Here you can really enjoy nice days off with fresh mountain air, activities, nature and fireplace. Modern cabin from 2021 with panoramic windows from floor to ceiling that open the cabin to a spectacular view. The view changes with the season. In the summer, the sheep graze around the cabin and if you are lucky, a hare will come hopping. In winter, there is ski in/out. The cabin has both a heat pump and a fireplace that provides a cozy atmosphere. The spacious attic with TV, Lego and games is perfect for the children. The cabin is perfect for two families. If you are only adults, a maximum of 8 people is recommended.

Cabin at Gautestad with charging facilities for electric cars!

The cabin is located in scenic surroundings on Gautestad about 17 km from Evje city centre. There are several nice hiking areas nearby, bathing water and great uphill cross country skiing tracks in winter. Evje has lots to offer, including other climbing park, go-karting, Evje Mineralpark and TrollAktiv. The latter has a variety of activities such as rafting, canoe rental, paintball arrow and bow and much more. Booking in hay/winter and Easter holidays runs from Thursday-Monday and Monday-Thursday

Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.

The cabin is spacious at 150 m², with four bedrooms and sleeping space for up to 11 guests—perfect for two families traveling together. In addition, a luxurious sauna with panoramic fjord and mountain views is scheduled for completion by spring/summer 2026. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!
