Cretan Traditional Stone House of 1850 in the Nature and Flora of Chania

The house is located in a small traditional village which consists of two neighborhoods built on two elongated hills and separated by a ravine. At the bottom of the ravine is a very old stone fountain with trees. The houses are masterfully built of stone on the successive levels of the two hills thus providing a beautiful traditional settlement. The view to the opposite villages are impressive. The flora is especially rich in herbs and medicinal herbs such as oregano, thyme and labdanum.

Chandax luxury villa

Chandax was fully renovated in 2019 in collaboration with the Archaeological Agency of Heraklion to offer a sense of luxury and comfort to distinguished guests. It is one of the few remaining neoclassical buildings in the city center and is listed as a monument by the ministry of culture.
