Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. (This accommodation has not been adapted for people with disabilities of any kind.)

Lovers' Retreat – Nature / Pool / Park

In the midst of calm and tranquillity lies the Refuge des Amoureux, formerly a bread oven, which has been carefully renovated with a modern touch. 30 minutes from Tours and the Chateaux de la Loire, this refuge is perfect for couples or small families . At weddings, this retreat is considered the bridal suite for the newlyweds. From 15 May to 30 September, you can enjoy the shared, secure and heated swimming pool (from 1 May to 15 October) located at the entrance to the estate.

Close to the Chinon vineyard and the medieval city, your cottage is conveniently located for discovering Touraine and its architectural gems (Saché, Rigny-Ussé, Villandry, Amboise, Chenonceau, Blois, Chambord).
