Fantastic accommodation in breathtaking surroundings with really nice and kind hosts. Truly a gem of a place an hour drive to most stunning locations in the mountains or by the sea.

Bernadette was an incredible host, super sweet and accommodating. Her place was beautiful and charming, a perfect place for us to rewind and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood fire burning fireplace and expansive garden outside. She also makes home made jams from her garden, unique flavors that are all delicious! 

The photos do not do it justice, it is in a beautiful environment and the village where it is also located. Better than I expected, while it is 1 hr from Biarritz, it is worth the quiet environment where it is located.

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandre's place. The house is so cosy and welcoming, we felt at home from the moment we arrived. It's well equipped with everything you need, and the stove provides the perfect warmth for winter days. The surrounding is prefect to disconnect, so silent and peaceful, and the picturesque town of Bailes de Bearn is just a few minutes drive away, with all the necessary amenities. There are many other interesting places to visit within an hour, including Pau or Navarrex. We didn't have the chance to meet Alexandre, but he was very helpful and kept constant contact via messages. We hope to return some other time, it felt so short we wished we could have stayed longer.
