Apartment holiday rentals in San Pedro La Laguna

the positive: the space is in the middle of the town. next to the lake within a three minute walk. the town is not a tourist destination but offers and experience of what life is like for the residents. Parking above the stairs is safe and cheap. I liked the location and the hotel but you must understand that it isn't luxurious. it is fine for travelers who are used to staying in a location for a day or two. Everything but restaurants closes by 7pm. Internet was fine. Everyone is nice and helpful in the town if you have questions or need suggestions. the negative: noisy if you do not like noise. Not because of parties or music or cars but due to animals since it is a small town. Water in shower is freezing. Alot of stairs and hills to drive or walk to get around the town. I don't mind but you might.

Excellent location, it is close to the lake, restaurants, handicrafts market, the deal with the host was very good and was always up to the needs of his guests, I would choose this stay again for our next visits!

Great stay in a great location. Highly recommend to anyone. Very pretty garden. Friendly pets on site and Juana was very kind.

The Aura apartment is beautiful. The view is even more beautiful than the pictures! We also had a lot of fun with the black house cat that visited us every morning. The contact with Aisha was always super friendly, quick and helpful! The fact that the accommodation is located on such a steep mountain and you have to be well within walking distance should be aware, but it is easy to bypass by taking TukTuks. We would always come back!

Phyllis is a wonderful host. She and Blaine have an absolutely gorgeous property; the pictures don't do it justice. We actually booked a different part of the property now and plan to stay much longer if we can! We love it here. It's a perfect distance from town so it's quiet and secluded, but still close enough so that walking is great. Would highly recommend this place. The wifi is great. Lovely cozy space. Stunning Views. We adored our time here! Annika was amazing - so helpful and always responsive. Anything you need including cleaning she would arrange. The apartment is in a perfect location within a gated and private courtyard that’s super green and lush. There are also at least 5 super friendly cats there! It made it really feel like home. It was a great set up for as digital nomads and staying right next to a great cafe. Also water delivery is included which is such a nice touch. Thank you and we can’t wait to stay here again!

The best thing about the apartment, is the view of the lake, it is located on the 10th level, the photos on the page are real, very good location, has parking, access to the pool, Jacuzzi and the hotel beach. Close to the Atitlan Reserve and other hotels that provide the Restaurant service, the Panajachel village is 5 minutes away by car. Glenda would meet our request, easy check-in and check-out.

We spent two lovely nights in this comfortable bed after coming back from the Vulcano and couldn’t have wished for more. Dana is very responsive and has lots of recommendations for San Pedro. The room is well equipped, has beautiful details and matches the pictures. Location is close to the center of San Pedro and everything is walkable. Big plus is the beautiful shared rooftop terrace. As the hosts let us know in advance it can be very loud at night and believe them it is - so better bring some earplugs in case you’re sensitive with noise.

Casa Madera was a wonderful choice and unique experience for us. The private apartment is just like the pictures, very clean, and organized. We enjoyed the outside kitchen every day, the swing, and the views of course. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience in a quiet town. Easy access to the boats, if you are wanting to explore the other towns. However, I definitely will suggest to pack light since you will need to walk with your stuff until you arrive at the end of the walking only pathway.

I felt immediately at home in Tzanabaj! Nico and Venus are great hosts and I loved my studio! right by the lake, peaceful, while also close to the city center (10 min tuk tuk), where the restaurants and supermarkets can be found. There is also a beautiful community living in the other houses, so you can have your privacy and socialise with other like-minded people if you want. Totally recommend!

Beautiful views of Lake Atitlan! Penthouse on the top floor was beautiful. Room was clean, ceiling fan kept the room cool when we had hot weather. Bathroom is shared with other room on your floor, they only provide enough towels for one room, so maybe bring towels. The kitchen & water is located in the top floor, so expect some flights of stairs if you want to cook a meal or get thirsty. Pro-tip: pack light as the walkway to the hotel is fairly steep. Overall, it’s a great stay for the amount of money paid and the host always got back to us about any issues. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Despite the continuous barking by the neighbor dogs, which, of course the host cannot control, Werner was hyper attentive and even resolved a misunderstanding (on our part) and added a coffee maker to the unit. He did not have to do that but went above and beyond!! we were up at 6 AM every day to leave for medical clinics around the lake in the added coffee pot was a huge blessing!

Simple accommodation with a view to die for. the chairs should be upgraded to enjoy the patio better, but we were really happy to stay here. You need a tuktuk to town to enjoy the place comfortably, but distance wise its possible to walk. Recommended!

This condo was a perfect spot to have amenities of a hotel yet feel like you're in a home. Downstairs was a restaurant & bar on site, a pool, two hot tubs and access to your private beach (lake). There was a game room with 2 table tennis, card games, foosball table and jenga. The views inside the condo was just undeniably incredible. My favorite part by far. There isn't AC inside or fan's but the time we traveled the nights were cool. It's spacious and safe. Just a quick drive (5 minutes up a hill) to get to the town, a tuk tuk can come pick you up or you can walk into town. Everything is very close and easy to access, tours, dining, bars, shopping, lake access, etc. We felt so comfortable and safe the entire time. There are a lot of happy and well fed dogs all over Guatemala. They are so cute to see. Highly recommend this location. Lake Atitlan is just stunning!

The suite was situated up the hill from the main town so therefore the view was absolutely stellar. It was bright, open and clean and Hodges was very responsive when we had questions. It's possible to take a TukTuk up and down the road from the main town, or you can choose to hike the stairs. We just used the TukTuk when we arrived and left, due to our luggage, but did the stairs every other day just like the locals. We looked at it as great exercise that offset our chill time in the great coffee shops and restaurants. There are no window coverings, so its essential to bring an eye mask for the light and earplugs for the dogs and roosters at night. The suite is up in the locals part of town, so although there a lot of dogs in Guatemala, there are more in the locals area, along with, chickens and roosters. This is authentic Guatemala, and the locals and super friendly. They also appreciate your greetings (hola, buenos dias... etc) when passing by.

My stay at the Sacred Tree was an absolute dream. The grounds, casita, and views were gorgeous and relaxing. The people working at Sacred Tree made the trip special as they were welcoming, warm, and helped us with everything we could have possibly imagined. I must return to this very special place. The hospitality, tranquility, and delicious meals make this place a rare gem!
