French Rural Retreat

Relaxing family and dog friendly Gite with it's own pond, on the border of Brittany in a peaceful rural area. Great for local walking, cycling and fishing. Nearby is La Rincerie, which provides water activities including a wake park, a lido beach and cafe bars. Supermarkets are a short drive away. Two hours drive from the ferry at St Malo or one and a half hours from Nantes airport. We are near the towns of Craon, Rennes, Laval and Vitre. Your hosts live next door and have a few cats.

A charming little house in the countryside.

The house is located in the hamlet of La Jaillette, on the Oudon River. The place is rich in heritage (12th-13th century priory church open for visits). I restored it with the most natural materials (cob, lime, hemp, old floor tiles, etc.). It consists of a living room with kitchenette (20 m2), a bathroom with shower (4 m2) and a bedroom upstairs under the attic insulated with wood wool. Private garden with furniture and umbrella.

Beautiful studio, newly renovated, close to the park and city centre with🥩 butcher, 🥐bakery,🍽 restaurant, bar,☕️ tobacco shop. The memory foam sofa bed and sofa is easy to use and offers a comfortable bed. The studio has a private terrace 🍸of 25 m2. If you are looking for beautiful hikes or cycling, it is perfect for nature lovers (🚲secure box). Located not far from Rennes and only 1 hour 15 minutes from the Breton coast⛵️🌊
