Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Suja

I was visiting Bir, in December 2022 to start my paragliding course. I must say that I made a really good choice to stay at Amrita's place. After a long day of paragliding training, this place absolutely felt like home for me and my friends. Peaceful, right weather, privacy, amenities, all my requirements were fulfilled personally. Has a vintage vibe to the house as our host told us that the place is about 103 years, very well-kept, and maintained. The kitchen and the rest of the place were very clean as well. I have already started recommending it to my friends. Also, not to forget about mentioning the top floor bathroom which is Huge and gives a view of the Billing Valley. 3-5 minutes away from the market to get all the necessary groceries and vegetables. Huge and well-functional kitchen to cook in as well. Plus Jimmy the dog made our experience playful. Thank you, Amrita for such an amazing stay and experience.

It has been one of the best stays in which we stayed. Every is so so amazing. It is closed to the landing site. All the cafes and restaurants are nearby. The host is very responsive and communicates well. The house is so beautifully built. The interiors are unique and very chic. They have a beautiful common area which is the best hangout place in the entire home to chill out with your group. Me and family had great fun playing ludo which was available at the house. They also have a good collection of book which you can enjoy reading. I clicked beautiful pictures in different corners of the house. The vibe of the house is great. Beautiful energy.

I had an amazing stay at Stargazer Chalet.The property is a hidden gem, tucked away in a peaceful location with a stream just at the back. We also took a short 5-10 minute walk to the stream, which was a lovely experience. Kartik was an excellent host, offering great recommendations for nearby restaurants, all of which were delicious. The vibe of the place is fantastic – the lawn area is beautifully maintained with lush greenery all around, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. There’s also the added bonus of outdoor games like badminton and cricket, which were a lot of fun. Overall, Stargazer Chalet is a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind in nature. Kartik’s hospitality and the peaceful setting made it a memorable stay. Highly recommend!

I can’t believe that this place was so much more than you can see on Airbnb. Words and pictures can’t describe the beauty and serenity of this home. Taking a shower in the first floor bathroom was like being in a warm spa. That shower is basically a sun room and my husband and I couldn’t have been in more love with it. The host is the nicest person and is so open to sharing numbers and info for local restaurants and activities. The nursery next to the home is filled with plants and succulents that you won’t find at that roadside stand near your house so definitely take back a few plants if you can. This house is a whimsical fairytale so definitely set aside some time from your trip to enjoy this property as well.

It was a lovely 3 day stay @ Kunal’s place. It’s a new listing. While we encountered some issue’s drag adding cleanliness, but host was always phone call / message away to resolve. Understandable that at hilly areas life is not as in cities but Kunal was ever responsive and through our stay tried his best to help / support us wherever he could. We will be back soon and it was a pleasant stay. Then listing is as described on Airbnb and amenities mentioned are present.

We were looking for a place away from busy Dharamsala that we could use as a base to explore the area and Ajit’s home fitted the bill perfectly. Located in Naddi, it is about 500m above Dharamsala and cooler. Accessing Dharamsala and McLeodganj was a breeze - if you have your own vehicle then no problem, else there are autos and taxis that ply from Dal Lake, which is an attraction close to Naddi.  The home itself is very nice. Very clean and neat and very thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction stove, gas, refrigerator, water filter, utility vessels and some common grocery items needed for cooking. The view from the unit is amazing - it looks out onto some village homes in the distance on top of a hill with terraced fields in between and the show capped Dhauladhar peaks in the horizon. The unit is located in the second floor - accessed by 2 flights of stairs. So, if you have seniors in your contingent or someone with mobility issues, it is something to watch out for.  Ajit’s family - himself, wife and 2 young boys were amazing and most helpful with some our specific needs. Since Ajit has grown up in the Naddi area, he knows the place inside out and is happy to guide and help out.  Connectivity was one of the best we have had in Himachal - Vodafone works great and so does Jio. All in all - great value for money for your stay in the Dharamsala area - we would come back to stay - for the place, for the view, for the convenience and of course, Ajit and family - amazing folks! 

Kunal's Wildflower felt like home from day one. located in a peaceful corner of Upper Bhagsu, it was conveniently close to essential shops. The spacious and thoughtfully designed apartment featured a cozy wood stove for heating, adding to the charm. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and perfect for a long stay. Kunal was always available to help ensuring a smooth stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with easy access to triund and mcleodganj.

The rooms are amazing the views are mind blowing views the caretaker gokul is very sweet helpful and overall it’s a wonderful stay. The only problem is there were random people walking in the property and there was no fencing. It was invading our privacy and people were thinking it’s a kitchen or something and they were coming to the steps of the property.

It is a very beautiful place to stay with very peaceful neighbourhood with mesmerising views from room as seen in the pictures. The property is very well maintained and meant for someone who is looking to live at a peaceful space and surrounding instead of super commercialised area of manali Shoutout to the host utkarsh for being super responsive even at very early hour of the day and helping us with local recommendations and contacts which made our trip easy to plan. I myself is a host and after staying at this property i will definitely recommend this to everyone as he met all the standards that are needed for a memorable and peaceful stay, i will definitely comeback to stay here again!

I really liked the location of this place. It's 20 kms before main Manali market etc so if you're goal is to see Manali then this might be a bit far unless you have your own car. We weren't really interested in Mall road and our main goal was to drive to Atal tunnel and Keylong the next morning. So for a night's stay it was perfect. Surrounded by lots of green I liked the quiet ambience here. I am not sure how the other rooms were but we booked a villa that had a hall and 1 bedroom downstairs and 1 on the first floor. Both rooms had attached bathrooms. The campus also had some random swings that gave us 5 mins of adventure lol. Food taste was decent (some may not like it but if you're not a food drama queen you'll survive) P.S. For those worried by the word "Satvika" in the name - they do have non veg food :)

Great stay with family and kids; very helpful staff; lots of friendly pet dogs; apple orchard next door where we found 2 white donkeys every day coming for night stay; provision for campfire, lots of sunlight coming in; persimmon tree laden with fruits; pine trees in the complex and kids collected lots of cones; functional kitchen; and everything inside was great - bathrooms, bedrooms, all good! great experience overall

Our family had a fantastic stay at Mosum Retreat in Manali! The property was clean, well-maintained, and provided a peaceful escape from the city. The hosts were warm and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, cozy, and offered breathtaking views of the mountains. Though the location is a bit off the beaten path, once you settle in, it feels surreal – truly a perfect getaway. We loved cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen, making home-cooked meals while enjoying the serene surroundings. There were also indoor games like chess, snakes and ladders, Jenga puzzles that kept us all entertained and provided quality family time. The outdoor spaces were great for the kids to explore. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend Mosum Retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay in Manali. Can’t wait to return!

A Home Away from Home! If you’re looking for a peaceful, cozy, and heartwarming stay in the mountains, look no further than Seema Aunty and Subhash Ji’s beautiful Airbnb. The wooden cabin itself is a dream—warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed with comfortable heated mattresses. Every meal was home-cooked, ultra-delicious, and bursting with flavor. It was pure comfort food, made with love. On our last day, Seema Aunty herself made us the most amazing aloo parathas, which were hands down the best we’ve ever had. Seema Aunty is one of the warmest, kindest hosts you’ll ever meet. She made sure we were comfortable at all times and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. One thing to keep in mind—reaching the property requires climbing around 3-4 floors worth of stairs, so if you’re traveling with elderly family members, do consider this. Thank you, Seema Aunty and Subhash ji for a wonderful stay!!

this beautiful cottage has one of the best locations in himachal. far from the naggar city, yet close enough so that you can go for a day trip to the naggar or manali city. fantastic food. The attic space is out of the world. great for small groups and workation. would love to come back again

Great property and location. Amazing host. Not a very commercial location, which is what I was looking for. I'll definitely be visiting this property again. Pros - The stay was amazing with an incredible view from the balcony. - The host (Teshu) was very welcoming and always proactive. He also introduced us to his family and showed us around his village - Went with us on small treks - The homemade walnut chutney was exceptional - The homemade food was good Kind of cons - The roads are not very wide yet since a lot of tourists don't visit. But it's manageable by car. - Not for people looking for properties with cafes and restaurants nearby.

We were a group of 3 and had a great stay here. The place is cozy, just as shown in the pictures, and tucked away in a peaceful location. The place is surrounded by lush greenery. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout. The caretaker Indrajit bhaiya is very polite and helpful throughout and helped us to bring our luggage to main road. Would definitely recommend for a calm getaway.

Our stay at North was truly special. The cabin we stayed in was built with love and felt like a museum in itself, showcasing traditional craftsmanship and a deep connection to the local culture. The hospitality was exceptional, and we were welcomed with warmth. The food was simple and authentic giving us a true taste of Himachali flavors. A perfect place for those looking to experience nature, culture, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended!
