Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Strahan

We enjoyed our 2 nights at Echo Beach house, plenty of room for 5 of us, comfy beds, hot showers, location was quiet, short drive into town, would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Matt's place is modern, clean, short drive to town centre and walking distance across the road to local convenience store

We loved our stay here, the house was very clean and very spacious. All the rooms were great and the kids loved the bunk room. It had everything you could want. Amanda sent us all the info for the house aswell as places to eat and things to do while we were in Strahan prior to us arriving. We would stay here again.

Belinda's Station House is a perfect house for the family. The linen on the beds was high quality and super cosy. The house had such a lovely charm. I loved that we had Tracks cafe and Regatta Point Tavern in walking distance. Tracks does amazing burgers and pancakes!! Belinda was super lovely from theomeny we booked and was a wealth on information on things to do in both Strahan and Queenstown. Thankyou so much for sharing your house, and for sharing the story of your purchase of the house. I'm so glad you have spent the time to restore this little history gem.

Fantastic house with everything you could need and more, including a fire pit with wood and plenty of board games. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a lovely quiet location. Even came with complementary sheep grazing in the paddock across the road.

A cosy little place. Two big bedrooms with double (queen?) beds in each that were really comfortable. Darker decor which seems to suit the place really well. Modern renovations inside. Heat pump and wood fire kept us warm.

The house was very roomy and also very comfortable. It was somewhat quirky with lots of different rooms - would love to know the history of the house and how it came to be as it is

The CRAYS accomms were perfect for us. We only had one night in Strahan but Mick had excellent suggestions for us that helped us out on our trip. The unit was spotlessly clean and spacious, great space for a family of 4 to settle in. The kitchen was well equipped and this would be a great place to stay for a week. The location was a short 7 minute walk to town and just 200m to Howarth Falls which was a beautiful rainforest walk. We would recommend this place as a very comfortable accommodation and great value for money. Thankyou.

Easy lovely spot. Great communication

Mick and Prue’s air B&B is everything you would want from a stay. Lovely hosts, couldn’t have been nicer and more friendly on check in. Clearly sign posted and easy to find. Gorgeous interior, comfy bed and fully kitted kitchen. So close to gorgeous views in Strahan, restaurants and the river cruise. Cannot recommend enough. Clearly people who are made to host! Only wish I had stayed longer!

This was a lovely accommodation with stunning views and beautiful surroundings. It was close to all experiences and restaurants. Watching the sun go down and waking up with a view was relaxing and a beautiful experience. We even saw dolphins in the harbour just outside the window. Thank you Andrea, we will return for longer next time.

The Wheelhouse Apartment is located in a stunning spot overlooking the water. The apartment is unique in its design yet well appointed and homely. Peaceful and relaxing. The only addition would be a heater for the upstairs bathroom for those of us who feel the cold. We had a fantastic stay and would love to come again.

We had a lovely stay here. Mick & Prue were very friendly & gave us recommendations for things to see & where to eat. Our cabin was very clean, & great location. Easy walking to cafe’s & waterfront.

Nice little place which was great for what I needed. Right in town and close to local shops.
