside. The house was built in the 1940s but has been completely renovated since 2019. Häljebol is centrally located and from here you can reach sights in Karlstad, Arvika, Säffle and Årjäng. We have three separate bedrooms upstairs, with a total of 8 beds. Kitchen, dining room and two living rooms. Broadband via fiber, TV, washing machine and dryer. In late summer, you can pick fruit and berries in the garden. Since the house is newly renovated, we do not allow pets or smoking.

Less than 100 meters to lovely swimming in Lake Vänern with both a jetty and a small sandy beach. Nice grassy areas around the house for play and relaxing. Jetty with berth is available if you have a boat. If you want to look around, there is a farm shop nearby and at the end of Värmlandsnäs, the pleasant Ekenäs with restaurant and boat trips to Lurö.

Despite the close-to-nature location, it is only 5 km to the center of Karlstad, where you will find shops, restaurants, culture and entertainment. So you get the best of both worlds - the tranquility of the countryside and the pulse of the city within reach. 🏡

Central family villa with large sunny garden

Nice accommodation close to Karlstad city center with a variety of attractions such as shopping, restaurants, entertainment and culture. You are also close to Kroppkärrssjön where you can swim as well as several playgrounds and other activities such as bike trails, soccer fields and barbecue areas. Only 200 meters to the bus stop with several buses per hour that take you to Karlstad city center, Bomstad swimming area, Bergvik shopping center, Karlstad travel center, etc.

Cottage by the lake - with 16 beds

Nice cottage with 15+ beds, very close to a beautiful lake with a small pier and 3 small boats. Inside the main house we have sattelite-tv, DVD player, a very large stove and 2 separate bathrooms. Together with the guest house we have a total of 6 bedrooms. Outside you will find a large lawn with lots of garden furniture, as well as a nice pavilion. On the lawn you can play football or do other outdoor activities. You must remember to bring your own towels linens.

Dream house near the lake with its own Jacuzzi

This newly-built unique accommodation, my home, is located in the heart of Värmland. Fantastic views of Lake Glafsfjorden with sunsets that are irresistibly beautiful. Large wooden deck with its own Jacuzzi. Just a few hundred meters to the lake. Cows and calves are in the pasture that you have to go through to get down to the lake. The beach is rocky. I have an older rowboat by the lake that you can use freely. The boat is a little worn but works. Good fishing.

Färjestads B&B is a Bed and Breakfast in Karlstad within walking distance of Löfbergs Arena and Färjestadstravet and approximately 3,5 km from the city centre. Free parking is avaliable in the street near to the B&B entrance. Charging for an electric car can be borrowed at cost price so you can wake up with a fully charged car. Free WiFi, large garden with many seating options, bicycles avaliable to borrow. A total of four beds and a cot are avaliable.
