San Donato di Lecce is located perfectly and it is a great spot for daily trips to many beaches or cities. Paola's flat is perfect for relaxing after a long day. You can go there without a second thought. Very clean accommodation and as described. Very nice owners and always available. Hearty breakfast consisting, depending on the day, of local or homemade pastries. While the village of San Donato is very charming, a car is nevertheless recommended to discover the rest of this very beautiful region of Salento.

Castro is a great place to to go on vacation in October. It wasn't too hot, but warm enough to swim in the sea and soak up the sun. It is quiet this time of year. From the apartment you can walk to the harbor in 15 minutes, where there are nice cafes and you can swim in the turquoise sea. The swimming area directly below the apartment is also great, you go from the rocks into the sea. We often had a picnic there with the family. The apartment is simply and practically furnished, it was great! Merci Luisa!
