This is a lovely property with great views. Derek & Inge are the perfect hosts. They were friendly and very helpful. Amenities - the attention to detail was above what we expected.

Amazing stay, the horses were so friendly, we got to pet them all right at the Airbnb. What an awesome experience. We were just stopping over for one night but it might be our favorite night yet. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved the unique home, beautiful views and tranquility! We would 150% recommend this little paradise! Loved our welcome kit…local bread, great wine bottle and a Portuguese sausage, made a delicious lunch! Francisco was a great host. We had the pleasure of meeting him, he’s a very friendly and knowledgeable person. It was very hard to leave! Definitely a must repeat! An unforgettable experience! Até à próxima Casa Moinho da Eira! Beautiful place in the midst of nature away from everything. Nice to take a stroll along the river or just hangout in the hammock to completely reset. I was happy to read upfront other reviews that the access was challenging for suitcases, so i was happy I brought my sportbag with me to carry stuff from the car to the treehouse (5min walk up/down stairs). Also good to know you’re completely off the telephone grid in 15min radius in and around the house. Wifi works well enough for WAcalls but not strong enough for Zoom. So don’t plan work stuff from the treehouse like i did, but go to the cowork place in Tavira. Even though its a safe area, as a solo traveler and the lack of phone&wifi connection outside the house, this time it didn’t seem like a smart idea to go on a mini adventure like i am used to be doing. I sprained my ankle while plucking an orange, and glad that i was near the house without needing help. Download the offline google map of this area. And then enjoy!
