I was very satisfied with the accommodation it was in a quiet part of town and a few minutes walk from the main square. The apartman was modern and beautifully decorated. The host was very kind. Definitely if I have a trip to Banska Bystrica again, I will go back there.

This is a lovely accommodation which is well situated to view the mountains and comes with any amenity one could need. The town centre is only about a 15 minute walk and a variety of gyms are within a 30 minute one (if that is your cup of tea). One thing, the upstairs neighbours are noisy, but if you’re a keen sleeper it shouldn’t be an issue. Even so, this is a lovely place to stay.

Great accommodation, everything you need for cooking. For hiking and skiing everything is within walking distance and you save yourself high parking fees. The nearest large market is a 20-minute drive away so you need some planning, but the atmosphere in the mountains is all the more beautiful. We'd love to come back!

Wonderful weekend with friends. Cozy house, with plenty of space for our group to spread out. Beautiful location, off the beaten path, which really made it special. The surrounding trails were almost empty. The small village of Stratena was peaceful and quiet, we felt really comfortable and at home. Host was very fast to respond to questions. I recommend.

We had a wonderful trip to Donovaly, especially because of this beautiful airbnb. The spaciousness, cleanliness, and style of the place exceeded our expectations! Very comfortable for two small families. We cooked and ate in every night--great kitchen. If the ski area has full snow and all the lifts are operating, it really is ski-in, ski-out. We had to drive over to ski, because all the lifts weren't going (end of season + climate change), but that was no problem at all. All in all, we loved this bright, sunny and spatious apartment!

Definitely worth recommending. The cottage is beautifully finished, clean, and well-equipped. It is surrounded by beautiful views, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Most of the surrounding attractions are relatively close by. The hosts were helpful and responsive to our inquiries and needs. I can recommend this place without hesitation.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. Everything inside makes you feel like you wanna live there forever. The morning light is absolutely beautiful, the garden and the inside is more beautiful than the photos. Everything is so comfortable, warm and nice. The kitchen is fully equipped, the rooms are super nice and each comes with a private bathroom. It’s definitely a place more relaxing and cosier than initially imagined. We would love to come in summer also🙏
