The beach at the access by the house is typically not crowded even on holidays. The sound access nearby is frequented by kayakers/paddle-boarders. Historic Southport and Wilmington are nearby (25 and 40 min respectively) with just over an hour drive to Myrtle Beach. Mid-June-Aug Sun-Sund stays only.

One of the best values on Oak Island. We are following a strict cleaning protocol! All are welcome to our Beautiful Beach House! We have installed a new air conditioning and heating system. We have hired a new cleaning crew! Have fun!

The Pink Flamingo is located on the northeast quadrant of Oak Island, ¾ mile from the beach, ½ block to the Oak Island Nature Park on the Intracoastal Waterway, and a short walk to the public boat launch.
