We had wonderful weekends stay at the barn apartment. Andrea and Cecilia are great and very hospitable hosts. The surrounding grounds are a lovely place to relax and forget about daily life and the on-site restaurant was an unexpected bonus. The trail riding was a great experience, and I would highly recommend.

This home is exactly as pictured. Beautiful and welcoming with a beautiful view of the lake. I would definitely recommend staying here for a quiet vacation. The host (Kirk) is fantastic and responsive with any questions. I look forward to coming back again some time.

We stayed at Teresa's home for a Clemson family weekend and it couldn't have been better. The setting on the lake was accessible and private and we loved the water front views with our morning coffee on the deck. The house was fully equipped and decorated in such a thoughtful way that made us feel at home and on vacation. Teresa was the perfect host.

Wonderful place with amazing hosts and great views! Everything said in the listing is understated! Our expectations were greatly exceeded. Surprisingly clean and pest free for a lake house, this property has true unobstructed views of the lake and a great outdoor and dock area. This place has everything you need to enjoy a nice, relaxing stay in the country at lakeside. It reminds me of everything we love about Upstate SC!

We had a wonderful stay in Balsam Grove! Spent a week with our family and 2 dogs. Lots to do in the area - Brevard, National Parks, Waterfalls, Fishing , Lake Toxaway, etc. The house is wonderful for kids and dogs. John is a great host. Highly recommend!

The perfect place for my immediate and extended family to stay in during my son's graduation from Clemson (Go Tigers!) Inside, the house is warm and inviting with lots of room for everyone. And nothing beats sitting out on the deck/porch and looking at the water/lake while sipping on coffee and talking. And I loved learning more about permaculture and their growing trade school from Scott who was so nice. Very happy with our stay!

Wonderful! Our family really enjoyed this beautiful property and all of its amenities. We felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in. There are some very nice touches to this great property to make you feel right at home. Everything we were looking for to make memories over a long weekend. Secluded location but only 15 mins from stores and restaurants. We would definitely love to stay here again.

This single level, 5 bedroom home is on a beautiful lake with a very big yard and many activities (including kayaks, paddle board, dock, tether ball, fosball and fishing). The portable crib, high chair, small couch and outside chair in the children's area was very helpful for our grandson. The setting was very peaceful. There were many outside activities including the Whitewater Center, the amusement park and nature centers that we enjoyed.

Great 3 day getaway with our family! Husband, kids (ages 9 & 12). House accommodations were great!! Loved playing tennis table in the evenings and drinking coffee out by the lake in the mornings! Would recommend
