Beachfront holiday rentals in Skiathos

This is a unique gem in a gorgeous and exclusive natural surrounding, managed by lovely hosts - Greek hospitality at its best! The property has the extraordinary privilege of direct access to the sea; it has a private, tiny sand beach and a swimming jetty. As a family with a 9-year-old boy, we loved the fact that we could go for a spontaneous swim anytime, being able to return to the apartment in a minute whenever we wanted. The property boasts some beautiful large trees, a nicely kept flower garden with deck chairs, and it is lovingly decorated with a nautical theme. We loved the sound of the waves gently slapping against the rocks just a few metres from our balcony while enjoying the panorama of Skiathos town - which is close enough for a great view but distant enough not to be bothered by it. The apartment was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed. Dimitra and her family were ever so kind and helpful. Dimitra, thank you for the wonderful time we spent at your place!

The location of the house is ideal ! The house is simple, improvements would be needed but is what it is needed for an intimate environment with easy access to a wild,gorgeous beach with sand and rocks(a wonder ) .Make the guidance of the host carefully, we entered a farm road,unpaved and had problems with a low car (Audi A 6). 10 kilometers away,is the village of Argalasti where you can shop. From the terrace of the house,you can admire a fascinating sunrise. We totally loved the place and the privacy we had and we want to come back here next year. Thank youHelen !

We had a great time at Eleni’s house and I highly recommend this listing! Very clean practical accommodation and suitable even for a young family of 4! Close to the old town of Alonnisos-literally up the hill-but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet after the kids are asleep. The view from the balconies is breathtaking and something that will stay with me for my forever! Location is strategic for exploring the island and has its own carlark which is very important as the old town is very popular. Plenty of amenities/restaurants/coffee places near by at the old town if you want to have a “lazy” day. The small kitchen is enough to accommodate culinary creations. There is air condition available but the island is very windy at night so if you are not worried about the light coming through you can leave windows open! Eleni was very responsive to all our needs/requests and I am super grateful-one of the best hosts I have encountered so far! We will be definitely going back

Myself and two friends loved staying in this beautiful villa. It is in the perfect location - a 5 minute walk to the closest beach and nearby to lots of local restaurants and a small supermarket. The villa was very clean and spacious with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Vicky was an amazing host and was incredibly kind and welcoming. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again!

Sofia is a great host, we spent beautiful holiday. It was better than what we expected. Perfect place for a family holiday or to spend some time with the friends We will come again for sure.

Christina (Jane & Stavros), we’re great hosts! Staying in the beach house was very nice and our Kids felt like staying at home from the First day! The Location so close to the sea (50 meters) and the „private“ tavern with awesome food next to the house were perfect. You can find anything you need in the house and the outdoor space is huge. A supermarket you can find 2 minutes away. The contact/communication via WhatsApp and phone was perfect and very helpful! Only the combination Moskitos and the high temperature was not so easy to manage. But we came along with that and had a great stay! Thank you 😁😎

We had the most fantastic break at Barbara’s place. We didn’t want to leave. The listing and photos really don’t do justice to it. Sitting on the balcony/ terrace listening to the waves before heading down to swim in the crystal waters of a secluded beach (not private) was a dream. The outside space is well thought through, with a variety of comfortable and sheltered places to relax. The interior of the house is not fancy, but it has everything you need and is so clean. We cooked a lot and it was pretty well equipped. It’s a 20 min drive to Patitiri or there are local tavernas nearby. You definitely need a car.

Alexander’s property is really special. The garden is enchanting, the view of the bay is stunning, the little private beach is priceless and the terrace is a perfect spot for shady lunches and for enjoying the bats flitting about at dusk. The properties are indeed a little tired but this is a family-owned group of buildings, clearly loved and enjoyed and cared for. It feels like staying at one’s own Greek holiday home which is charming. Alexander and other family members who help manage the property were really helpful, friendly and responsive which we appreciated. They have sea kayaks and a giant paddle board which we were allowed to use so were able to access hard to reach beaches and explore a little lagoon not too far away. This is a busy island with a lot of public beaches; this holiday home offered a haven of peace and a quiet place to access the sea and sunbathe. There are sometimes people swimming past because the snorkelling is so good. We would happily return!

Put simply, a lovely characterful property in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the heart of town. Lots of space and a wonderful terrace for outside dining; in addition a decent sized pool, which is unusual for Skopelos, for a property so close to the centre of town. Also very handy if you intend to hire a car during your stay, since the house has private parking which is gated, so no worries about dents and dings in public car parks; everything is secure. We all loved our stay as it’s such a lovely space on such a beautiful island; we didn’t want to leave..!

We LOVED staying in Niki's beautiful and modern home. It was recently built (3 years ago), had an amazing pool, lots of relaxing areas to sit, and the view was impeccable! The location was wonderful for our family. Traditional fishing village 5 min drive away. Could run the road in the morning for a great workout. One of the most highly reviewed beaches is 3 minutes away. Very private and completely safe (the island is so safe!). Niki was so kind and helpful. Met us at the ferry so that we could follow her to the house. She came one afternoon so that we could do laundry and was always flexible on timing as our day plans got changed. Her recommendations were wonderful, and always seemed to do anything she could to make our holiday stress free. She left great honey and a greek drink for us to enjoy. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Despina was a fabulous host she gave us so much information regarding the island and where to go she helped us with restaurants, with the boat hire and she was there for our every need and nothing was too much trouble!! She text my husband most days to check we were happy and everything was ok! Which of course it was as the Villa was beautiful and peaceful. We loved the private beach which you could access from the garden down some steps which took about five minutes or so. We would definitely stay here again and we also loved Skiathos! Such a wonderful villa and perfect hosts who couldn’t be more helpful. David and Jacqueline went above and beyond and were genuinely wonderful. We have loved our stay at Villa Causton and would love to come again. We arrived and found the fridge stocked with welcome drinks for all, fresh fruit and tomatoes and the cupboards were well stocked with basic requirements which was such a lovely welcome. We were able to ask for recommendations for everything from restaurants to boat hire, and David even took us to the supermarket so we could stock up. The outdoor space has something for everyone, from the wonderful pool to the outdoor kitchen and chill out areas. The villa has been finished to such a high standard with beautiful furnishings and comfortable beds! Nearby is the beautiful beach, great for snorkelling and boat hire and there are plenty of wonderful restaurants near the villa. All in all, just magical. We didn’t want to leave.

Amazing! Near one of the nicest beaches in Alonnisos, great pool, well equipped kitchen and not far from anywhere. We had a perfect off season couple vacation and enjoyed staying at villa. Set in the middle of the olive grove, it was more than we expected. Thank you for a great stay☺️

Really lovely villa as previous reviews suggest. Much appreciated local snacks and wine on arrival. Very comfortable beds. The pool is great and is probably 180cm depth throughout so probably not suitable for non swimmers. Villa was cleaned midway through our 1 week stay which was great. Located two mins walk from two excellent restaurants, small shop and pleasant beach where boat hire is available. Agnontas is a great location with easy access to Skopelos town by car or bus and the beaches on the west coast. Overall would strongly recommend and would love to visit again.

Beautiful and family stay at Giannis' house. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. You have the option to relax on the meadow in front of the sea and jump directly into the sea. The neighborhood is very quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Argo-Orpheus villa. It has a lot of advantages, beauty, cleanness and quietness, which were mentioned in the house description and in the reviews of the previous guests. If in the future we want to spend a holiday in Platania-Pelion, Villa Argo is the first choice of our accommodation.

A great summer stay at Villa Mari, a simple sailor house well arranged, with a beautiful small garden and most importantly a wonderful terrace just on the seashore to enjoy as you wish the sunrise or the sunset! Enjoying such a lovely place, having a sea swim early in the morning or late in the evening is real luxury! Kapitan Vangelis and Maria, with the assistance of Sonia, are wonderful owners!! A real pleasure, and good memories for our family!

We spend two weeks in this beautiful spot in a quiet and authentic part of the island with views and walking distance to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. We enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the waves at night, going for a swim on foot in the morning and spending time on the balcony in the evening watching the stars. The apartment is clean, comfortable, well equipped, and very close to the other villages and beaches. Mrs. Soula is a great host and a very sweet lady who made sure with had everything we needed. Thank you!!! We will definitely come back to Milia!

The house was clean, spacious and fully equipped with everything needed. We had no problem during our stay, as it was exactly like the photos and description. Amazing garden around the house and a large balcony where we could chill after the beach, have some food and talk. Lots of available accessories as well, from snorkeling masks to beach towels and balls, something you don't always see in other AirBnb's. Eleni and Sifis were two very kind hearted and polite people, who were always on call for everything we needed. They welcomed us with nice food, wine and they even brought us fresh tomatoes. Overall, the house was just what we were looking for during our stay in Skiathos, the right place to have some rest, hang out with friends and then go out to discover the island. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

This was one of the best places I’ve ever been on Airbnb, it had everything we needed and more :) The host was lovely, she really made us feel like at home and provided us with plenty of water and a bottle of wine which we really appreciated :) The garden in which the bungalow is creates a quiet and shaded environment which is perfect for sleeping at night, you can barely hear the planes and the nearby restaurants (which was good as I have trouble sleeping with noises), and also coming back to the apartment with maya (the beagle) greeting us was lovely :)

Great family owned apartments, very clean, well equipped , just in front of the water. Good location, fair bus connection but if you have a car, everything is reached easily . Even staying at the location is great, basic watersports, few good taverns, and beach bar. Sun sets just in front of the beach. Recommended for families
