Our property is close to Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve, restaurants and dining. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the location, the kitchen, and the high ceilings. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and big groups. A home away from home.
“Beautiful accommodations with well thought out amenities. Breakfast at 8:00 was too late for us - no availability for early morning coffee or tea. Most restaurants in the area not open before 8:00 either. Menus similar to others that we have experienced in our travels from St John’s- fish and chips, burgers, fried chicken and various local fried fish dishes. It’s a challenge to grow vegetables in this climate and terrain, so vegetable offerings are mostly frozen - mixed veg, peas and carrots etc or root vegetables. People are warm and welcoming- take the time to have a chat with the local folks you meet. You’ll hear great stories and learn so much more than from the tour books. One word of caution- hikes tend to be rocky, hilly and close to the edge in most places- not for the faint of heart -take walking poles. Loving our visit to the Rock. 💕”

“Gordon's house is a beautiful little piece of Newfoundland heaven. It is brand new and immaculate. It has everything you could want in a vacation home: comfy bed, incredible kitchen stocked with absolutely everything you could want for preparing food, a wonderful sun room that offers a nice view of the sunset, a game room, lots of privacy, and homemade blueberry muffins (thank you so much Gordon!). It is wonderful! The house is as close as you can get to the St. Mary's Ecological Reserve, which I highly suggest you visit while here. You can see tens of thousands of seabirds nesting just a few meters away. I would definitely stay here again and One note that internet is listed on Air B&B, but we could not connect to the service for the time we were there. I don't believe this is Gordon's fault, but wanted to mention it for anyone who does work on the road like my hubby and I do.”
Licensed and inspected by tourism board, this lovely, two-bedroom cottage style- apartment is directly on the water . Wake up in the morning to a spectacular ocean view, right in the centre of town. A full kitchen, TV, wifi and more makes this a home away from home.
“This little cottage was lovely and exactly as advertised. The hike up to the fort was great and the views from there were amazing. Cottage was very clean and had a kurig with a couple of k-cups of coffee and a few creamers to get you started. If your a big coffee drinker like me I suggest a stop at the grocery store uptown to grab some more. From the deck you could look up into the bay or towards the bridge into the ocean. No boat traffic this time of year and many places were closed for the season. We didn’t eat at the cottage so not sure if there were any kind of spices or what cook ware it has. But the coupon for Three Sisters was nice and they had good food and it’s just a short walk over the bridge.”
