You’ll love the coziness, trees, comfy beds, views, and of course the legendary outdoor clawfoot bathtub. Sitting atop the west side of Herron Island, our cozy home makes for the perfect getaway. Sip your morning coffee on the deck, marvel at the eagles overhead, and maybe even spot a whale, all while enjoying the serenity of Puget Sound. In the evening take in a stunning sunset, cozy-up to a crackling fire and be treated to an ideal spot for star gazing. From beach combing and kayaking to pickleball and fishing, the island offers something for everyone. Located just 45 minutes southwest of Tacoma.

This place is truly a special experience. Just check out all our reviews. Many love to connect with the friendly farm animals. The BNB is very comfortable & private. The exceptional Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. Tools and materials are kept out of sight, but you may notice some unfinished details. Due to continued progress, appearance may vary.

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. Right on the water with use of kayaks, paddle boards, & canoe. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs - $50 each.

Come and enjoy our beautiful country home! The fresh air, forest, and slow pace will help you to relax. You will be lulled to sleep by the croaking frogs and awakened to the song of birds. You will have the entire ground floor of our 3 story home with your own private entrance, facing the ponds and forest. Spencer Lake, Phillips Lake, and Harstine Island boat launches are all within 10 minutes. We have 2 large ponds and a year round creek for you to meander and explore.
