Overall- incredible. In a rustic building, but the space was very modern. The kitchen was stocked with all needed items and more. Same with the bathrooms. Lots of extra bedding. No complaints about the space, but the real star of the show was the location, animals, and friendly hosts. Hectares of farmland, with beautiful view of the sunset when it’s clear. There were dogs (very friendly), cats, sheep, a pig, chickens, and ducks and geese. The staff of the farm and Nicola were all easy to talk to and friendly. The dogs did a great job of keeping the property safe! It was fun to be surrounded by real life on the farm.

It’s a gem, this appartment. Quiet with a fabulous roofterrace and in about 30 Minutes you are in Matera. Owners are quick responders and gave us usefull (diner)suggestions.

What can I say, starting from the assumption that nowadays finding people so humble and so good is really rare! My travel companions and I, at a time of extreme difficulty with our means of transport, asked Federica for which she did not hesitate to waste time, together with her father Mr. Senatro to come meet us to help us. They were super helpful and really kind, I HIGHLY recommend their super cozy and comfortable apartment. Despite the inconvenience, my friends and I were really happy and super satisfied! Thanks again for everything, we will never stop thanking you! A hug 💕

Pietrapertosa is a stunning place to spend time - currently undervalued by tourists in comparison to many of Italy's more popular attractions. Annarita's photos provide a realistic but modest impression of the property; they are unable to fully communicate the charming nature of the stone building on a quiet lane of a historic town, with views into the valley below. The central location is perfect for activities in and around the town, although, by necessity, parking has to be a few hundred meters away. The property is supplied with every amenity I could have possibly needed and more. Annarita and her father Pasquale are thoughtful and congenial hosts. When I return to Pietrapertosa, the first thing I will do is check whether this property is available - if so, there will be no need to look elsewhere.
