Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sandy Bay

Great location with lovely views of the water and with great walks. It was quiet and peaeful even though it is only 45mins from Hobart with an easy drive!

Beautiful, spacious and warm home. great location, with nice cafes & restaurants in the area. We loved the fireplace in the living area and the beautiful mountain views. I would reccomend parking your car on the street behind the property.

For a person who has worked in the tourism, event, and hospitality industry for nearly twenty years, Kerry’s thoughtful customized messages and full equipment kitchen with the selection of tea supplies ( and other complementaries) meet all Airbnbers needs. They know what the guest wants and what might let the guest down. I can see why the rating is high. Let alone the stylish design and walkable distance to the yummy cafe. The long weekend just feeling a bit too short. Thank you for everything!

We had the best stay, spending Easter with family. The house was beyond stunning and made it hard to want to leave and explore Hobart and surrounds! The fire pit was loved and we spent most evenings watching the local kangaroos in the yard and admiring the views (as well as roasting copious amounts of marshmellows!). Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home and make precious memories.

Thank you so much for allowing my family and I to enjoy a wonderful stay at Lumeah...From the moment we stepped in to this the home we felt so comfortable, Everything that we needed was provided, the beds were so comfy and warm, The family were excited to even have a BBQ for one nite for dinner...We will definately recommend this beautiful place to stay to our family and friends.

A lovely and very well priced stay in the beachside town of Dodges Ferry. Local shop has good variety of food if you forget something from Sorell supermarket, also a daily supply of fresh bread from yummy Hobart bakeries. The local cafes near Park Beach serve decent coffee, and the beaches are lovely in all weather. The main bedroom is lovely but very light in the mornings if you are a light sleeper, also no wall between main bedroom and kitchen/lounge area- very open and airy which has its pros and cons. Not a problem, just something to be aware of as may not suit everyone. Excellent sunken 'den' and room with double bed, which our teen loved. We visited in Autumn and had a lot of fun, would be a great place to stay at in summer too. We would would stay here again if looking for accommodation in the area.

We loved the views and privacy, had room to spread out and the games room and trampoline were great for keeping children amused.

Everything about Jo & her place was wonderful. I stayed twice during my visit to Tasmania & both times were equally great. The apartment itself has a little mix of antique & modern with lovely styling. The kitchen was well equipped, beds very comfortable & the view is incredible. We’ll definitely stay again if we return to Hobart

The prefect place for 6 lads spending time in Hobart. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was great with a lovely view over the back garden to the Riverlet. The only down side was given the nature of the property with the host’s living upstairs footstep noises carried through and woke us early each morning. Other than that the accommodation was very private and Jacqui was lovely to deal with and was thoughtful and considerate.

We had a great time and the shops and restaurants were closed by. The apartment had all we needed. We are happy to stay here again.

Angela was a very good communicator, very friendly when she greeted us on arrival. And communicated very well during our stay. The provisions Angela supplied surpassed what we expected and everything was lovely. Highly recommended Angela as a host for your requirements in and around the Hobart area.

Craig is a friendly and welcoming host and came to welcome us after we arrived. Our accommodation was brand new and spotlessly clean. The chalets are beautifully designed both inside and out and there are wonderful views to Fluted Cape on Bruny Island The artwork reflects Craig's passion: rescuing injured raptors and returning them to the wild. it is well worth making an appointment to visit the raptor centre during your stay. There are plenty of attractions locally and we enjoyed the cliff top walk in Coningham Reserve. The IgA in nearby Snug is excellent for groceries etc. We thoroughly recommend a stay here. We had a lovely stay at Orchard’s nest for my partner’s 40th. It was really relaxing, beautifully furnished, the bed and linen were so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Absolutely recommend for a place to relax and reset.

We have enjoyed our week long stay here so much. So relaxed and peaceful with the wild life surroundings and the beautiful spring running through at the bottom of the cabin. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a memorable holiday.
