"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

Gemünden Castle with swimming pool

The 13th century castle sits above the village of Gemünden, also called "the pearl of the Hunsrück". The beautiful and spacious rooms offer plenty of space and peace and a unique historical experience. Thanks to the thick castle walls, it is also pleasant and of course cool in high summer. On the castle terrace under the Linden, you can relax and enjoy the view of the opposite Soon Forest. Perfect for family holidays or with friends and colleagues.

Lovely and modern wine-enjoyment apartment

Visit our quiet and stylishly furnished apartment in Meddersheim in the middle of the Nahe wine region. For 2 to 4 people, we would like to offer you a special experience on our spacious grounds. Friendly contacts exist with the winegrowing families from Meddersheim and with the top wineries Emrich-Schönleber in Monzingen and Dönnhoff in Oberhausen. The wine refrigerator is always well-stocked and wine tastings can be arranged individually.

The cozy holiday apartment in the old Hunsrück farmhouse is a good starting point for hiking on the most beautiful paths in Rhineland-Palatinate typical natural landscapes: walk on enchanted paths in the "Hahnenbachtal" to the mighty "Schmidtburg" and restored Celtic settlement "Altburg" or on the "Soonwald-Steig" . Discover the Lützelsoon and Soonwald - a dream for nature lovers in every season. Or just relax and enjoy the fresh air.

Ideal starting point for hikes, vacations with dogs, biking, motorcycle tours, exploring wild valleys, discovering dream trails, visiting castles and mines, hiking meadows and forests, enjoying nature, finding peace.... Up to 2 dogs are welcome for a small fee. Breakfast on request at the price of 8.50 euros per person. Shopping is 10 minutes by car

Wie sagte ein Freund: das ist ja ein Rosamunde-Pilcher-Traum... :) Das Gingerbread Guesthouse is ein 350 Jahre altes Fachwerkhaus im malerischen Städtchen Bacharach. In der 100 qm großen Ferienwohnung soll man sich sofort zuhause fühlen und die unglaublichen Ausblicke auf den berühmten Malerwinkel, die Stadtmauer mit dem Liebesturm und die Burg Stahleck genießen. Mehr Mittelrheinromantik geht nicht.

The Schinderhanneshof apartment is located on the outskirts of Weitersborn in southern Hunsrück, on the edge of the Soonwald, at an altitude of 380 m. You have nature right at your doorstep and can go hiking, horseback riding, cycling or sightseeing from here. Wine lovers will also get their money's worth in the Nahe wine region. Parking and Wi-Fi are available.
