Lake house holiday rentals in Sturgeon Lake

We rented Therese's place for an annual cousin get together (13 of us) and it was wonderful having our own bedrooms & SO much space to relax. It was great having the downstairs with the pool table & where the younger cousins slept. The kitchen was massive, with everything we needed. Two refrigerators were a lifesaver. And the fire pit was fantastic! 4 of our cousins flew from Arizona and had never experienced Fall, and they were treated to peak Fall colors and loved hanging out on the dock, enjoying the sunsets every night. The beds were really comfortable, which was great! Our group said they would definitely want to go back here but extend our stay because it was THAT amazing!

Great place to spend our annual Thanksgiving/hunting trip. Cabin was beautiful and cozy! I would stay again and highly recommend!

We had the most magical stay at this home! The house itself was absolutely stunning—beautifully decorated, cozy, and everything we could have hoped for to make our holiday perfect. The hosts went above and beyond to make it feel like Christmas. They even left personalized stockings for our kids filled with thoughtful little gifts, which absolutely delighted them! It was such a heartwarming and unexpected touch that made our stay truly special. Thank you for helping us create unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to come back!

This house was wonderful! Everything was just as described in the listing. We needed a house that could easily accomodate our family and this home met all our needs. Our daughter got married at Pinewood so we stayed 4 nights and really felt at home. It was wonderful to have four bathrooms! The family room/dining/kitchen area is especially lovely with its big stone fireplace and huge windows that look out on the lake. The kitchen was fully stocked with dinnerware and pretty much everything we needed. This would be a great rental for family or extended family during the summer with its large back deck and access to the lake right behind the house. The drive into Cambridge isn't too bad...probably 10-15 min. from the house. We got groceries at Walmart there and there is also Target. Food at the Leader restaurant is fabulous. The house is well stocked with games and movies and there is a TV on both levels and family rooms on both levels! We couldn't have picked a better place.

This spot was wonderful! Close to a short trail and pretty views. Cool history which was described in a binder in the home. Private but easy to get to fun spots. Would love to stay again when we have more time to explore!

This is our second stay at this property and we love it! It’s quaint and cozy and so reasonably priced! Cameron is SO easy to work with and extremely accommodating! We’ll definitely be back!

Our stay was wonderful! It was a men’s weekend for fishing, grilling and time with God. Home was clean, filled with amenities we needed, close to the water and provided a peaceful place for the weekend! Definitely would recommend to others! Monea was always responsive and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay! 5 stars, hands down!

The home is absolutely beautiful and the view is breathtaking! It is as the perfect place for a birthday get together and for Easter dinner with our family. We discovered our new favorite restaurant Strongman BBQ!! It was super close and the food was amazing! We will definitely book this house again!

Absolutely loved our fall getaway at the cottage! Beautiful park and boardwalk paths to walk the dog around. We rented the pontoon and other toys to enjoy boat rides, fishing, and canoe trips to the island. And loved having fires by the lake at night, Was the perfect spot for a weekend away with the family before winter arrives!

This place was perfect for our family. From the floor plan to the room privacy, to the ability to have our dogs with us. They really thought of everything for their guests. There's extra seasonings, smore goodies(the sticks2), coffee machine plus a Keurig with pod, extra TP, and ceiling fans! The appliances look brand new, all easy to work. I thought the decor was perfect as well, such lovely little touches. We loved the rustic but sturdy table. The beds were comfy, there's extra pillows and clean bed linen. We slept great. It really was a home away from home. The only minor cons were: the traffic on the scenic road was busy, busy. But they don't have control of that. And the water pressure was lower in the shower. We made it work. We still got clean. Honestly with all the pros on this place, the cons are nothing. We absolutely appreciated and enjoyed ourselves in this home. The sunrise from the deck was beautiful! A great memory to have with my daughter.

We enjoyed our stay at the Izaty's. We stayed in March before the season opens for the summer guests and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the king size beds. We had a little difficult time finding places to eat since some restaurants were closed for the season. The kitchen did have cookware and appliances, etc., so we could have easily made a meal if we didn't go out to eat. Ellie and Brian did respond quickly before and during our stay. We definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful view, quiet, and house is sooo cute!

Such a relaxing, peaceful cabin getaway! The hot tub had so much room for multiple people, had interchangeable lights, and we for sure spent a lot of time in it. Both units were very clean and had so much kitchen space, which was great because we did a lot of cooking. The lake itself is beautiful and I loved how the place is more secluded. Bob the caretaker was very friendly and made us feel at home :)

Great spot for a group of guys, family, you name it. Played some pool, sat in the sauna, played poker by the fireplace. Pretty much shares a driveway with Mac’s Twin Bay so we could hop on and off the ice easily. Johnson’s is right down the road for anything you need. Sweet cabin.

The space was perfect! Very clean and the set up was amazing! Very spacious - the huge kitchen area worked perfectly for cleaning fish while still having room to start dinner. The view was beautiful! Look forward to making this our annual “Valentines” ice fishing vacation!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! Our group of three couples (six adults) found the accommodation to be perfect for our needs. The space was incredibly clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the common areas were great for socializing, playing board games and relaxing together. The pool table was a great bonus. The 2 fireplaces were nice for the cold WI winter evenings. The host was very responsive and provided all the information we needed in advance of our stay. A beautiful place for a WI get-a-way with many local fun restaurants and bars. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Five stars from all the guests. Looking forward to booking again for a summer fun get-a-way where we can experience the full beauty of the lake! (when not frozen)

Quiet spot on beautiful and scenic Mille Lacs. I loved the views of the lake and sunsets. A dock would have been nice but the kayaks were a nice surprise.

Such an adorable little cabin. We had a great time fishing and having bonfires. My 9 year old caught his first huge catfish off the dock the first night and during the day, we caught smallmouth. Very clean and cozy tiny cabin with everything we needed for some relaxation and fishing. The book selection at the cabin was unexpectedly perfect and such a cool perk. I wish I could’ve read all of them. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We hope to visit again.

This was a perfect set up for our three families to join together and visit family up in Duluth. There was plenty of space for a group of people to hang out, but also room to retreat to other areas. They had plenty of dishes and things to use in the kitchen so when we were cooking, we had enough stuff. The only thing we wished was a little different where there were room darkening blinds in the room downstairs as those guests had trouble sleeping because of the lights of the bar. We would definitely stay at this place again! I bet in the summer is absolutely beautiful!
