“Alessandro’s place was outstanding! Everything was high quality from the comfy beds to the well equipped kitchen. Each room has its own thermostat for the floors and the base board heating so it was super cozy. The fireplace was a bonus! The big windows allowed for full view of the surrounding wooded area. Alessandro was very quick to respond to any questions although the internet is patchy. I actually didn’t mind that though since I was going there to unplug. It was the perfect place to do that and I hope to return soon!”

“Absolutely lovely place to stay! It is rustic and comfortable at the same time, with lots of little touches that make it special. A few highlights: * The host messaged us the week of to welcome us, letting us know the place had been empty since mid-March (to ease any COVID concerns), which was thoughtful. * The check-in was easy and could be done without meeting in person. * The host left coffee and fresh eggs in the fridge. The kitchen is also recently renovated and absolutely wonderful! It was stocked with the basics (oil, salt, pepper, coffee filters, tea, flour, sugar) and all the pots / pans / plates were spotless. * There was a printed guide for a range of local activities & restaurant recommendations. * Plenty of board games & even a coloring corner with pencils and adult coloring print-outs. * The on-premises farm is a fun added perk - we got to feed the rescue goats and chickens and play fetch with the dogs. But it's in a different part of the property, so you don't have to interact with it if you don't want to. * Even though the Aframe is technically connected to the main house, it feels very independent / isolated. We didn't see or hear anyone else until we walked over to the farm. It's well thought-out and well managed. Highly recommend!”
