The place was very comfortable, and Colleen was a great host, making sure that we always knew what to expect and do during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped with the basics, however it doesn't have everything so be prepared to improvise as you cook! The amenities (dishwasher, laundry machine) were very handy.

We enjoyed our stay at this small quirky and well decorated home. It was peaceful and quiet with a very well appointed kitchen and the main bedroom had a comfortable mattress. It is located about 60 minutes from the main attractions in Acadia park (if there are no lines getting in) and 20 minutes to groceries and all other amenities so do keep that in mind if you want to visit the park every day (we went 3x). We struggled a bit with the mini split heating system and hot water which timed out very fast but it was ok since we weren't there in winter. The host was great when we had questions or needed anything. There is strong wifi is you need to work remotely. Note: there is a v steep staircase for those who may be mobility-impaired. Amazing location in quant and charming smalltown Maine! As close as it gets to Acadia without having to pay exorbitant lodging prices. Amenities were beautiful and the unit was well furnished and clean. Would highly recommend a stay here and may even come back again myself!

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this cabin! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed breathtaking views and even got lucky enough to see the northern lights while stargazing one night—truly magical! The cabin itself was pristine and cozy, with every detail thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee on the porch, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!
