Family-friendly holiday rentals in South India

- [ ] We don't know where to start because our stay was so enjoyable. After a night at the bundagalow.. we decided to stay one more night in the Harmony Bungalow. A timeless place, in the middle of nature where calm reigns. The staff is very attentive and showed us around. A big thank you to Jaya for her kindness and good humor! He answered any questions we had about planting and harvesting the fruits of the garden. Su dropped us off at the temple and booked our tuktuk:) - [ ] The added bonus is clearly the delicious food the dinner like breakfast! Served at any time and you can taste several dishes at the table! - [ ] In short, go for it, and if you need calm and rest, this place is for you!!

This was a very cosy warm place. He was really a good host. Host told me about many places in Sri Lanka. I got lots of information from him.some one received us from the hotel. He decorated our room for our anniversary beautifully.the Host does the extra mile if he has to. Very friendly and cordial. We simply loved this apartment and the neighbour hood. Peaceful safe neighbour good. And many things are nearby in walking distance. We will surely be back in the same apartment when we come to Sri Lanka. This apartment is highly recommendable especially if you are coming with family. Adere Lanka!

This was my first visit to Kerala with my family, and I was searching for a friendly place to stay. I turned to Airbnb and, after a few searches, discovered a beautiful river-facing apartment hosted by Amruth. I booked it right away and had a chat with Amruth, who was incredibly helpful in suggesting places to visit. His excellent local knowledge of restaurants and attractions was a huge help. The apartment itself is conveniently located in Aluva, just 20-25 minutes from Kochi airport. It’s spacious, clean, and set in a stunning environment overlooking the river—truly a home away from home. On top of that, Amruth’s friendly demeanor and trustworthy recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a safe and peaceful accommodation for family or friends. Thank you once again, Amruth!

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of exceptional! This 4-bedroom property is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience, offering everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. The Villa: The villa itself is stunning, with spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms, each designed for maximum comfort. The open living areas were ideal for spending quality time together, while still providing privacy when needed. The fully equipped kitchen was a dream for anyone who enjoys cooking or wants to prepare their own meals. The Pool: The pool was a highlight of the property! It was well-maintained, with crystal-clear water, and surrounded by a gorgeous patio area perfect for lounging and soaking up the sun. Whether it was a morning swim or an evening dip, it added so much to our experience. Service: The full-time caretaker and property manager were outstanding. The caretaker ensured the villa was spotless and attended to our needs promptly and graciously.

I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. The hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive. Allowed a late check out without any hassle. The garden is lovely and a peaceful spot to hang out in. Really nice.

Well when we as a group of old friends decided to meet for a reunion and were looking for a place to spend an entire day reliving byogone days, we ended up our search at this place just an hour away from city. What a place! That was our reaction as soon as we entered the premises. The structures within the area are tastefully designed and placed giving prominence to the greenery. We were welcomed by Sandeep: our host and gave a brief about what we would be in for. He was warm and suave and we connected instantly. We had the entire property to ourselves and we indulged in playing Futsal in the lawn area, reminiscing and having lots of banters. We were assisted by 2 caretakers who are always present to tend to your needs at any point in time. The food was top notch and we also had some BBQ during night time along with great music and projector in the lounge area. Although we didn't use the swimming pool and thus missing out, it was clean and was designed perfectly with artificial water f

What a lovely stay in the tranquil canals of the backwaters. While different from many other air bnb's we've stayed in (there is no private kitchen, for example), Praveen and his family's upstairs space is a nest of comfort! With two large rooms, each with separate bathroom, and a large common area, it is a half in and half out living space with a beautiful vista over the canal. Papa is an unbelievably generous and skilled cook, who delighted our tastebuds with "Kerela specials" and made our kids favorite requests (coconut pancakes!). He even made us some lemon and mango pickle for the road! Praveen's mother is a sweet kind presence, too. And not enough good words can be said about Praveen as host. Willing and generous with time, his network of connections allowed us to experience and enjoy all that this region has to offer...from kayaking to sunrise boating to errands in Allapy city--Praveen helped with every one of these with grace and humor. Thank you all!!

Best location, easy access to groceries, resturants, big park, and shopping areas. Being secluded from main road traffic, provides quiet place to relax. Sorounded by trees, get to hear chirping sounds of many bird species. Owner was very helpful, gave a lot information about nearby amenities, things that were not available from web search or AI bots.

We visited the property for a weekend along with parents. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Its right by the river bank so the view from the property is very beautiful. The rooms were very clean, well maintained and special mention for the housekeeping staff who were so sweet,kind and always ready to assist. The host was also helpful and always available on chat. Food was very tasty and portions were generous. Although the main villa was bit of an older property but it is well maintained. Special mention for the Glass house which has a stunning view of the river. Overall, we had a peaceful and refreshing stay here & will definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Staying at Ajay Uncle’s place was a wonderful experience. The homestay was clean, well-organized, and hosted by a responsive and friendly team. It truly felt like a home away from home, with thoughtful design and excellent management. It’s an ideal spot for both friends and family. Sujata Aunty, the cook, prepared delicious Maharashtrian meals that we thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone made us feel so welcome. One of the highlights of the stay was a long, engaging conversation with Ajay Uncle—it’s something you definitely shouldn’t miss. He’s such a fascinating person. Overall, I loved the stay, the people, and the area!

They were always available to help, kept the house spotless, and made sure we felt right at home. The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and perfect for a group of friends. "Staying at Parmar's place was a true delight! The apartment was sparkling clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and Parmar was so helpful with local recommendations. They were always quick to respond to our messages and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We can't wait to come back!" The property was cozy, well-stocked, Pool was really big and awesome and had the perfect layout for spending time with friends and family.

I recently stayed at a this beautiful bungalow in Lonavala with my friends, and it was an amazing experience. The interiors were well-designed and soothing, creating a warm and relaxing ambiance throughout our stay. The swimming pool was well-maintained, making it perfect for both fun and relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed, adding convenience to our stay, while the kids/gaming zone kept everyone entertained, ensuring fun for all age groups A special mention to the lovely caretakers who were extremely polite, attentive, and made us feel at home. Their hospitality truly elevated our experience. This bungalow is an ideal getaway spot for anyone looking to unwind in comfort and style. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay. I've stayed at this place two times, both times it was super fun. The host and the maintenance lady Brenda was also super helpful. Just one small thing, I wish they had supplied soap, shower and some other toiletries.
