Nestled in the middle of the fields, in the heart of the Lauragais, our farmhouse invites you to relax and reunite with family or friends. Small piece of paradise, you can enjoy the fenced pool south side with a magnificent view of the Lauragais hillsides and the Pyrenees mountain range. Lunch or nap under the shade of an ash tree and in the evening you can dine in a small enclosed vegetable garden illuminated by garlands.. This touch of charm will offer you unforgettable moments!

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Located 25 minutes from Toulouse in the Lauragais and 30 minutes from Castelnaudary, this place will allow you to spend family vacations and enjoy romantic outings in the surrounding villages. It is also ideal for working peacefully. Villenouvelle train station is a 10-minute walk away. Garage and private garden with relaxation area.

British owners Peter and Tom welcome groups of up to six people. There is also potential to accommodate an additional two guests (plus child) in an adjoining room with private bathroom.
