We were a little unsure about the chalet at first, but it turned out to be pure magic. Yes, there’s a bit of a trek to get there—but trust me, it’s totally worth it. Our stay was the highlight of our travels through Himachal Pradesh. This is a hidden gem in the mountains. It takes a little while to hike up, about 1 hour for able bodied persons, but it is so worth it. The place is totally secluded high on the mountain, so beautiful, peaceful, and has a world class view. Om Prakash ji and Asha ji were wonderful and very attentive hosts. They cooked for us on our last night there and it was delicious. Om Prakash took us to the summit of Labhri top. He spent the whole day hiking with us and packed us a lunch of parathas and chai. It cost extra (1,500 Rs), but highly recommend it for those who like hiking and lead an active lifestyle. Pretty strenuous hike at times, but the view from the top makes it all worth it. The journey is quite beautiful too. All in all the place, our hosts - Om Prakash and Asha, and our time there was completely charming. We really hope to return soon.
