There is also forest nearby as well as Solrød Center with shops and cafes as well as a station with a fast train to Copenhagen. There is a bike route all the way into Copenhagen. Warm welcome to pleasant Ekeby, a smaller town located in northwest Skåne. Here, about 3,500 people live in mixed ages, mainly in villas but also in some apartments and farms. In the village, there is, among other things, a grocery shop, a petrol station, a kiosk with street food and a pizzeria. One of Sweden's largest privately owned furniture stores is also located here, along with a restaurant serving lunch, sandwiches and cakes. There is also a health centre here.

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.
