The house is the result of the recovery of an old storage room where one of the cisterns that supplied the hill was located. There was a great respect for traditional architecture, and the entire original layout of the house was maintained. The decor is sober, but with small "vintage" touches, where restored furniture is combined with more contemporary pieces. Our House is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, right in front of the Salt flats around Tavira and Cabanas where the Algarve cycle path from the very east of the Algarve runs all along the coastline towards the western end. Enjoy the stunning sea views from the upper terrace, the covered patio in the little garden or take a walk into nature to watch various birds. The local beach is a 25-30 min walk away as well as the center of Tavira with its many restaurants, bars/cafés and boutiques.
