Holiday rentals with lake access in Springfield

The entire area is absolutely beautiful. The patio and living room areas were amazing for board games and cards. We were always happy to come back to the place at the end of our festivities.

My sons and I had a great stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. Parking was easy even though we had three vehicles and a trailer. We had a great stay and are Looking forward to going back again.

LJs place was exactly what we were looking for! We did some ice fishing which was better than anticipated. The house was clean and cozy. The rules were reasonable and LJ communicated timely. We will absolutely be back!

This property was fantastic. The lake is beautiful, the kayaks and canoe offered by Vincent were in great condition and easy to use to explore the lake. And the house is well decorated, comfortable, and fits a large group easily. I would highly recommend a stay. Vincent is a great communicator and made the whole process easy — zero hassle whatsoever along the way.

The house was amazing, just like the photos! Had plenty of room for the two of us along with our Daughter and our two Grandchildren. The girls enjoyed the hot tub, and swimming in the lake! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rent for their vacation! My only wish was it was on the water! I love looking out the window to see the water!

Kyle was the best host ever!!! he let us re-book another one of his properties smoothly when we found we had more people wanting to come on the trip than we originally thought. The place was even better than we thought and we all had so much fun. Definitely recommend booking with Kyle 100% and we will try to book with him in the future if we can.

It was a perfect place for 2. The home was beautiful inside and out. The property was well maintained and attractive. The setting was stunning. Having kayaks available was a bonus. Inside, nothing was missed. Communication was clear and simple; they offered good suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Would definitely return!

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting our child at Colgate University. Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts live next door and were very accommodating. The home was beautifully decorated and well appointed with cool fixtures and the most comfortable couch. They provided ground coffee, which was delicious, and the beds had great mattresses. The water pressure in the shower was not as strong as we like but everything else was perfect. The location was peaceful with beautiful views over the lake. The house is remote, but was easy to find. Can't wait to come back.

We stayed at Alexandra's place for a few nights . The apartment is cozy and welcoming, very clean, with great art on the walls and good books on the shelves. Alexandra was very responsive and nice - she lent us her snowshoes, told us to park in her garage during the snowstorm to avoid being snowed in , offered good suggestions for local places to eat.

Tracy was a great host and very communicative! If we are ever in the area again we’d love to book with her again.

Bernie was a great host. He met us to greet us and check us in and show us around the place because it is a little unique. The house is wonderful and oozes with history. There are a couple things about the set up of the unit to be aware of. The kitchen is completely enclosed within the house so there are no windows and no way to exhaust fumes - just be aware of this so you do not unwittingly set off the smoke alarm and disturb the neighbors in adjacent units. Also, the door to the bathroom, which is between the two bedrooms within the cottage unit doesn't lock, so you will need to come up with a system to alert your travel partners when someone is using the bathroom to avoid walking in on each other. Other than those two points for awareness, though, everything else is great. The bedrooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, the linens are pristine, the kitchen has everything you need, and the house is right by Otsego Lake and only a block from Main St. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent rental and great communications with Stephanie. We loved the back yard, docks, kayaks and fantastic views. Easy walk to some of the restaurants and beach area. Would certainly rent again and hope to return to Sylvan Beach during the summer months when more is open. Thank you :)

We had a wonderful stay on Gemma’s property and felt right at home. The kids loved feeding the farm animals — a total highlight!! Gemma generously provided us with an array of breakfast items, which really made for lovely mornings. We would absolutely return!

I stayed here with my two sons 7yo and 4yo and we had a blast. We didn't get to take advantage of the lake activities because it unfortunately snowed (in April) so we switched gears and just enjoyed cozy indoor time within this tiny gem of a home with it's fireplace, a few movies on the large TV, some time in the hot tub and ran around in the huge yard. Just what my kids needed to get away from NYC. Kitchen is small and definitely requires some pre-planning... Luckily I accounted for the mini fridge space and brought lots of nonperishable foods (but Dariusz did mention earlier in the day that we should stop at a grocery store to avoid any surprises as well) Used their grill and kitchen and even made a quick firepit s'mores activity with the kiddos. Overall a memorable few days with my two sons and I hope to come back here on the next DAdventure we have.

The place was awesome. We really loved the feel of the house. The view of the lake was wonderful. Everything is the house was exactly as described in the listing. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great stay for my friend’s birthdays. Rick and Jenn were so responsive and even got someone to plow the drive way for us during the snow. It was cozy and welcoming and we will definitely be back in the summer!

We just spent 3 wonderful nights at Lisa’s house. The view was absolutely amazing! Everything was great. Very helpful when we asked questions and was very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get back to work. Would definitely rent this house again

Lovely home on the lake. Spent a lot of time fishing and grilling on the deck. Well stocked house just bring your own firewood!

Johnathan was extremely responsive and had very detailed clear instructions for everything. He checked in during our stay to make sure we were settled in. We were looking for a quiet comfortable place to relax and recharge and it was perfect for that. We especially enjoyed watching the ducks and geese swimming. The gas fireplace was so easy to use and cozy! There was a big snow storm forecasted during our stay and I was panicking a little bit about getting stuck and losing power, but Johnathan put my mind at ease and we didn't get snowed in or lose power and the snow on the lake was just beautiful.
