The Harz Mountains are the perfect vacation spot for young and old, because you can spend your time in so many different ways: hiking, mountain biking, skiing/cross-country skiing, countless outdoor pools/lakes, wellness and sauna, many sights such as museums, castles and half-timbered houses or simply stroll through the many beautiful historic old towns - Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg - to drink a coffee and shop.

The apartment is located on the first floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

The minimalist decor with subtle colors, lots of natural light and warm wood accents creates a quiet atmosphere to unwind.

My "little hut" is located in the beautiful village of Stapelburg in the Harz Mountains between Wernigerode and Bad Harzburg/Goslar. Last year, a real gem with a lot of love for detail emerged from a "junk shed." My place is on a quiet side street, and parking is available right in front of the house. The "Schüppchen" is hidden behind my house and is accessible via a comfortable external staircase.
