The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in on the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full employment and have four small children.

Olden is located in the heart of Nordfjord and is known for its beautiful and wild nature. With many offers and experiences within a short distance of the cabin, it is the perfect starting point for an eventful holiday. The cottage is well equipped and designed so that in the evening you can relax in front of the fireplace, or outside while enjoying the view and sunset.

A place you find peace and quiet and can enjoy your days without worries, here you can swim and enjoy yourselves in peace and quiet, the place is sheltered and without access. Should they rain, you can still sit dry under the roof and at the same time be outdoors. It is a small simple cabin with great outdoor opportunities. The cabin is surrounded by water and a river that goes down to the sea. There is also the convenience store and a hotel as well as a small gas station. You can use boat down the river to shop, or walk 5min.

Here they live in an old barn restored with love, in the middle of beautiful nature between steep mountains. The harness has been used by the farm people for several generations before we bought the farm. The bedroom has 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed.
