Holiday rentals with lake access in Stoney Creek, Hamilton

We selected Alissa’s place in preference of another Airbnb which was in the close proximity and we made the right decision. This house may not be on the shore like the other but it’s literally 5 mins walk to sunset beach which is very nice indeed. Also there is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area just around the corner. Lots of walks to go on from the house and we explored them all. The house is exactly as described and in great condition, all the beds were comfy and the showers are great. Easy to get access with the app controlled front door and a very quiet neighborhood. Overall, very highly recommend Alissa’s place.

Place was awesome and pictures are accurate. Place was clean and well decorated. My wife and mother loved it, says a lot. Will definitely be back. Quick and responsive host. Book the stay, you won’t regret it.

We were in town for my uncles funeral. My cousin told us to stay at a hotel, but with 2 men and 1 woman, it would have been like being in a tin can. Not only were we in a peaceful and lovely area, we had everything - privacy and peace of mind. We had space to be in different places but in the same place. This gave my dad peace of mind, and my brother the ability to stay up at watch tv or games into the night. I was able to work in peace and we had 2 bathrooms! Such a wonderful stay that there are too few words.

My brother and I had an amazing stay at Alice’s place. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home. The unit was spacious, clean, and exactly as described, with plenty of room to relax. The breathtaking lake view was a highlight—we loved waking up to it every morning! Another fun bonus was the ping pong table, which we really enjoyed during our downtime. Alice’s hospitality went above and beyond, and we truly appreciated her warmth and generosity throughout our stay. If you're looking for a great place with a wonderful host, this is it. We had visitors from the US and decided to book a place where we can accommodate them for their stay and glad we found Marsha’s place! We were all surprised to see how spacious it is compared to the photos. The interior is very neat and homey. Definitely recommend this place for a larger group! Marsha was very responsive when we have questions about the place. Will consider coming back here for the next gathering.

We road tripped from the States and felt right at home. It was perfect place for the children and I to come back after sightseeing. Lots of food options nearby and an easy drive into Toronto. The backyard and tvs were great for the kids after a long day.

Wonderful, quirky place full of art with fantastic lake views. Eric was super friendly and responsive and gave us a great recommendation for breakfast!

Great place for a get away stay

My stay here was amazing. Everything was exactually as described. From a fully equipped kitchen, to the close proximity to the train station. My children loved the video games and the board games. I found the guidebook in the home to be especially helpful. The on-Street parking was close to the home and was free. The house rules and checking out instructions were both clear and reasonable. Simon had excellent communication, and proactively sent several messages both before the rental and while we were there to ensure everything went smoothly. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Really amazing view and building in a great location with easy access to GO trains and TTC. Building facilities are great! Check out is 10am

Christy’s place was extremely peaceful and we loved the neighborhood. Definitely would recommend to anybody who is looking for a place to truly relax.

Nice basement apartment. Clean. Well-stocked with whatever you need to be comfortable during your stay. It’s got massage recliners too!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay! The space was perfect for our family — clean, spacious, and exactly as described. Our kids loved it, and everything we needed was right there. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to families traveling with children!

Tasha was amazing and extremely responsive. Anytime there were any small issues she was on top of it right away. She always gave us suggestions to ensure that we were having a good time and using all the tools she had. The location did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning waterfront. I highly recommend this property as a great vacation spot. Another note Tasha had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and on the property. Five stars!!

Jordan and Lincoln are true gems in Ontario - the wine country in this area is authentic and less busy. It’s perfect. This location is beautiful, relaxing, and so well appointed. It’s brilliant.

This was a great stay and a great host. Beautiful property, great view, great pool, and the hot tub was very nice. Awesome place to get away in Canada or from the United States as it’s a short drive from Buffalo. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a nice house with a view. We will be going back next year!

We spent our days in the busy city and needed a quiet, peaceful place to unwind each evening. This was exactly what we needed - and our gracious host patiently addressed all of our concerns, and answered all of our questions. My wife and I especially enjoyed sitting by the private pond and watching the geese.

Great stay, lovely location, and place felt bigger than it was.

For my family (wife and two dogs), this was a great place to stay. The views are outstanding… lake on one side, vineyard on the other side. Didn’t realize that another cottage would be so close to us, but it really didn’t bother us at all. Dogs loved the secluded area to run around. Took full advantage of the fire pit. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was great. The interior of the cottage is certainly a bit dated but we didn’t spend that much time inside cooking or anything. At least at this time of year (early fall), the bugs on the property are kinda insane either because of the grapes or the lake or both. Constant swarms of little midges or something outside. Spiders are working overtime to catch them all, so even if the owner is power washing outside furniture, windows, screens daily…. My guess is that the bug and cobwebs would be back in no time. It can be a little discerning but it’s not the owner’s fault. Just something to be aware of. Great location. Unbeatable views.
