Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Satilla River

What a lovely place ! I was in town to do some birding around the area. I found the location to be close enough to everything that I needed. You aren't right in town - but everything is within a few minutes drive and barely any traffic. The main bed is incredibly comfortable. The setting is beautiful and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. As for coffee (from a person who needs it desperately in the morning!) , there is a drip maker and a packet of coffee grounds as well as sugar is provided. You'll need to get creamer and whatever other sweetener you might like. The television provided regular cable (change the input) or use whatever streaming service you have on your own. There are enough bedrooms and space for a family or large group to be more than comfortable here. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home in a quiet, central neighborhood adjacent to a community park. We could walk to the beach, restaurants, & the lighthouse area. Grocery stores and boutique shopping are a quick drive. Easy to access, extremely clean and well appointed. Had everything we could possibly need and all was very organized. We loved the welcome note and bottle of wine. It was so wonderful to be able to bring our dog. He enjoyed the park right across the street. The fenced back yard with pool was a great sanctuary after the beach. The pool temperature was perfect without being heated in mid-April. Loved the outdoor shower. The home has tile floors throughout and each bedroom has a walk-in closet w/ hangers! Both bathrooms had all we needed and are very modern and spa like. Jekyll Island, Darien & Brunswick are close enough for a visit, which we took advantage of. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and provided recommendations for restaurants. Can't wait to return! Thank you!!

We had an enjoyable stay-the house is perfect for a large family. Having the downstairs play room, movie room, and pool was an extra bonus for the parents to keep the kiddos happy and engaged between activities around the island and the rain from Debby. We love SSI and have already booked our return trip for this home in a few months. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this property evacuating during hurricane Milton. Kathy was very empathetic, responsive, and kind enough to let us check in early. The property was nice and clean, very quiet and great neighbors. Would happily stay here again whenever I come back to the island!

We loved the covered porch and tons of fenced yard for our dog. The kitchen was well equipped and the descriptions for the house were all very accurate. My husband was able to run meetings with the excellent internet too! Would happily stay again :)

Excellent space, comfy bed, quiet area close to the historic downtown, fishing area, not far from St Simons Island, will stay again

The house was very nice, it was a perfect base to visit Savannah, Jacksonville and of course Brunswick and all they have to offer. The only down side is that our stay was too short ;-)

We stayed here 3 nights for our 25th wedding anniversary. First time in St Simons. The townhouse was clean and well stocked with everything we could need. We found lots of bed choices and ours was very comfortable. Great having 2 different bathrooms to get ready. Loved the back patio and park like grounds where we walked with our dogs. Pool opens May 1st but we didn’t mind. Loved riding the bikes to East Beach right around the corner. Felt safe with wide sidewalks and explored Bruce Dr which led us to Gould jetty area we loved. Loved the lighthouse view, the pier area for sunsets and shopping. Ate a superb healthy lunch at olive oil market restaurant and romantic fun dinner at rooftop lodge. Hubby really enjoyed exploring Fort Frederica and next door is beautiful Christ church but inside tours are 2-5 so we were too early. Beautiful island with lots to see and do. Enjoyed it tremendously. Madison was attentive and quick to respond any questions. Highly recommend her home.

An absolutely beautiful setting in the marsh. Gorgeous 100 year-old oaks, Spanish moss, tons of birds, right on the marsh with creek access. Quick boat ride to the ICW and Sapelo Island from the property dock with gorgeous views. We stayed in the Dogtrot cottage and it was beautifully appointed, lots of amenities and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome with a charcuterie board, local honey, wine, and other local goodies. Perfect place to unwind with family and reconnect with nature. Only 10 min to Darien’s charming restaurants.

Candice was extremely accommodating and helpful whilst we were transitioning to move back to Brunswick. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay! I can’t thank her enough for her hospitality and for being so helpful ❤️

The home was very clean and fit seven people comfortably. The host thought of everything, and anything we needed was in place ready to go. Bicycles were in excellent condition and the pool was so much fun with the family. There was a closet full of games and lots of thoughtful books and movies for all ages throughout. The host provided advice on how to get the most out of our stay in the area.

We had a great time at a beautiful place for our very first rental! Lots to do just within the little community for different age ranges. Short distance to multiple things to do. Great host and would stay again!

Highly recommend this charming cottage for your St. Mary’s stay! We visited my sister in Kingsland for the weekend and loved having a space where she could stay with us. The home is dog-friendly, and while they provided waste bags, we brought our own—so thoughtful! The kitchen has both a Keurig and a regular coffee pot. We didn’t use the washer and dryer, but they’re a great perk for longer stays. The outdoor seating area was cute, and the included bikes were a nice touch. I don’t understand reviews saying it was too small for two people—we had three adults and a dog, and it was perfect! Two private bedrooms with three beds, a living room with a couch and chair, a full kitchen, and a bathroom—it felt just right. The location is fantastic—walkable to shops and restaurants. We explored the stores, had dinner at The Firefly, coffee and pastries at The Kraken, then grabbed snacks from Farm to Family and enjoyed a movie back at the Airbnb. We’d absolutely stay again!

Wonderful place to stay just steps away from the beach! Rental was spotless and looked exactly as the pictures did. Accommodating for groups. All around great stay! Oh, and very responsive host company.

Barry was a very responsive host. We texted him that the rental was missing a few kitchen items and he supplied us with them in 10 mins. Cute cozy place with a nice deck overlooking a pond. Quiet and private. A relaxing place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dean’s place! It was a short drive to downtown fernandina which we loved! Tons of cute shops, restaurants and bars very close by. The back yard was perfect for our pups. We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Osprey Retreat. The house is charming and unique surrounded by ferns, flowers and moss covered trees. The porch is the absolute best. Great layout. Living room could be tight if you are a family of 4 for TV watching but perfect for 2. Set back on a quiet lane, perfect area for morning walks with our dogs. beautiful, quiet respectful neighborhood. Outdoor lighting was great for the after dark dog potty breaks. Fantastic location, close to local breweries, groceries, shopping, excellent dining, and very close to the bridge to get to Island. You have the best of both worlds here. peace and quiet but in minutes you can be at the beach. I would definitely recommend.

Katherine's cottage was so cozy and comfortable. We came for the Easter weekend and we're so glad we choose a rental off of the islands that were so busy with people and traffic. But still, only a short drive to Jekyll Island. The bed in the master was so comfortable, we loved sitting on the screened-in porch and the rental had everything we needed. We will definitely rent again the next time visiting!
