We were very doubtful about where to establish our residence, if by the Atlantic swells or rather by the coniferous forest on the skirts of Teide. Being fanatics of nature and sports, no matter if it's trekking, cycling, paragliding, golf or windsurfing we decided we would rather stick to the middle road, and in our search we bumped into San Miguel, a charming small town, away from the hustle and off the beaten track, still all amenities a short walk away. We surely found the perfect balance.

The house "El Mar" (The Sea), was given this name due to its impressive location on the top of a small cliff where it stands as an unbeatable balcony over the never ending day and night spectacular changes of the Atlantic ocean. Placed in the north cost of Tenerife, as part of a small private housing development of only 12 houses, it´s surrounded by banana plantations, excepcional views protected natural area of La Rambla Castro, where canarian nature and seashore can be enjoyed.

Being fans of nature and sports, whether hiking, cycling, paragliding, golf, surfing, kite or windsurfing, we didn't know very well where to settle, whether next to the Atlantic Ocean or on the contrary near the forest crown in the foothills of Teide. In our search we came across San Miguel, a small town with a lot of charm, away from the hustle and bustle, but with all the amenities at your fingertips. Now with perspective we are sure we have found the perfect balance.

An authentic experience of relaxation and tranquility away from the masses, mobile coverage, and the hustle and bustle of the city.

@sleephousetenerife Beautiful Canarian-style house with two rooms recently renovated with a large terrace and a swimming pool with solarium and chilling area. The house is located in a quiet area with a rural atmosphere but with the advantage of being only 15 minutes away from the beach. The house is on the top of a hill and has a wonderful and clean panoramic view towards the sea. The sunsets are magnificent with La Gomera island on background.
